Chapter 155 Embarrassment

Chapter 155: Chapter 155 Embarrassment

Sophie Wilson cleared her throat, turned her face away, and looked elsewhere.

She wasn’t sure if she was overthinking, but she always felt like Charles Seymour’s gaze was electric, just one look made her heart tremble.

Fortunately, the five minutes passed quickly.

When Stephen Wilson pushed the door open and came in, Cassandra Lee and Lily Warren were already extremely angry.

No matter what they said, Sophie Wilson had no reaction.

When Lily Warren came over trying to grab Sophie Wilson, Lawyer Newell immediately stood up and asked her if she intended to cause physical harm to Sophie Wilson.

Lily Warren became anxious upon hearing this: "How is hitting my own daughter physical harm?"

"If it is, we could call the police for identification." Lawyer Newell immediately took out his phone, pressed the three digits "110", and then, with his finger resting on the dial button, looked at Lily Warren with utmost calmness.

Then, Lily Warren backed down.

Upon seeing Stephen Wilson return, Lily Warren and Cassandra Lee finally felt a sense of support.

"Stephen, you’re finally back." Lily Warren quickly stepped forward to complain, "I don’t know what’s gotten into Sophie Wilson, barging in with outsiders. Look, she’s infuriated mom."

"You have to talk to her. If this continues, what are we going to do in the future?"

Stephen Wilson glanced at Sophie Wilson... and the man beside her, Charles Seymour.

That man wasn’t dressed in formal attire, just a simple shirt and pants, but on him, it exuded an understated sense of luxury.

Thinking about the luxury car parked in front of his house... Stephen Wilson’s gaze flickered.

He thought about how Sophie Wilson managed to dig up old affairs, and now it made sense as she found a supporter.

"Go pack your things." Stephen Wilson didn’t respond to Lily Warren but ordered.

"P-pack up things?" Lily Warren was taken aback and asked in confusion, "Why pack up things?"

"We’re moving." Stephen Wilson announced.

Lily Warren was stunned for a moment, then laughed understandingly, "Ah, Stephen, have you bought a new house again?"

"You didn’t even give us a heads up about buying a new house, and now with so many things to move, how could we pack up in just one or two days?"

As Lily Warren spoke, she turned to Cassandra Lee, grinning cheerfully, "Mom, look, Stephen bought a big house to show his respect to you again."

"Good, good!" Cassandra Lee nodded repeatedly with satisfaction, her son was truly promising.

A flash of pain passed through Stephen Wilson’s eyes as he said in a deep voice, "No need to pack so many things, just gather your personal clothes."

"How can that be? We have so many good things, we can’t just leave them behind," Lily Warren playfully "scolded" Stephen Wilson for being wasteful, "Even if we’re wealthy, it’s wasteful not to cherish what we have."

"These things were all earned with your hard work. As a person, you must know gratitude, not to act recklessly without regard for anything." Saying this, Lily Warren gave Sophie Wilson a meaningful glare.

"Sophie Wilson, your little tantrums don’t matter, we’re all one family. As long as you apologize sincerely, we’ll forgive you," Lily Warren said to Sophie Wilson with "magnanimity."

"All I have to do is apologize?" Sophie Wilson looked at Lily Warren with "appreciation."

Lily Warren huffed, cursing inwardly, trash is trash, she refused to believe she couldn’t handle this little brat.

"You should just stop going to the company from now on, to avoid making a spectacle of yourself."
