Chapter 374 Too Trash

The director shot her a triumphant glance, as if to say, don't you know who I am.

"Mama Song, we'll go to the living room and wait, you take your time feeding him!" Yun Duo'er had eaten something too salty earlier and was terribly thirsty, now she just wanted to drink some water quickly.

Mama Song nodded, "Alright, then all of you go sit in the living room. After Yi Cheng finishes eating, I'll let him interact with you for an hour. Hurry up and film whatever you want. He has art class and an Olympiad math cram school in the afternoon."

Hearing that Song Yi Cheng had so much to learn, Yun Duo'er didn't know what to say. Born into such a family, she wondered if it was a blessing or a curse for the child.

If she had to say, she'd lean towards misfortune outweighing fortune. She believed few children would want to be born into such a family.

While they were waiting in boredom, Song Yi Cheng suddenly threw a tantrum.

"I don't want to eat vegetables, vegetables taste terrible!"

"Be good, eat a little bit of vegetables, vegetables are good for your health..." Mama Song still held the vegetables to Song Yi Cheng's mouth.

However, Song Yi Cheng suddenly waved his hand, knocking over her bowl and chopsticks.

The bowl hit the floor with a loud crash, shattering into pieces.

Mama Song felt her face was lost. Angrily, she grabbed Song Yi Cheng's arm, lifted him up, and spanked him a few times on his bottom, making Song Yi Cheng cry out in pain.

"You disobedient child, you disobedient child!"

The few people there rushed forward to stop Mama Song.

"Don't stop me, I must teach him a lesson today." Mama Song was still furious.

The director shielded Song Yi Ke and said, "Children can be educated when they are disobedient. How can you hit such a big child? It will hurt their self-esteem and be bad for their physical and mental health."

"Spare the rod and spoil the child, don't interfere, I must make him remember today." Mama Song prepared to hit him again.

"You're a bad mommy!" Song Yi Cheng sobbed, his eyes filled with resentment.

This further infuriated Mama Song. In her anger, she raised her hand to slap his face.

Yun Duo'er finally stopped her, "Mama Song, don't do that. We're filming here, and if this gets out, it will have a bad influence."

Mama Song only then realized. She lowered her hand, her expression softening slightly, and then explained.

"Don't misunderstand, I rarely hit my children. I was just so angry and anxious because he refused to eat vegetables and knocked over the bowl and chopsticks that I resorted to hitting him. I don't know what's wrong with this child today, his rebellious streak is so strong. Perhaps it's because there are so many people here and he's not used to it. Yi Cheng is usually very well-behaved and obedient."

Though she spoke earnestly, no one believed her. Seeing how she resorted to hitting at the slightest displeasure, it was obvious this wasn't the first time. And from Yi Cheng's gaze just now, he seemed to have been dissatisfied with this mother for a long time.

Finally, under Mama Song's coercion, Song Yi Cheng finished his lunch.

"Yi Cheng, these aunties and uncles are going to interact with you today and film some fun videos. You don't need to sleep at noon. Art class will be at 2:30 PM. You must listen carefully to the teacher during class."

"Okay!" Song Yi Ke nodded listlessly, seemingly accustomed to being arranged this way.

Seeing her son finally being obedient, Mama Song's face lit up with joy. "You're so good. I'll buy you new clothes in a few days as a reward for your hard work in studying recently. Now, go quickly and interact with the aunties and uncles. Mom will clean up the kitchen."

Afterward, Song Yi Cheng came to the living room and sat on a single sofa.

"Yi Cheng, besides studying, what do you want to do the most? You can do it now." the director asked, wanting to film a video unrelated to studying.

Song Yi Cheng thought for a minute but couldn't come up with anything he wanted to do, so he shook his head.

Yun Duo'er immediately suggested, "How about we play the 'Water Drift' game?"

"What game is that?" Song Yi Cheng asked.

Yun Duo'er smiled and explained, "It's a simple game. You fill five cups with water and place them at intervals. Then you get a ping pong ball and place it on the first cup. Our game rule is to blow the ping pong ball from the first cup to the water surface of the last cup. The person who takes the shortest time in this process wins."

Song Yi Cheng's eyes lit up as soon as he heard this. "Hooray!" He clapped his hands excitedly.

He had never played games before; all his time was spent studying or sleeping. Playing, to him, was the most luxurious thing in the world. How could he not be excited at the prospect of finally playing a game?

"Do you have a ping pong ball at your house?" Yun Duo'er suddenly thought of a problem.

Song Yi Cheng's expression immediately dimmed. "I don't think so!" Their house was so clean that no toys could be found, except for a Rubik's Cube, which was also a game designed to develop intelligence, not a real game.

This answer was within Yun Duo'er's expectations. She didn't know what else to do and looked to the director for help.

The director pondered for a moment and thought that playing chess would be suitable. "Do you know how to play chess?" he asked.

Yun Duo'er nodded, "A little, but I'm not very skilled."

"It's just for fun, we're not competing, so let's play chess. I'll see how Yi Cheng plays." Saying this, he turned to Song Yi Cheng, "Yi Cheng, go get the chess set, and we'll play chess."

Song Yi Cheng went to his room, brought his chess set, placed it on the coffee table, and set up the board.

Yun Duo'er used to play chess frequently in middle school. Back then, few classmates could beat her. However, after entering high school, her studies became heavy, coupled with various cram schools, so she hadn't played chess again. This was her first time playing chess since graduating from high school.

Looking at the familiar arrangement, she made the first move, advancing her cannon a few steps. Song Yi Cheng countered with a knight. After a few moves, Yun Duo'er had lost two pawns and a cannon and a knight. Meanwhile, Song Yi Cheng hadn't lost a single piece, truly embodying the title of a master.

Within five minutes, Yun Duo'er was checkmated to a point where she had no escape or retreat. She had lost spectacularly.

"Your skill is too trashy, it's no fun playing with you, I don't want to play anymore." Song Yi Ke said without hesitation, not afraid of making Yun Duo'er awkward.

Yun Duo'er also knew that no matter how hard she played, she wouldn't be his opponent. However, hearing him say it so bluntly made it difficult for her to save face. This child was truly impolite. But with the cameras rolling, she couldn't show her displeasure and could only smile and say, "How about we play Gomoku? I'm pretty good at Gomoku."

"Fine, but if you lose again, I won't play games with you anymore." Song Yi Cheng agreed reluctantly.

Thus, the two started playing Gomoku.
