Chapter 94: Chapter 5: Brawl
Only seven minutes passed before the opposing side gathered thirteen people, and the Hunters behind Yan Luo starting shouting.
"You’ve got thirteen people too!"
"Fight! Fight!"
"Don’t tell me you’re going to cheat, watch me beat the hell out of you!"
And indeed, the last Hunter’s words hit the mark.
Victor Alamil, with a centipede tattoo on his head, squinted and smiled, saying, "You only said that when you’re outnumbered, you’re dogs. You didn’t limit our number."
"You—"
The Hunters on Yan Luo’s side immediately got agitated and wanted to rush over and start, but Yan Luo raised his hand to stop them.
Yan Luo looked at Victor and calmly said, "Fighting is just a means, not the purpose. By doing this, he’s actually helping us. You still have twenty-two minutes; when the time is up, start fighting."
The first half of the sentence was said to the Hunters behind him, the second half was addressed to the Crimson No.1 Hunters.
Victor’s smile faded, and he stared intently at Yan Luo.
At this moment, several Crimson No.1 Hunters indignantly said to Victor, "We came to fight the people who insulted us, but your attitude is even more disgusting than theirs. We’re not going to fight!"
After speaking, they left in anger.
Yan Luo watched those people leave, suspecting that they might be involved with the Fields Clan’s arrangement.
Their actions could lead others to believe that not all Crimson No.1 Hunters are without merit; perhaps there are good people among them as well.
Of course, that’s just Yan Luo’s speculation.
After realizing the whole incident might be part of the Li Family and Fields Clan’s hidden conflict, Yan Luo thought any situation could be related to this clandestine struggle.
There were constant curses from the surroundings; some on Victor’s side couldn’t handle the pressure and shamefully left, but others came from outside to join their ranks.
Twenty-two minutes passed, and Victor’s side had twenty-six people standing strong, each robust and well-built, matching Yan Luo’s side in stature.
All Hunters, including female Hunters, possess striking physical strength that ordinary people need to train for a year or two to match a novice Hunter.
Standing there, they were a sight to behold.
The atmosphere between the two sides was extremely tense, yet Yan Luo seemingly was unaware.
He remained in a stance with hands behind his back, unchanged, even his support leg unchanged, standing firm with parted legs on the ground, not moving for nearly an hour.
Just the sight of this presence could intimidate anyone.
"Only ten seconds left."
"Start fighting immediately after ten seconds."
Both Yan Luo and Victor gave the reminder simultaneously.
Except Victor’s volume was small, audible only to those nearby, whereas Yan Luo’s words echoed for everyone to hear.
Victor was momentarily startled and then looked at Yan Luo with a somewhat sinister gaze.
This guy is the one to take out first.
Victor raised his hand to touch his smooth head, silently making gestures for those behind him to see.
As soon as the fight started, they would charge straight at Yan Luo, ignoring others, as they were unworthy of concern.
In the oppressive and tense atmosphere, under the watchful eyes of hundreds, the ten seconds quickly went by.
On the eleventh second, Yan Luo suddenly moved, like a leopard, swiftly leaping forward faster than anyone else.
Even Victor was surprised, as Yan Luo left others behind, directly breaking away from the team.
What’s he doing?
It’s a group fight, not a solo battle.
Although it’s clear Yan Luo is skilled and courageous, Victor could only step up to meet him.
With a blast of air from his large nostrils, Victor roared, opening his arms to meet Yan Luo.
Immediately, everyone else reacted and started charging.
The first contact was between Yan Luo and Victor as countless eyes focused on their clash, unwilling to miss a moment.
Yan Luo’s arms shook off Victor’s attempted grab, both simultaneously lifting their legs for a kick, their legs clashing in mid-air.
Victor’s face changed swiftly, as the throbbing pain from the confrontation made him realize why Yan Luo dared to charge alone.
Yan Luo powered his right leg and pressed Victor’s lifted leg down, then crashed into Victor’s arms, charging towards the team of Crimson No.1 Hunters with the massive man who stood half a head taller than himself.
The two Crimson No.1 Hunters initially saw Victor’s gesture, intending to coordinate with him to suppress Yan Luo. They didn’t expect Victor couldn’t withstand Yan Luo’s assault, his large frame being pushed back by Yan Luo.
The two quickly dodged to the side, but the people behind them couldn’t get away, getting knocked down by the Victor thrown by Yan Luo.
Wow!!!
The surroundings erupted with cheers and shouts like a tidal wave; everyone was shocked and delighted by Yan Luo’s performance.
Yan Luo’s offensive wasn’t over yet. After Victor was thrown, the two Hunters following closely behind him became Yan Luo’s primary targets.
Torsioning his ankle, Yan Luo propelled his body to the left.
The Hunter standing on Yan Luo’s left turned pale, swinging a punch at Yan Luo’s head, but Yan Luo dodged it lightly with a tilt of his head.
The fist brushed past his cheek, Yan Luo lifted his hands, grabbed the opposing arm, applied a bit of force, and dislocated the arm’s joint.
At the same time, Yan Luo swept out a leg, knocking his target down, and pressed his body onto him, using his weight to dislocate the shoulder joint.
The Hunter pressed by Yan Luo on the ground cried out in pain, yet his legs didn’t stop, arching his body like a scorpion and thrusting his foot towards Yan Luo’s head.
His body’s flexibility allowed him to make this move!
Another Hunter seized the moment to rush forward, spreading his arms to capture Yan Luo.
Yan Luo unexpectedly let go, leaned back, and curled up. He sprang his body like a coil, kicking towards the Hunter charging from behind.
The Hunter was kicked by Yan Luo, while the Hunter pressed on the ground took the chance to roll up, only to see Yan Luo already somersaulting and standing, dashing towards him, his hefty right leg swinging halfway.
He couldn’t even curse before being kicked away by Yan Luo.
At this point, with others’ help, Victor stood up to see both groups of Hunters colliding into a brawl.
Yan Luo was like a war chariot, crashing through the crowd, relying on his outstanding combat skills and awareness, not being knocked down once.
Even if someone hugged him from behind, he could flip them over and land them on the ground, then get up to attack others.
Victor, after taking a few breaths, feeling his breath smoothen, charged forward to face Yan Luo.
Others facing Yan Luo could only get beaten, and Victor was no different; he was just more resistant to hits compared to others.
If only others could deal with the opposing Hunters and join him in besieging Yan Luo, they would win!
Yan Luo knew this as well. Seeing Victor charge forward, he suddenly struck out a palm, at least a third faster than before.
Before Victor could react, Yan Luo’s palm already landed on his chest.
Victor’s body flew backward, knocking down two Crimson No.1 Hunters.
The Crimson No.2 Hunter who was brawling with those two Hunters paused, looked over to the direction Victor was knocked into, saw Yan Luo’s figure, and shouted excitedly, "Thanks, boss!"
Yan Luo controlled his strength, avoiding exploding an opponent’s head or chest, instead only beating them black and blue.
The fight lasted for three and a half minutes, with casualties on both sides, but Crimson No.1 Hunters fell more due to Yan Luo’s timely interventions saving his teammates.
Therefore, even if Crimson No.1 Hunters outnumbered them twofold, more of their members were lying down unable to get up.
Yan Luo wiped the corner of his mouth, looking at those still standing opponents and asked, "Still want to fight?"
The already excited Crimson No.2 Hunters were forcibly calmed by him. Opposite them, only four Crimson No.1 Hunters remained.
Upon hearing Yan Luo, they shook their heads quickly, "No more, no more."
Not to mention Victor, who couldn’t even get up from the ground, what fight could they put up?
Getting this response, Yan Luo nodded, pointing to the direction of the Abyss Entrance, delivering a harsh warning: "Three-day limit, all you Crimson No.1 Hunters get out of Crimson No.2, or I’ll beat you every time I see you! Crimson No.2 doesn’t welcome those who don’t follow the rules, and because we can’t ensure all you Hunters will follow the rules, from today onwards, except for supplies, Crimson No.1 Hunters are banned from coming to Crimson No.2!"
These words ignited enthusiastic cheers from the surrounding people, who shouted:
"Yan Luo is right! Get out, get out!"
"Crimson No.1 people are not welcome here!"
"Yan Luo, we respect and love you!"
The Crimson No.1 Hunters looked at each other, not daring to argue amidst the overwhelming cheers, only bowing in frustration, helping each other leave the park.
Watching their disheartened departure, Yan Luo let out two heavy breaths from his nose and lowered his eyes.
All are just pawns...
Those three might be the most innocent victims, merely a cost to be paid in this struggle...
Yan Luo’s hands clenched tightly by his sides, then he swung a fist towards the sky, turned to lift the teammates fallen on the ground, and left with his head held high.
