Chapter 127 The Kidnapping

Hao Ren and Vivian waited until twelve noon, but still didn't see Lily's shadow.

That girl was a very punctual person—at least when it came to meal times. As a husky, she wouldn't give anyone a chance to steal her food, so she usually came home an hour before mealtime. "It's the first time she's been late for a meal," Vivian said, placing the dishes on the table and looking strangely at the entrance. "Did something hold her up?"

"I'll give her a call," Hao Ren said, taking out his phone and dialing Lily's number. After a while, he shook his head. "No one's answering."

Vivian and Hao Ren stared at each other. The former finally spoke first, "Does she have any other friends or places to go around here?"
