Chapter 299: Chapter 309: Always Been Beautiful

At this moment, she looked at him in the mirror, and he was also looking at her. Mabel Quinn’s heartbeat suddenly accelerated; his gaze was too focused, even though they weren’t truly making eye contact now, just through the mirror.

Even when applying eye makeup, when she closed her eyes, she could still clearly feel his gaze.

When the styling was done, Mabel Quinn looked at herself in the mirror. Her long hair draped down with a slight wave, adding a touch of romantic softness. The overall makeup wasn’t heavy, tending towards a more natural look, beautifully highlighting her facial features.

"What do you think?" Kyle Kinston asked as he walked up behind Mabel Quinn.

She murmured, "I feel like I don’t look like myself anymore. You’ve made me so beautiful."

"In my eyes, you’ve always been beautiful," Kyle Kinston said with a low laugh.

Mabel Quinn’s face couldn’t help but turn red. The way the boss spoke romantic words was simply irresistible, especially as he said it with a serious expression.

The manager who gave Mabel Quinn her styling quietly exited the makeup room, closing the door behind her. The room was suddenly left with just the two of them.

"Thank you today. If it weren’t for you, Alessia Quinn would have continued to cause a scene." Mabel Quinn said.

"Is she the woman from earlier in the dressing room?" Kyle Kinston slightly furrowed his brow as he asked.

"Yes, she’s Lyra Grant’s cousin, the young lady of the Quinn Family," Mabel Quinn briefly explained the situation from before, "She’s used to being domineering, thinking I’d obediently give up the dress. How is that possible, especially since the dress was specifically prepared by you for me."

"So?" He raised an eyebrow slightly.

"I won’t let another woman wear the dress you prepared for me," she murmured, feeling as though at that moment, his gaze was swirling with emotion.

"And I won’t prepare a dress for any other woman," he said with a low laugh, pulling her into his embrace.

"You—" her voice rose but then paused, clearly unsure how to continue.

"Don’t move, it will be fine in a moment," he whispered, "If it weren’t for the fact that there’s a banquet later, I’d really like to hold you like this forever."

After who knows how long, Kyle Kinston slowly loosened his arms, as if letting go of the most precious treasure, which he cherished the most!

When he released her, she checked herself in the mirror. Fortunately, her makeup and hairstyle were hardly affected.
