Chapter 347: Chapter 347: I Can Walk on My Own
Upon hearing this, Evelyn Clayton was naturally caught off guard.
But soon, Evelyn came to her senses and understood what was implied.
The phrase "considered as" was used, and it wasn’t genuine.
Violet Ford surely didn’t return to the country just to see her.
The primary reason was, more likely than not, because of Summer Monroe.
Violet returned this time to support her younger brother Franklin Ford.
Evelyn suppressed her contemplations and smiled, "Earlier, when Director Ford mentioned you were the renowned Ivy, both Yara and I were thrilled, hoping to meet you soon. Today, our wish came true."
"Thanks to Franklin, who reminded me to attend the H(Monroe) Show." Violet smiled softly, "Originally, I planned to return to the nation for career development this year, and this seemed like the right opportunity. After witnessing the Monroe Show, I really wanted to collaborate with you."
Since it was now clear, Evelyn didn’t need to be indirect anymore. After showing a surprised expression, she quickly said, "Speaking of which, Director Ford must have told you, Yara and I are in the process of registering capital. We expect to have our business license within a week."
Violet nodded, "Franklin mentioned this to me. Let me share my thoughts: even as a partnership, since you two young ladies are starting a business, I shouldn’t interfere too much. So, my idea is, you two remain the founders, and I’ll invest three million as the seed funding. As for shares, we can discuss them at the shareholders’ meeting once the company is officially established, how does that sound?"
At this moment, Franklin Ford, who had been silent, also smiled and spoke, "Well, since my sister is investing, I won’t take a share."
Upon hearing this, Evelyn and Yara exchanged a glance, seeing relief in each other’s eyes.
In fact, before coming, they were very aware that today’s purpose was to discuss a partnership. If Violet’s investment exceeded their combined total, even if Evelyn and Yara are the founders, the company would essentially belong to Violet.
But clearly, Violet was principled and considerate, not making things difficult for them.
Franklin’s abstaining from hasty investing also proved that the siblings had discussed and thought about it thoroughly beforehand.
With all said, Evelyn had nothing more to add and raised her glass first to toast Violet.
Amidst the exchanging of drinks, the atmosphere remained harmonious. Violet appeared gentle and soft but made decisions decisively, setting the contract signing date amidst their conversation.
Finally discussing the custom accessories for the Monroe Show, Violet was also very enthusiastic.
"Yara and I think that the accessories are not too difficult and can proceed alongside the investment company. Once produced, we plan to hold a small exhibition, simultaneously announcing the company’s establishment, which might also serve as an advertisement."
Even after having some wine, Evelyn remained clear-headed, with Violet nodding repeatedly, finally expressing her willingness to supply jewelry materials and craftsmen to prevent Evelyn and Yara from being overwhelmed.
A lot of issues were resolved over the meal, and both hosts and guests enjoyed themselves. As it was about to end, Violet excused herself first and asked her brother to act as a gentleman, sending the two ladies home.
"Let’s go, I wouldn’t dare disobey my sister’s orders." Franklin was the only one who hadn’t drunk at the occasion. Holding the car keys, he smiled warmly, "Are you living together now?"
Yara drank a little too much, and she was slurring her words, making Evelyn chuckle helplessly, "Director Ford, please take Yara home. I’ll text you the address. I’m still very clear-headed and can manage myself."
