Chapter 2 Asgard

As Lin Zhan and his group stepped out of the teleportation array, they saw Adam, his father Thor, and a group of Asgardian high-ranking officials waiting to greet them.

Emperors Liu Che and Liu Xiu of the Han Dynasty, serving as foreign ambassadors, were also present.

"Brother, Brother Xiao Ming, I've missed you terribly. Come, get in the car. You and Xiao Ming absolutely must stay with me for a few days. I'll show you around and make sure you have a fantastic time," Adam exclaimed, greeting everyone.

After exchanging pleasantries, Adam warmly ushered Lin Zhan and the little Taoist priest into a luxurious carriage.

Though it was a carriage, it was pulled by two king-level white flying horses.

The little Taoist priest, his eyes full of curiosity, looked at the two steeds and said, "Ah, these little foals are so adorable. When we leave, can you get me a pair? I want to take them home for my wife to play with."

The little Taoist priest's request for two flying horses wasn't solely for Lin Ya'er.

It was also for the old ancestor Yan Di. The little Taoist priest had discovered that this ancestor not only enjoyed farming but also raising livestock.

In the back mountains of the Shennong tribe, this ancestor had specifically cleared out an area.

Inside, wild boars, wild oxen, chickens, ducks, geese, and even the little Taoist priest's mount, that husky, were all being kept.

Even the sacred elephants and divine oxen that were "borrowed" from Yin Sangguang's bald head had been taken by this ancestor to be raised, with the noble intention that only by breeding more could the sons of Huaxia have enough to eat.

Therefore, the little Taoist priest had been running around the heavens for the past month, doing business and incidentally collecting livestock that caught his eye from various races for the old man.

This had pleased the old man immensely, who praised the child for growing up and knowing how to show filial respect to his ancestors.

Upon hearing the little Taoist priest's request, Adam quickly replied, "If sister-in-law likes them, there's no question. Brother not only has flying horses but also rainbow goats. When Brother Xiao Ming leaves, I'll bring a few heads back for you."

"Ahaha, thank you, Brother Adam. This younger brother is truly indebted," the little Taoist priest replied with a smile.

Courtesy demands reciprocity. The more polite the little Taoist priest was, the more he intended to take advantage of someone.

"What are you talking about? We're all brothers here," Adam said.

As they spoke, they arrived at Odin's Hall of the God King.

Upon seeing Lin Zhan and his party arrive, the gods of Asgard rose to greet them.

Leading the welcoming party were the three pillars of Asgard: the King of Gods, Odin; Hoenir; and Lodur.

Tie Lao San, with a hearty chuckle, looked at Odin and said, "Old man Odin, you've got quite the airs. Not only did you not come to welcome Third Master, but you also expect Third Master to come and pay his respects?"

Odin's gaze sharpened, and he quickly said, "Third Master Tie, what are you saying? If the old man had known you were coming, he would never have waited here. He would have rushed out to welcome you."

The reputations of Tie Lao San, Tie Lao Da, and Tie Lao Er, these three brothers, were hard-earned.

These three, like the two old ancestors Chang Ruo and Cao Yu of the Great Shang Dynasty, had directly clashed with Great Emperors.

They all belonged to the elite few within the peak of the Emperor realm who could contend with Great Emperors.

In fact, every level had a small group of peak powerhouses. These individuals not only could fight above their level, but their innate talents were sky-high.

Most importantly, these individuals also had powerful backing. The weakest among them had at least a few Great Emperors protecting them.

Otherwise, with their exceptional talent and ability to fight above their level, they would have long ago been eliminated as thorns in the side by those petty old men.

Take the Tie brothers, for instance. When Ares, relying on his peak Great Emperor status, came to trouble their son, their father, grandfathers, uncles, and elder cousins all knew about it.

Through bloodline transmission, they directly arrived by their son's side. If they didn't beat you black and blue, it would only be because the elders were feeling lazy.

Ares was lucky that time because those old Iron Eater beasts were in the middle of a battle.

Otherwise, it wouldn't have just been Tie Lao San's father who went, but his entire extended family of uncles and cousins.

At that point, forget Apollo coming to save you; even if ten or eight Great Emperors from your divine race came, they would have been taken down by those seasoned fighters.

Everyone took their seats in order.

Odin, Hoenir, and Lodur, the three brothers, looked at Tie Lao San and Lie Shan Yu with some shock.

After all, these three brothers were roughly at the same level as Montbard.

Although they were significantly stronger than the four brothers of Lie Shan Yu, the three of them combined wouldn't be enough for Tie Lao San to handle alone.

Moreover, they knew about the racial talent of the Iron Eater beasts—'calling bears.'

Any Iron Eater beast with a bloodline connection above the Emperor realm could transmit themselves to each other.

This meant that if Tie Lao San had awakened, wouldn't Tie Lao Da and Tie Lao Er, those two shrewd old timers, also awaken?

If these three gathered together, let alone Asgard, even the War God Legion under the Divine Emperor Ares would be wiped out by them.

Tie Lao San popped an Asgardian spirit fruit into his mouth, chewed it, and said,

"How have you three old fellows been? When did you guys awaken? It's been almost a few thousand years since we last met, hasn't it?"

Hoenir nodded and said, "It's rare that Third Master still remembers. It's been almost four thousand years since we last met. How are your elder brother and second brother?"

Tie Lao San glared at Hoenir and said,

"You old scoundrel are full of schemes. You're not honest at all. We haven't seen each other for four thousand years, and you're already trying to pry information out of me? What, if I say that my elder brother and second brother haven't recovered yet, you, the third old bastard, are going to keep me here?"

Hoenir was stunned for a moment, then said, "You speak as if I, Hoenir, am not a decent person. Who knows that I, Hoenir, am the most upright? How could I do such a thing?" Sudana Novel Network

Tie Lao Si pouted and said, "Don't try to flatter yourself, you old geezer. Since ancient times, everyone knows that the eldest is simple-minded, the second is cunning. If you say your eldest brother Odin is upright, I might believe you. But you? You're far from being like your eldest brother."

"Third Master, I won't hide it from you anymore, so you don't have to keep thinking about things you shouldn't be. My elder brother and second brother are currently causing trouble for the legion commanders under Ares."

"A while ago, Third Master captured Montbard, that tiger, Godfrey, that sickly one, and Saint Omo, that show-off. When my elder brother and second brother heard this, they went out to deal with the remaining troublesome bean sprouts."

Odin and his two brothers were stunned: "Third Master, you can't be joking about this. Montbard and the others are really in your hands?"

"Do you think your Third Master is here to play jokes with you three old boys?"

Tie Lao San said this while pointing at Lin Zhan and said,

"When my little brother launches his campaign, I will use the heads of these three bastards to consecrate the banner."

Hearing this, Odin and his two brothers knew Tie Lao San was not joking.

Hoenir quickly said, "Third Master, the leader of the Famine Legion, Hugo, and the Famine Legion are currently observing us just outside Asgard. Perhaps you could ask your elder brother to conveniently..."
