Chapter 254 Primordial Beings

After listening to Tie Lao Si finish, Lin Zhan was somewhat bewildered. He wasn't sure if it was his own poor comprehension or if the drunken, simple-minded panda hadn't explained things clearly.

"Brother Si, your story is as haphazard as your appearance. What's this about divine races and the three races? We just finished off those little chicks from the Jinwu clan, so why are you bringing up all this other nonsense?"

Tie Lao Si, having transformed back into his giant panda form, rolled his eyes at Lin Zhan. "With your comprehension skills, how did those old scoundrels entrust you with managing China's affairs?"

He then turned to Tie Lao Wu and said, "Lao Wu, you explain it properly to this kid." With that, Tie Lao Si lay down on the ground and promptly fell asleep.

Tie Lao Wu, with blurry, drunken eyes, looked at Lin Zhan and began to ramble, "That guy, ever since Pangu split the heavens and earth..."

"What the hell are you babbling about? I told you to explain the Jinwu and Divine races to him, and you're really stretching things out," Tie Lao Si, who had apparently woken up, yelled. He got up and slapped Tie Lao Wu, sending him reeling.

"Holy crap, Brother Si, aren't you asleep?" Tie Lao Wu blinked his small eyes at his elder brother.

Tie Lao Si ignored the idiotic Tie Lao Wu and turned to Lin Zhan. "Actually, among the Ten Thousand Races, every major race has many sub-races. Take the Orc race, for instance. There are werewolves, tiger-men, fox-men, minotaurs, and so on. There are nearly a hundred major and minor races in total."

"And the Ten Thousand Races are not a monolithic bloc. There's constant infighting and warfare between the races. However, most of them have a grudge against humanity, and they quickly band together when it comes to fighting humans. In reality, it's less about fighting humans and more about fighting China, all because we're such foodies."

Lin Zhan looked utterly confused. "Whoa, wait a minute, Brother Si. This is getting a bit confusing. My brain can't process this all at once."

Tie Lao Si shook the wine jar in his hand, found it empty, and unceremoniously snatched Tie Lao Wu's Hundred Flower Wine, taking another swig. Seeing Tie Lao Wu about to get angry, the young Daoist priest quickly handed him another jar and slipped him some metal bamboo shoots as a snack. Tie Lao Wu patted the young Daoist priest's head in thanks.

Then, while crunching the metal bamboo shoots and spitting sparks, he said to Tie Lao Si, "Brother Si, you're getting off track again. Hurry up and tell Lin小子 about the Jinwu and Divine races, stop rambling about this irrelevant stuff."

Tie Lao Si suddenly exclaimed, "Whoa, I veered off course."

"But it doesn't matter. It's good to give Lin小子 a refresher course on the Ten Thousand Races, so he doesn't step on any landmines later." He then turned back to Lin Zhan. "Speaking of the Jinwu race, we have to mention the Primordial Three Races, which are the Sun, Moon, and Star races."

"The history of these three races, much like humanity, is incredibly long. Later, for certain reasons, the three races perished, leaving behind the Jinwu, Elf, and Star Spirit races respectively."

"The Jinwu race was actually a pet of the Sun race back then, the Elf race were servants of the Moon race, and the Star Spirit race were half-breeds of the Star race. After the Primordial Three Races were wiped out, these three subordinates became powerful and dared to provoke us in China."

"Although these three aren't much, the legacy left by the Primordial Three Races was so immense that most people wouldn't dare to provoke them. The Jinwu race, relying on some old scoundrel, constantly antagonized us and ended up getting dealt with by Ancestor Fuxi."

"The Elf race, well, they became our allies. By human standards, the Elf girls are beauties. But we Iron-Eating Beasts don't find them appealing. They're hairless, naked, and not strong at all. They just don't whet our appetite."

"As for the Star Spirit race, they aren't ranked in the top ten of the Ten Thousand Races because they're just neutral intelligence brokers. When some emperor is born or an emperor awakens, they light a star in the sky. They really do all sorts of annoying things. However, these guys are terrified of Ancestor Hou Yi. Ancestor Hou Yi truly doesn't tolerate them, shooting them down one by one with his arrows."

Lin Zhan and the young Daoist priest exchanged glances. Lin Zhan stated with certainty, "Brother Si, when did you start doing stand-up comedy? You don't even have a straight man to play off of. Why don't you and Brother Wu form a duo?"

"Alright, kid, stop messing with me. I'll continue telling you about the Divine race." Tie Lao Si said to Lin Zhan unceremoniously.

"The Divine race, their origins are similar to ours in China; they are ancient races. The Divine race and the Demon race are just general terms. They, along with humanity and the race of Innate Spirits, were life forms born during the primordial chaos when the universe first opened."

"However, from the moment they were born, the Divine and Demon races were already powerful. Humanity was quite weak then. After countless epochs, humanity gradually grew stronger, while the Divine race began to absorb powerful races, forming what is now the Divine race."

"In reality, the only beings truly born from chaos were the Ancient Divine Race, the Demon Race, the Chinese race, the race of Innate Spirits, and some powerful races within the Dragon and Sacred Beast races. These races have another name: Primordial Beings."

"These are the races that need to be paid attention to among the Ten Thousand Races. As for the rest of those pathetic lowlifes, once our great emperors of China awaken, we'll simply sweep them aside. We'll keep the delicious ones, keep the ones who can work, and kill all the ugly and ill-mannered ones."

Lin Zhan listened to the garrulous giant panda finish and fell into silent contemplation.

"Brother Si, now I know what to do next."

Lin Zhan then said to the young Daoist priest, "Brother-in-law, gather the brothers for a meeting. We're going to do something big."

The young Daoist priest quickly took out his communicator and began notifying everyone.

At the same time, Lin Zhan turned to Zhang Lingxiu beside him. "Wife, can you prepare something good for tonight? We'll treat everyone to a meal."

Zhang Lingxiu nodded. "I'll arrange it. I'll also invite the sisters to gather. Since you're going to war again, it'll put everyone's minds at ease."

Lin Zhan nodded in agreement. "You arrange it as you see fit."

Looking at the young Daoist priest, Zhang Haoming, who had finished contacting everyone, Lin Zhan spoke again.

"Brother-in-law, have your spies spread the news that the ancestor of China, Yu Longyan, is personally inspecting the United States Special Administrative Region."

"He was seriously injured in an attack by the Necromancer race. The Ancestral Court of China has decided to declare war on the Necromancer race."

"Then, find some actors to put on a show. Remember, you must find veteran actors. Don't be afraid of spending money. Those little fresh meat actors are useless even if they're free; they can't even memorize their lines and might blow the cover."
