Yuan Jing heard the unfriendly tone of the woman on the other end of the phone. She was already very upset and extremely annoyed after being thoroughly dealt with by Chu Lingtian. Now, being questioned like this, she immediately retorted in the same unfriendly tone.

When Yuan Jing said "Deal!", she gritted her teeth, cursing Chu Lingtian in her heart for being so stingy and unchivalrous. He'd surely never find a girlfriend and would be a bachelor for life.
By the time Chu Lingtian had taken all his clothes out of the bedroom and put them in the living room, Yuan Jing had already cleaned up the glass coffee table and the living room floor. The two of them walked out to eat.
"I know a good place nearby that serves Maocai, it's really tasty. How about we go there?"
Yuan Jing didn't have much money on her right now, otherwise, she wouldn't have pleaded to share the rent with Chu Lingtian and taken on the responsibilities of laundry, cooking, and cleaning.
