Evelyn Clayton glanced at her and couldn’t help but laugh: "Why are you being so cautious? I heard about it. The online discussions are buzzing, how could I not have seen it?"
Though her tone was light, Yara still noticed the heaviness in Evelyn’s heart.
Yara sighed silently, "Earlier, when you talked about that night in Y Province, it was actually James Grant who saved you, right?"
When Evelyn initially mentioned the kidnapping incident to Yara, she intentionally omitted James Grant’s involvement.
She didn’t disregard James’s actions; she simply felt it was unnecessary.
After all, it seemed like James had already made his stance clear that night.
Everything between them had been washed away by the heavy rain that night.
But Yara’s mind was sharp, and she knew it was James who took Evelyn to Y Province, so she had guessed the rest.
"He saved me. Technically, I owe him a favor." Evelyn’s clear eyes stared at a certain spot, unmoving, looking like a lifeless, delicate doll. "I’ll repay the favor slowly, when I have the chance."
Yara grew anxious, "What do you mean slowly repay? Evelyn, you both clearly still have feelings for each other, so why not acknowledge them and be together?"
Evelyn pressed her lips together in silence, but her face gradually turned pale.
Yara did not notice her condition at first and spoke passionately, "Now that Gem is gradually rising, and with the support of Violet Ford and Director Ford, it’s only a matter of time before we grow bigger! You can’t still believe you’re not worthy of him, can you?"
To be honest, Yara never thought Evelyn was unworthy of James.
But she was afraid that Evelyn thought so herself, lowering her own worth.

Yara sighed, "Okay, work is important. Are you bringing Rhys Jacobs to your meeting with Lynn tonight?"
At first, Evelyn instinctively thought of saying no and letting Rhys follow Yara to the factory.
But after considering recent fluctuations, Evelyn nodded, "He’ll come with me. As for the factory, try to bring Julia Lawrence and the others; don’t act alone, got it?"

The two finalized the details and went about their respective tasks.
After work in the evening, Evelyn headed to the restaurant where she had arranged to meet Lynn, taking Rhys with her.
To her surprise, as soon as they arrived, Yara called.
