Chapter 157: Chapter 157: Fortunately
Grace’s charming expression on her face instantly froze and shattered.
Molested him?
"He molested me! I’m just a young woman, how could I possibly molest a man?" Grace instinctively retorted, shouting.
"But you ’tripped over flat ground’ and managed to fall right into my boyfriend’s arms. If that’s not molesting my boyfriend, then what counts?"
"Do you have to pull down my boyfriend’s pants or something?"
"Sophie!" Lily suddenly flared up upon hearing this, shouting, "Saying such shameless things, aren’t you disgraceful?"
"So Grace can do it, but I can’t talk about it?" Sophie wouldn’t be intimidated by Lily, and shot back sarcastically.
"You..." Lily charged over with three steps turned into two, but before she got close, Sophie immediately sought help from the police, "See, she’s daring to hit people right in front of you."
"What’s going on? If you have something to say, say it!" The police stepped in front of Lily upon seeing this.
"No, Officer, that’s not how it is..." Lily tried to explain hurriedly but was interrupted by a cry of pain. Looking up, she only saw Grace falling to the ground, while Charles had already stood up in disgust, wiping his hands with a tissue as if they had been contaminated by something dirty.
"Why did you push my daughter?" Lily was absolutely protective of her daughter, immediately jumping and rushing over.
"Grace, Grace, are you okay? Maybe we should go to the hospital and have a check." Lily asked worriedly, fearing any harm on Grace’s body.
"Officer, it’s truly a false accusation against my granddaughter." Cassandra started to explain at this point, "Look, my granddaughter is just a girl, how could she throw herself at a man?"
"Clearly that man wanted to take advantage of my granddaughter and threw dirt on her."
Cassandra’s words made the corners of the police officers’ mouths twitch.
Do these people think we’re blind?
Finally, a slightly older officer spoke up: "We were already here when she walked toward that gentleman."
The meaning of these words was too clear, plainly telling Cassandra not to drag it out anymore.
They saw the whole process clearly, who jumped at whom. Their eyesight was perfectly fine!
"Didn’t he just call the police?" Cassandra was a bit bewildered, "How did you get in?"
"We had already called the police before coming in," Sophie explained, kindly, "And when Mr. Wilson and Miss Wilson came back, they didn’t close the door."
"Luckily they didn’t, otherwise my boyfriend’s reputation would be gone." Sophie patted her chest in relief, holding onto Charles’ arm, "Thank goodness, thank goodness."
Grace nearly erupted in anger.
As if she could do anything to this man!
"Sophie, do you think your boyfriend is some hot commodity that everyone wants to snatch!" Grace yelled back in humiliation and anger.
Now she wasn’t even thinking about snatching that pillar of support away.
"Of course my boyfriend is a hot commodity to you." Sophie chuckled, "Soon you won’t even have a place to stay, when you see my boyfriend has money, you just throw caution to the wind and jump at him."
"There are plenty of women out there who think they can get something for nothing."
"Who doesn’t have a place to stay?" Grace angrily retorted, "My dad bought us a new house to live in!"
