The truth of the matter was known only to Feng Ninghe.
"Third Miss, you seem very interested in my affairs."
Feng Ninghe turned her gaze towards her.
Their eyes met, each holding an unfathomable depth.
Feng Tongtong's heart inexplicably fluttered, and her smile appeared strained. "What is Eldest Sister saying? I am merely concerned for your safety and asked a few more questions out of concern."
Feng Ninghe raised an eyebrow, looking directly at her, her sharp gaze making one feel guilty.
Feng Tongtong lowered her eyes, pretending to be nonchalant as she ate.
After the meal, everyone returned to their rooms to rest. Some of the younger generation, to better absorb spiritual energy, simply sat by the pond.
Night had fallen.
In her room, Feng Tongtong's face was ashen. She turned to Taohua beside her. "Convey my verbal order, go ask Elder Mo what happened, and why Feng Ninghe returned unharmed!"
Taohua dared not delay, quickly acknowledging the order before hurrying away.
In a certain room.
Feng Ninghe was eating fruit. She tilted her head to look at the moon hanging high in the night sky and said softly, "Xiao Zhao, time is almost up. We should make our move."
Xiao Zhao nodded obediently, hopped onto the ground, its small form rapidly growing larger, its face also changing.
In the blink of an eye, Xiao Zhao had transformed into Feng Ninghe's likeness, their faces identical.
"Master, how do you think I look? Is it perfect and flawless?"
Xiao Zhao broke into a smile, its exquisite eyes curving with it.
This scene caused Feng Ninghe to nod with utmost satisfaction, gently patting its shoulder. "It's lifelike. Indistinguishable from the real thing. Remember to speak less and just sit by the pond to cultivate."
Xiao Zhao unhesitatingly reached out and patted its chest, saying with conviction, "Master, rest assured, Xiao Zhao will not reveal any flaws."
When the time was right, two figures moved off in separate directions.
'Feng Ninghe' arrived by the pond.
Many of the Feng family juniors were meditating and absorbing spiritual energy here.
As soon as the Great Elder sat down, he saw 'Feng Ninghe' and spoke proactively, "Ninghe, you've come too."
'Feng Ninghe' nodded and sat beside the Great Elder.
"Eldest Miss."
Feng Xiaoru blinked her eyes and approached her, her light female voice slowly falling. "Your cultivation is among the best of our peers. I didn't expect you to be so diligent. Third Miss hasn't even arrived, and you're already here."
'Feng Ninghe' waved her hand dismissively, pointing to the Great Elder beside her, and replied in a deep, pinched voice, "The Great Elder sets an example, so naturally, we juniors must learn more."
Feng Xiaoru found this reasonable and nodded thoughtfully. Her bright eyes gained a serious expression, and when her gaze fell upon Feng Ninghe, a hint of admiration unconsciously appeared in her eyes.
'Feng Ninghe' did not sit for long before she got up.
She intentionally lingered in front of the crowd, occasionally offering guidance to her Feng family peers.
Seeing that it was her, everyone wished they could learn more and flocked around her.
That night, Feng Tongtong tossed and turned, unable to sleep.
A gust of wind swept in, breaking the window with a creak.
Feng Tongtong on the bed raised an eyebrow and sent out a surge of spiritual energy to close the window.
As she turned, she saw a figure stealthily appearing at her door.
"Taohua, what are you doing standing at the door?"
She asked with slight annoyance.
The person standing at the door did not respond but calmly reached out and pushed the door open.
The candlelight in the room suddenly brightened, and the woman at the door stepped inside. Feng Tongtong also saw clearly who had entered the room at that moment.
"Feng Ninghe?"
"What are you doing here?"
Feng Tongtong was startled, an invisible chill swept over her, creeping up her spine. Beads of sweat appeared on her forehead.
Feng Ninghe approached her step by step, her narrow eyes narrowing, exuding a chilling intent. "Guess why I'm here?"
Feng Tongtong shivered in fear, her composure faltering. "Feng Ninghe, if you dare to lay a hand on me, I'll call for help immediately. This manor is full of people. You'd best not act rashly."
Everything that had happened at the Hundred擂 Competition flashed through Feng Tongtong's mind.
She had no doubt that if she fell into this woman's hands, she would have no chance of survival.
Feng Ninghe looked directly at her, her red lips moving, and she spoke softly, "Did you collude with Mo Zisang to try and harm me?"
The icy words struck Feng Tongtong, who, though struggling to maintain her composure, retorted fiercely, "What are you talking about? I don't know. Mo Zisang? I don't know him at all!"
Feng Ninghe's gaze deepened, her patience gone. A powerful pressure descended upon Feng Tongtong.
The pressure was so immense that Feng Tongtong could not withstand it. Her chest felt constricted, and a mouthful of blood spurted out.
She instinctively recoiled, her eyes filled with terror.
Facing Feng Ninghe, she was utterly helpless!
When did this woman become so terrifying?
"Help! Someone, quickly!"
"Help me, Feng Ninghe is trying to kill me!"
She could no longer care about anything else, and screamed at the top of her lungs.
Seeing her panicked and disheveled state, Feng Ninghe smiled, a hint of amusement in her eyes, and gazed at her calmly. "Your room has been sealed with a formation. Even if you scream until your throat is raw, no one will hear you. You can scream all you want, because what comes next is the real suffering."
Feng Tongtong's body trembled uncontrollably, her pupils dilating fiercely. "You're a madwoman... If you harm me, my parents and my second sister will never forgive you! My second sister has already entered the Immortal Sect, her talent is beyond your comparison!"
The warning words fell on deaf ears. Feng Ninghe glanced at her condescendingly, a ball of white light appearing in her palm.
Feng Tongtong wanted to flee, but under the absolute pressure of her power, she was immobile. Her exquisitely made-up face was etched with only fear.
At this moment, she could no longer care about anything else and quickly begged for mercy. "Feng Ninghe, as long as you spare me, I'll give you anything you want. Tonight, I'll pretend nothing happened, that I saw nothing!"
Her disheveled appearance was a stark contrast to her former haughty demeanor.
Feng Ninghe remained unmoved. Her thin lips were cold, her face like that of a death god crawling from hell. The chill surrounding her seemed to lower the temperature of the room.
"Feng Tongtong, I won't take your life today. Death would be too easy for you, a form of release. I want you to wish you were dead."
The chilling words were slowly uttered from her mouth.
She gave Feng Tongtong no further opportunity to speak and fiercely slammed the ball of light in her hand towards Feng Tongtong.
As the ball of light entered her body, it struck Feng Tongtong's dantian. She felt unbearable pain all over her body. The ball of light exploded within her dantian, and her cultivation and spiritual energy were forcefully dispersed outward.
"Ah! Feng Ninghe, you bitch, how dare you cripple my cultivation!"
