Chapter 191 First Encounter Arc 35

With the immense power surging through her and the memories of two lifetimes, Xingyue was already far stronger than ordinary individuals. Thus, even facing over a dozen God Realm powerhouses simultaneously, the pressure wasn't overwhelming.

When she went berserk, the others immediately found themselves struggling to cope.

Yu, caught off guard, was ensnared by blood-red tentacles. His entire body was wrapped and "flown" towards the formation.

At this moment, a blue light flickered on his forehead – the protective charm his mother had left him was activated.

The instant he broke free from the blood-red tentacles, Yu unleashed a secret technique he least wished to use: the Samsara.

Upon activation, his current body would swiftly perish, and his soul would attach itself to a young demon. Fortunately, he succeeded. By attaching himself to an unknown young beast outside the Desolate Domain, he narrowly escaped death.

Xingyue saw Yu's "corpse" and, without a second thought, directly merged him into the formation. His soul escaping was unimportant; most of his power resided within his body and would not affect the final outcome.

Although the blood-red tentacles were formidable, they managed to sever a few through the combined efforts of everyone. However, in the end, with the exception of Yu, all others were unable to escape being devoured by the Spirit Replenishing Formation, becoming its nourishment.

After successfully absorbing everyone into the formation, Xingyue fell from mid-air, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Xingyuan joyfully retrieved the Ice Feather Flower. However, after leaving the Extreme South, she could no longer sense her elder sister's aura, and unease began to fill her heart.

This had never happened before. She possessed a portion of the Heavenly Dao's power and authority; there was no one in the world she couldn't find, especially since her elder sister's aura was so radiant to her.

Agitated and restless, Xingyuan transformed into her original form, her azure pupils faintly turning blood-red.

She soared into the sky, roaring repeatedly, demanding a response from the Heavenly Dao. The intense sense of unease caused her to violently collide with the world's barrier.

The Heavenly Dao initially feigned ignorance. Who knew why it had become like this after waking up!

But Xingyuan grew increasingly violent. Although her current strength could not threaten the Heavenly Dao, with each impact, the entire world vibrated subtly.

The Heavenly Dao, left with no choice, responded. After pointing Xingyuan in a direction, it fell silent once more.

Upon receiving the response, Xingyuan's unease intensified. The Heavenly Dao's reaction was tantamount to directly telling her that the person she cared about was in trouble.

Xingyuan didn't know how she found that place. Perhaps it was because the Desolate Domain had almost completely vanished, and she saw her elder sister at a glance.

She remembered the despair she felt at that moment, as if she had fully awakened, possessing her own true consciousness.

She transformed into human form and helped the weakened Xingyue, who lay on the ground. Her power flowed into Xingyue without hesitation, and Xingyue finally opened her eyes.

"You still found me? I didn't intend for you to see this. I thought I could handle everything before you returned, but I overestimated myself."

Xingyue sighed and gently wiped away the tear streaks from Xingyuan's eyes.

"Elder Sister!" Xingyuan cried softly, her expression filled with agony. She was still too weak to save the elder sister she considered her life.

"Why? This was something I had to do. What does it have to do with you, Elder Sister? You promised me you would fulfill all my requests. My request is that you must not die."

Xingyuan hugged Xingyue tightly, trying to warm her with her own body heat.

"I'm sorry! I'm afraid I'll have to break my promise. But I did do one good thing. Look, Yuan'er can live well for me from now on."

Xingyue tried to force a smile, but found the action too difficult in her current state.

"No, I only want Elder Sister. I want nothing else." Xingyuan shook her head repeatedly, tears falling onto the ground.

"Yuan'er has always been the most obedient to Elder Sister, so it's the same this time. Remember what you promised Elder Sister, or Elder Sister will be angry." Xingyue attempted to pat Xingyuan's head as usual, but her fingers slipped down weakly.

She closed her eyes gently, her form dissolving like smoke into the formation above.

Xingyuan reached out, trying to grasp something, but could hold onto nothing. Her eyes turned completely crimson, and her once snow-white wings became as black as if splattered with ink.

She spread her wings and charged towards the Spirit Replenishing Formation. Her elder sister was the person she cared about most in this world. Since she couldn't save her, she would leave with her.

However, the Spirit Replenishing Formation was built according to Xingyue's will, and her power permeated the entire formation. Those she wished to protect, this formation would also protect.

Xingyuan's charge missed. The Spirit Replenishing Formation ascended rapidly into the sky, and the entire Desolate Domain shattered, turning into nothingness.

Xingyuan closed her eyes, allowing the fluctuations from the formation's activation to strike her downwards. Despite possessing wings, they hung listlessly due to her heart devoid of life.

She fell into the depths of the Desolate Domain. By chance, the entrance to the Demon Realm opened for this former Ying Tian Beast.

From ancient times, Ying Tian Beasts have had two forms. Legend has it that when her wings turned black, she was no longer born of heaven, a favored beast of the Heavenly Dao, but a Fallen Beast envied by heaven.

When she transformed into this state, it signified that she and the Heavenly Dao were mortal enemies.

But Xingyuan gave no thought to these matters. She only wanted to find her elder sister. However, she was now consumed by extreme grief, utterly weak, lacking even the will to stand up and end her own life.

Although there were few demons in the Demon Realm now, there were countless demon souls. The Demon Realm had been sealed for a long time. As the first living being to enter the Demon Realm in years, Xingyuan was greatly adored by its inhabitants.

Within a few days, Xingyuan's massive body was roughly torn into pieces by these demon souls. Despite the piercing pain, Xingyuan remained motionless, merely thinking, wishing they would finish her off quickly.

At the center of the Demon Realm stood a demonic sword, which had a penchant for devouring demon souls. One day, when it awoke to find no demon souls, it left its central domain to hunt.

It encountered a sentient being whose aura lingered but had willingly exiled itself. It was drawn to the aura of this being, so it drove away all the demon souls and stayed by her side, silently guarding her.
