This is a small canyon, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with only one exit, the place they had just entered.
The canyon wasn't large, and as far as the eye could see, it was grassland, with only a waterfall cascading down the cliff.
After looking around, Shen Xiaoyan, bored, walked to the river and sat on a large rock.
It had been two days since she transmigrated, and she hadn't had a chance to think properly. Now that she was finally free, Shen Xiaoyan didn't know what to think about.
In her past life, she had no relatives or friends. In the zombie apocalypse, no one would have remembered her even if she died, so she had no regrets.
The only one who might remember her was probably that tsundere raccoon cat, right?
That raccoon cat she obtained unexpectedly when she acquired her space...
Thinking of this, Shen Xiaoyan's face changed. She had been reborn, what about Luoluo?
"Hmph, you finally remembered this cat, didn't you?"
Just as Shen Xiaoyan thought of Luoluo, Luoluo's voice immediately echoed in her mind.
Shen Xiaoyan's eyes lit up, and a big smile bloomed on her face, "Luoluo, are you still alive?"
"If this cat wasn't here, you would have been eaten by zombies long ago, with not even your bones left. And yet you can sit here and talk?"
Luoluo's voice was full of disdain, and Shen Xiaoyan could even imagine Luoluo's arrogant little demeanor as it spoke.
"Luoluo, are you okay?" Thinking of how weak Luoluo looked the first time she saw it, Shen Xiaoyan became worried again.
"I'm fine, it's just that the portable space can't be opened for now. After I recover a bit, you'll be able to enter the portable space again," Luoluo said after a moment of silence.
Shen Xiaoyan felt a little relieved when she heard Luoluo's voice sounding normal.
Shen Xiaoyan wanted to say more, but suddenly she felt a prickling sensation on her back, as if someone was watching her.
Her body stiffened for a few seconds before Shen Xiaoyan slowly turned around.
Upon seeing the creature, Shen Xiaoyan's pupils contracted rapidly.
At the mouth of the canyon, a leopard cat had appeared at some point.
And it was clearly an adult tiger, about 2 meters long, lying leisurely. It saw Shen Xiaoyan and let out a low growl from its throat.
Shen Xiaoyan was extremely nervous now. If it were her past self, she wouldn't be afraid of one leopard cat, even four or five.
But not now. Her current body was only 15 years old, just an ordinary little girl. Facing a leopard cat, she would be dead in minutes.
After staring at the leopard cat for less than three seconds, Shen Xiaoyan felt her back getting wet. The linen clothes stuck to her back, making her extremely uncomfortable.
However, Shen Xiaoyan was even more puzzled. Where did this leopard cat come from?
There was only one way into the canyon. Zheng Wei had just left. Logically, he shouldn't have encountered a leopard cat. Could it be... he deliberately let the tiger in!
No matter how much Zheng Wei disliked her, he wouldn't send a leopard cat to eat her... would he?
Shaking her head lightly, Shen Xiaoyan's pupils suddenly widened.
In the last moment, she caught a glimpse of another leopard cat from the corner of her eye.
This time it was a cub, which seemed to have just climbed out of the river, its entire body wet. It slowly walked to the other leopard cat that was lying down.
As her gaze followed the little leopard cat, Shen Xiaoyan noticed that the adult leopard cat was also wet.
Before Shen Xiaoyan could react, another one crawled out of the river. This one was even larger than the adult leopard cat from before.
It looked like a male.
Shen Xiaoyan looked up at the sky speechlessly. She was just curious and followed them out to hunt, and now she had "luckily" encountered a leopard cat family of three on an outing.
If there were lotteries in ancient times, and if she could survive, she would definitely buy a lottery ticket!
While she was lost in thought, the leopard cat family of three had already gathered together, and the little leopard cat was tilting its head, looking at Shen Xiaoyan.
What was this two-legged walking creature? It was as thin as a frame, with less meat than a wild chicken.
"Ao." The little leopard cat meowed, rubbing its head against the mother tiger, as if saying something.
Shen Xiaoyan became tense, wouldn't the little leopard cat ask its mother to eat her?
But she was clearly overthinking it. The mother tiger didn't even look at her and continued to lie down and sunbathe.
"What are you doing? Not talking anymore? You're just abandoning this cat like this? This cat saved you twice, ungrateful..."
Luoluo's voice, gnashing its teeth, came into her mind. Shen Xiaoyan trembled all over with fright and quickly said in her mind, "I've encountered 3 leopard cats."
"Meow?" Luoluo's complaining voice abruptly stopped.
"I'm going to rest for a while, you continue."
Shen Xiaoyan: "..."
The mental connection went silent, and Shen Xiaoyan shifted her attention back to the three leopard cats... and was shocked.
These three leopard cats were actually sleeping, with the little leopard cat lying on top of the two adult tigers, drooling as it slept.
So, she was ignored like this?
Shen Xiaoyan shed a bitter tear in her heart. Could you three please move aside and leave a space for me to quietly walk out?
The entrance to the canyon wasn't large. The two adult leopard cats lay there, almost completely blocking the exit.
Shen Xiaoyan scanned her surroundings and finally set her eyes on the river.
Well, she couldn't swim.
Sighing again, Shen Xiaoyan stared intently at the snoring three tigers, praying that they would wake up quickly and leave, ignoring her as if she were air.
"Meow, are you still alive?"
"Still alive," Shen Xiaoyan said weakly.
"What about the leopard cat family?" Luoluo chuckled a few times.
"Sleeping."
"Then why aren't you leaving?"
"The tiger family is blocking the exit, and there's only the river."
"Serves you right for not learning to swim, you landlubber, hahahahaha!"
Shen Xiaoyan was speechless. She really couldn't expect any reliable ideas from this cat.
"How big is that little leopard cat?" After a long silence, Luoluo spoke again.
"It looks about a month old, about your size," Shen Xiaoyan replied after carefully observing it.
"A month old, huh? When it wakes up, you can feed it some milk to appease it. It might be useful."
Shen Xiaoyan cautiously asked, "Where is the milk?"
She couldn't enter her portable space now. If she could, she would hide inside and only come out after the leopard cats left.
"Meow!"
Luoluo let out a long meow.
The next second, milk and a bowl appeared in Shen Xiaoyan's hand.
She unscrewed the milk bottle and poured it into the bowl. There was still a little left after filling it, so Shen Xiaoyan licked it off her lips.
This milk was part of the stock she had salvaged from several milk factories during the zombie apocalypse. People were all scrambling for survival resources, so this milk was a bargain for her. Fortunately, the portable space could keep it fresh, otherwise, it wouldn't have lasted until now.
The little leopard cat was sleeping soundly but suddenly smelled the milk. This smell was different from its mother's milk.
When it was sure it wasn't dreaming, the little leopard cat opened its eyes.
It looked around with its blurry eyes and soon its gaze locked onto Shen Xiaoyan, as the scent seemed to be coming from her.
The little leopard cat rolled off the ground and wobbled its way to Shen Xiaoyan.
