Chapter 116: Chapter 116: The Stupidly Clueless Young Master Tang

Gu Yan and Wang Qi parted ways at the company entrance. Wang Qi had his own small car and left first, intending to give Gu Yan a ride, but she refused.

She couldn’t risk letting anyone know she lived in Lixin Villa District and had an unspeakable relationship with Tang Yuxiu.

She walked alone to the bus stop, checked the route, and then waited idly for the bus.

A low-key luxurious Bugatti stopped in front of her, and Gu Yan immediately recognized whose car it was.

The window rolled down, revealing Tang Yuxiu’s exquisite and handsome face.

He looked at her, his expression displeased and impatient. "Get in the car."

Gu Yan, taken aback, snapped back to reality, feeling the annoyance she had buried rising again. She turned her head to look at the road, replying coldly, "You go on your own, I’ll just take the bus."

Tang Yuxiu’s eyes narrowed slightly. What was up with this woman’s attitude towards him now?

"Don’t make me say it a third time. Get in the car!" Tang Yuxiu said in a deep voice.

Gu Yan was also stubborn. The harder he pushed, the less she wanted to comply.

She glanced at him indifferently, moved her feet, not to get in, but to move aside, perfectly keeping a car’s length away from the Bugatti.

The anger in Tang Yuxiu’s eyes became more evident. He started the car and stopped in front of her again.

"Woman, don’t test my limits! I’ll ask you one last time, are you getting in or not?"

Gu Yan knew Tang Yuxiu was already on the edge of rage, but she remained unmoved, turning her head away, clearly not intending to deal with him.

Tang Yuxiu, always a man of strong pride, had never been defied before. Furious, he gave Gu Yan a cold glare, said nothing more, and sped away.

Gu Yan watched Tang Yuxiu’s car disappear from her peripheral vision, feeling a faint sense of loss.

It wasn’t obvious; her current frustration easily overshadowed it.

She thought it was just her bad mood causing trouble, having nothing to do with Tang Yuxiu.

The bus arrived, and Gu Yan boarded, paid, and squeezed towards the last row. It was rush hour, so the bus was crowded, but she luckily found a small spot by the window in the last row.

Once seated, she ignored the bus surroundings and turned her head to look outside.

The bus started moving, and everything outside gradually receded, but Gu Yan didn’t know where her gaze was focused or what she was thinking.

She never noticed the expensive Bugatti returning. The man inside watched her board the bus, irritably giving the steering wheel a hard slap, and followed the bus all the way.

Tang Yuxiu couldn’t understand why, when everything was fine in the morning, she suddenly gave him attitude this afternoon.

Didn’t they agree to buy ingredients after work today for her to make ham sandwiches for him tomorrow!

What a vexing woman!

For the first time in his life, Young Master Tang felt so aggrieved. Why should he care about a woman’s attitude towards him?

Why was he now so foolishly following a bus?

Damn it!

Young Master Tang cursed, yet never overtook the bus. When it stopped, he stopped as well. When it moved, he started the car and followed slowly.

Tang Yuxiu felt that at this moment, he must look utterly ridiculous.

He gritted his teeth secretly, thinking that once home, she’d better give him a convincing explanation!

Thus, the scene on the road was such: an expensive Bugatti following an ordinary bus, capable of overtaking it but doing nothing, just slowly trailing behind.
