Chapter 516: 516: Hall of Water’s Trial (1)
Upon their arrival to the Hall of Water, all God Transformation (Huashen) Realm cultivators were invited to watch at the side while all the chosen ones remained at the small piece of land suffering having their qi sealed, standing under the sun and exposed to the tantalizing scent of food lingering from the restaurant where their masters and seniors are staying.
Ignoring the rumbling of their stomach which they haven’t experienced ever since reaching their current strength, they were feeling a bit uncomfortable. They are now looking at the stone mermaid holding the stoneboard with written rules on it.

Note: This Pearl is a treasure called Water Evading Pearl. It allows one to breathe in water for a certain period of time.
Failure: Experience drowning
Reward: Water Evading Pearl and a low level technique called Water control.}

{Intermediate Trial: Go to the Mermaid Clan’s Warrior Arena and defeat a Mermaid Warrior.
Note: The strength of the Mermaid Warrior Varied and so is the reward.
Failure: Become servant for the Mermaid race for 100 years.
Reward: Mermaid Egg, Water Evading Pearl, Mermaid scales and skin [Material for creating armors] and Water related techniques ranging from mid to earth grade.}

Note: This is a demigod who is the closest to becoming the Water Dragon.
Failure: Death without reincarnation
Reward: Water God’s Heir and the ownership of the Water Hall.}

[Trial of the Water God’s Duration is 300 years. 100 years in this hall is only a year outside. After 300 years, if no heir had appeared the Hall of Water will close and everyone will be sent to another hall.]
The contents of the stone board rendered everyone speechless. The rewards were rich as expected and each one of them was enough to be considered in the outside world. However, the trials and the failure punishment is shocking as well. Moreover that failure for the Inheritance Trial is death without reincarnation. It means if they failed they would perish here.
The cultivators in front of the stoneboard were all only looking at the contents and no one even noticed that the stone mermaid under it was alive and was observing all the trial takers.
Meanwhile at the restaurant, Yue Xuexia was reading her book while laying on a hammock when suddenly she heard Yue Huashui speak to her mind.
’Mom, can I try the trial as well? I am also a Yuanying Cultivator!’ The Sentient Water Lotus, Yue Huashui said.

They watch as the young boy with blue hair wearing white glittery robe runs towards the trial site. The other Yuanying Cultivators were shocked when they saw a boy coming over to their side. Some kindhearted cultivators had warned the boy to leave.

Yue Huashui felt belittled and shouted, "No. I also want to take the trial. I am a Yuanying Cultivator as well!"
However, people hardly believe him and said,

All of the sudden a gentle looking young man with blonde hair braid on one side with a pair of lilac irises joined in their conversation and is now looking at the sentient water lotus flower spirit, Yue Huashui. They saw him moving his fingers as if calculating something and finally smiled as he looked at Yue Huashui. This man is the only disciple of Xia Lianyu and his name is Xia Baiyu.
"A flower spirit!? This child is the princess’s person... then is this his humanoid form. So young~" said Xia Baiyu.
Yue Huashui glared at the young man pinching his face and said, "Let go, Uncle!"
"Kid, call me brother," said Xia Baiyu as he crouched in front of the boy so they could have the same eye level. He was still pinching his cheeks, and even mumbles, "So soft~"

"Uncle, are you a pervert!?" Yue Huashui asked as he slapped the naughty hands pinching his cheeks.
Xia Baiyu chuckled and said, "Did you want the inheritance? Brother will help you~"
"You want to help me? Hm... But you must give me all the corpses. I need it to feed my siblings!" The sentient water lotus flower spirits said.
Xia Baiyu smiled, "Okay. I promise. All corpses will be yours to take away."
"Then I agree!" said Yue Huashui.
When Xia Baiyu said these words, the other disciples of the Starfield Sect all turned serious. It is well-known in their sect that this new senior brother of theirs is the only disciple of their Supreme Elder and his wife. In short, he has two Masters and both at Huashen Realm. Though most quota were given to the other disciples of the Starfield Sect, this is only because the Supreme elder only had chosen Xia Baiyu as their chosen one.

Xing Suiri asked, "Who else is needed in the group?"
"Them," Xia Baiyu pointed at the two good looking monks who stayed at the sideline praying in silence as if the whole world was clear in their minds.
Lan Guye frowned, "Senior Brother Xia, are you sure?"
"I am very sure~" said Xia Baiyu.
Upon hearing these words, Xing Suiri approached the two monks who are the disciples of the Buddha’s Heir, Senior Hu Tengyu. Yue Huashui was looking at Xia Baiyu with a weird look and let the man hug him.
The thoughts of the young boy are: ’This person is surnamed Xia. Mom said Grandpa’s surname is Xia. I must be kind to them.’
