Yang Chuxia grumbled and turned her head to see her younger sisters, Yang Xiayun and Dongxue, still discussing whose mouth would taste better. She rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen.
"Mom, do you need any help?" Noticing Ms.Wang was still cooking, Yang Chuxia asked.
"No need, there’s not much left to do. I’ll just finish this last dish and make some soup," Ms. Wang replied while stirring her wok.
"Oh"
Yang Chuxia nodded and stood in the kitchen for a while, but seeing there was nothing for her to do, she went to the courtyard.
Ms. Wang finished the last dish and the soup, then called the children to come to eat.
For some reason, the sisters Yang Xiayun and Yang Dongxue were picking on Yang Chuxia.
They were determined to get to the bottom of the "mouth" issue.
"Sister, is your mouth tasty?" Yang Xiayun asked.
Yang Chuxia hesitated for a moment and wanted to throw the girl out. But just then, she saw Ms. Wang from the corner of her eye. Fortunately, Ms. Wang did not react much to the question.
She breathed a sigh of relief and was about to glare at the little girl to shut her up when another girl chipped in, "Sister, whose mouth is tastier, yours or Brother Zi’an’s?"
This time, Ms. Wang finally reacted, looking suspiciously at Yang Chuxia for several moments.
"Sister?" Yang Dongxue called out when she didn’t answer, and was about to ask again when Ye Zi’an came in from outside.
"Aunt, is the soup ready to serve?"
"Yes!" Seeing Ye Zi’an, Ms. Wang went to fetch a soup bowl and asked, "Did they finish eating already? Why are you serving soup now?"

Ye Zi’an nodded, wrapped the cloth around the edge of the bowl, and carried it out. Yang Chuxia took the opportunity to slip out as well.
She thought she couldn’t be in the same room as those two annoying girls any longer, or the conversation would never end.
"Why are you out here too, Xiaxia?" Ye Zi’an asked, noticing her following him. "Did you finish eating?"
"Yes!" Yang Chuxia replied, then thought about the money for the land purchase and said, "After you finish eating, I’ll give you the money."
"Okay, I’ll come to find you later." With that, Ye Zi’an went back inside with the soup.
After lunch, Broker Liu didn’t stay long and left after a short rest, saying he would come back tomorrow to go with them to Li’s Village to pay for the land and get the deed.
After Liu left, Yang Dachuan went to the fields, and Ye Zi’an, who had gotten the money from Yang Chuxia, went with him.
That evening, after learning that their teacher was selling land during the day, the two brothers, Yang Qingrui and Zi’an, came back and told everyone that school would close at the end of the month.
"Sister, Teacher Li recommended me and my brother to the town school." Yang Qingrui said as soon as he got home.
"I know. Our family bought some land today, and it’s Teacher Li’s land," Yang Chuxia replied.
Yang Qingrui nodded, "Sister, if we go to school in town, I’m afraid we won’t be able to come home every day."
"It’s no problem; you can’t live at school, but our family’s shop has space. You and Qingrui can stay at Artistry Pavilion," Yang Chuxia reassured him.
"But if I go to town, won’t Brother Zi’an be sleeping alone every night?" Yang Qingrui fretted a bit.
