Chapter 200: What a Grand Gesture

Chapter 200: Chapter 200: What a Grand Gesture

"Gone already?" Sophie Wilson said with a smile, tilting her head to glance at her favorite idol. It seemed that after a few interactions, Julian Campbell’s idol aura truly lost its effect on her.

After all, there was a generation gap between them.

"Finally gone." Julian Campbell exhaled a long breath as if relieved.

Sophie Wilson laughed, "You’re quite afraid of him, huh?"

"Can’t help it, I’m used to it." Julian Campbell recalled his time with Charles Seymour with lingering fear, and shivered violently. He didn’t want to remember.

"My younger uncle is quite strict, always cold and distant; who wouldn’t be scared?" Julian Campbell said, pulling a wry face. Anyway, everyone he knew was afraid of his younger uncle.

"Actually, he’s just cold on the outside but warm on the inside, truly a gentle person." Sophie Wilson mentioned Charles Seymour with a smile that was as soft as sweet pink cotton candy.

Seeing Sophie Wilson’s blissful and sweet smile, Julian Campbell was speechless. Apparently, only his younger aunt would find his younger uncle gentle.

All they’ve felt was piercing coldness, that gentleness like a spring breeze... It seems his younger uncle saved it all for his younger aunt.

Not a scrap for them.

"Aren’t you filming for these three days either?" Sophie Wilson asked curiously.

"No need. I’ve already told Old Song, I’m spending these three days with you to really find that feeling." Julian Campbell said with a smile, "It’s understandable to be a bit unaccustomed to your first time acting."

"Yes, I’ve been learning acting from others these past days." Sophie Wilson nodded repeatedly; she was taking this role seriously.

She liked this script, this role, and when reading it, she felt a surge of excitement.

"Did my younger uncle find you a teacher? You should have told me." Julian Campbell said regretfully, "I know quite a few teachers and good actors who can teach you. I could even get actors and emperors to help."

He had great connections in the circle.

"By the way, who did my younger uncle hire for you?" Julian Campbell asked curiously.

Sophie Wilson mentioned a name, Julian Campbell: "..."

He really wanted to find a corner and draw circles.

"What’s wrong?" Sophie Wilson noticed that Julian Campbell’s mood instantly dropped and asked in confusion if he had something difficult on his mind.

"Nothing." Julian Campbell forced a smile uglier than crying, "I just feel I really haven’t learned my lesson."

"Huh?" Sophie Wilson was even more puzzled, what’s wrong with him?

"How could my younger uncle hire someone of little significance?" Julian Campbell sighed, holding his forehead, "That person... even top actors crave his guidance as a teacher."

That person had long since retired, no amount of money or favors could make any difference.

His younger uncle was impressive; what kind of leverage did he have to get that person to come out?

"Um... younger aunt, do you plan to enter the entertainment industry?" Julian Campbell asked curiously.

"Never thought about it." Sophie Wilson shrugged, "Just interested in this script. If you asked me to make a living out of it... I really don’t have the perseverance... Acting is tough work too."

So, just for this one project, his younger uncle invited Teacher Lee to coach his younger aunt — what a grand gesture.

No wonder it’s his younger uncle.

Julian Campbell patted his chest, the impact was too great, his heart hurt a little...
