Chapter 447: Chapter 446: Help Me Bring the Clothes In

"Huh? Whose suitcase is this?" Xiao Bao curiously walked over, circled around the suitcase, and then stopped in front of Xiao Qing, "Mommy, is Daddy back?"

At that remark, Xiao Qing shuddered, pressing her lips together as she shook her head at Xiao Bao.

Since no one was seen, Xiao Bao’s enthusiasm faded, and after wandering around the house, he went back to his room to nap with Big Bao.

Xiao Qing stood still in the living room, her peripheral vision taking in the men’s shoes and the suitcase; a conclusion formed in her mind: Lu Jinyang was in her room!

The shoes were here, and one pair was missing; not in Big Bao’s or Xiao Bao’s room, so they could only be in her room.

Changing her shoes, Xiao Qing crept silently into her room, opening the door. Sure enough, there lay a man on her bed — to be exact, a man deep in slumber.

His hands were tucked behind his head, clothes unchanged, socks on.

She sighed softly. How exhausted must he be to sleep like this?

In the end, she couldn’t resist; she crouched down, removed his socks, propped his head up, slid a pillow under it, adjusted the air conditioning temperature, and on top of that, pulled the blanket over him.

After doing all this and seeing he was still asleep, Xiao Qing turned around and went into the bathroom with her nightgown.

When she came out of the bathroom again, she found the man was still in the same position. Frustrated, he was sprawled across the bed, leaving her no room to sleep comfortably. Was she supposed to sleep horizontally like him?

But she quickly dismissed the idea, as she wouldn’t be able to fall asleep lying like that.

So, she hitched up the hem of her sleeping dress, tied a knot and climbed to the head of the bed, grabbed Lu Jinyang’s hand, and dragged him towards the pillow.

Perhaps due to inertia or something else, Xiao Qing’s balance wavered, and she fell straight onto Lu Jinyang.

Maybe startled by the sudden weight, the man grunted in his sleep. That grunt scared Xiao Qing; flustered, she looked for support to sit up, but the man underneath her grunted again.

"What are you doing?"

"Ah? No, nothing~" Xiao Qing felt a bit guilty and dared not mention that she disliked his sleeping posture.

Lu Jinyang: "!!!"

Although she had already moved off him, at this moment she was sitting tight against the man, her head towards his feet.

She sat up, nonchalantly pointed at the pillow, "Sleep on the pillow. I can’t sleep well with you lying like this."

Lu Jinyang looked at her with a groggy gaze, and surprisingly, sat up and went to the bathroom.

Xiao Qing: "..."

After sitting in silence for a moment and about to lie down, a deep male voice came from the bathroom, "Bring my clothes in for me."

She paused for a moment in silence, went to the living room, opened his suitcase, rummaged through it to find a set of casual clothes, closed the suitcase, and went back to the room.

She knocked on the bathroom door, which quickly opened, and she immediately turned her back.

"Put them in for me."

Xiao Qing, speechless, "Take them yourself."

"My hands are wet."

"Dry them and then take them."

"There’s no dry towel."

At that moment, Xiao Qing felt as if a flock of alpacas had flown over her head – good grief, there were several dry towels hanging in the bathroom; she had only used one when she showered, and he was saying there were no dry towels?!
