Gu Qin’s thick skin seemed impervious to words, as if she couldn’t understand them. Gu Yan was tired of it, so she decided to lay it all out clearly.

"When will you be down?"

Listening to Gu’s father defending her, Gu Yan felt warmth in her heart.
Turning to face Gu Qin, she indeed didn’t show any kindness.
"Don’t judge others by your own standards, thinking everyone is as promiscuous as you, addicted to seducing men."
Gu Qin’s face changed, somewhat exasperated, "Gu Yan, stop slandering me!"
"Slander? I don’t know how many different men I’ve seen you with, oh, and one of them I know, Xue Jiarui, you remember? He thinks women like you can only please men in bed and have no other value."
After speaking, Gu Yan silently apologized to Xue Jiarui in her heart. He hadn’t actually said such things, she just borrowed his name since among the men Gu Qin had been with, she only knew about Xue Jiarui.

Wasn’t he supposed to be waiting downstairs? How did he come up?
Gu Qin hadn’t expected that just as she was about to succeed, someone would use great force to grab her hand.
The man’s strength was tremendous, gripping her hand as if it were about to break, her face flushed in pain, her expression twisted.
But when she looked up and saw the man opposite her, she was stunned, momentarily forgetting the pain in her hand.
