After King Arthur and the others finished watching the video, they fell into a deep silence, their faces ashen.
Lancelot spoke first. "Why don't these brutes dare to go to China? Why are they here, causing us trouble?"
King Arthur shook his head. "That's just the vampires' excuse. They're after us. Back in the mid-16th century, the four previous Vampire Princes were killed by the previous King Arthur. Compared to the grudges held by those four old geezers, what are a few bat-pups from China?"
King Arthur then turned his gaze to Old Lancelot and Old Gawain. "My two old friends, tell me your thoughts. Only by standing united can Great Britain overcome this crisis."
Old Gawain looked at King Arthur with a serious expression. "I thought after watching the video, only I had the most terrible expression, but I never expected Your Majesty's to be even worse. I never saw you make such a face, not even when your father, the previous great King Arthur, fell."
Old Lancelot nodded in agreement. "Indeed. When the old King Arthur fell, I felt he was quite happy. Rumor has it he doted on two maids that very night."
King Arthur said with a proud air, "I was young then, after all. It's not worth mentioning, not worth mentioning."
Lancelot glared at the three dissolute old men. "That's enough from you three. Shouldn't we be considering how to solve this? Do you want Great Britain to be destroyed by our own hands?"
The three of them said sheepishly, "Ah, apologies. When people get old, they tend to reminisce. But child, you don't need to worry. Quickly go to China and invite some of our ancestors over, and getting rid of that little bat will solve everything."
Lancelot covered his face. "I wish I could, damn it. But where's the money? You old fools have squandered it all. How can I possibly invite anyone?"
King Arthur looked at Old Lancelot questioningly. "Old friend, didn't you tell us about this young gentleman?"
Old Lancelot pondered deeply, then shook his head. "I'm old. I don't remember."
King Arthur then produced a set of rune keys. "Take these, child. These are keys to other treasure vaults in the secret realm. The vault you opened was just the one with the fewest resources. This time, I'm entrusting you with the entire treasure vault of the secret realm. It should be enough to keep the ancestors of China here for 100 years."
King Arthur then seemed to remember something else. "Oh, right, young Lancelot, tell me when the resources in this secret realm treasure vault are used up. Great Britain has a second secret realm treasure vault."
Lancelot stared blankly at the nearly twenty keys in his hand, thinking to himself: Damn, when did Great Britain become so rich? But why does such a wealthy nation have no strong individuals, only these old weaklings? It seems buying life-extension elixirs in China was the biggest mistake.
The next morning.
Lin Dashao, who was still fast asleep embracing his wife, was woken by the shouts of the young Taoist priest Zhang Haoming.
"Brother, brother, stop sleeping! Something's happened!" the young Taoist priest yelled in the living room of Lin Zhan's villa.
Lin Zhan stumbled out, groggy, and looked at the anxious young Taoist priest. "What's wrong, brother-in-law? Did you lose money? Why the rush?"
The young Taoist priest scurried over to Lin Zhan with his short legs and whispered, "Brother, our golden VIP ultra-rich patron is here again. He seems to be in a hurry and wants to see you immediately."
Lin Zhan was taken aback. "Tell him I've become an idiot and can't handle anything anymore."
The young Taoist priest nodded. "I did. But Lancelot said it's a business worth billions, and he'll only talk to you."
Lin Zhan blinked. "How much? Billions? Damn, are they planning to sell off Great Britain to us?"
The young Taoist priest shook his head. "Brother, why care what they're selling? As long as we make money, it's fine. You know, with your fighting style, our current resources won't last many years."
Lin Zhan nodded. "Alright, bring them over. Take them to the dining room first. I'll see if they're in the mood for breakfast. It's also a good chance for me to stop pretending to be an idiot. Who cares when they have money?"
The young Taoist priest nodded. "That's right. Making money comes first. As long as the money's there, even glass can be shattered. We don't care about anything else. Once we have the chance, we'll smash their golden cages."
Lin Zhan returned to his room to wash up and soon arrived at the dining room.
The young Taoist priest was devouring a bowl of shrimp wontons and crab roe soup dumplings. Lancelot and William, on the other hand, only had a cup of coffee placed before them, which they hadn't touched.
Lin Zhan walked into the dining room with a smile and politely said to the two, "Mr. Lancelot, I sincerely apologize. I sustained an injury a while ago, so I've been waking up a bit late."
Lancelot stood up and politely replied, "Young friend Lin, there's no need for politeness. Today, I've come both to check on you and to ask for your help. I hope you can lend us a hand."
William impatiently interjected, "Damn it, Old Ancestor Lancelot, at this point, can we stop the pleasantries and let me see the video?"
Seeing Lin Zhan's bewildered gaze, Lancelot reluctantly handed him the video of Blood Emperor Nicholas.
Lin Zhan watched the video with curiosity and scoffed. "This bastard thinks he can play the tactic of 'luring the reinforcements by attacking the point'? He's way too green. He's acting all high and mighty. If he dares to come to China, I'll turn him into barbecue."
William stared at Lin Zhan in shock. "Damn, brother, when did you get so brave? Aren't you afraid of getting poisoned by eating roasted bats?"
Lin Zhan gave him a look of utter disbelief. "Who told you roasted bats are poisonous? Our ancestors have been roasting them for thousands of years, and not one of them has ever died from eating them."
William blinked. "Didn't the 'Big Beautiful' people say that? They even got a lot of people to promote it."
Lin Zhan rolled his eyes at William and said exasperatedly, "That's just to fool idiots, and you believe it? They might have even poisoned them themselves and then blamed it on roasted bats."
William nodded thoughtfully. "Damn, that's a real possibility. After all, those guys are all mixed breeds, with no humanity to begin with."
