Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Do You Prefer Movie Stars or Pretty Boys?
"You’re the one who’s small!" Kenny immediately bristled, then puffed out his little chest provocatively, "If you have guts, let’s see who can pee farther. You definitely can’t beat me!"
He’s never lost in this yet!
"What will you do if you lose?"
"Kenny never loses. Kenny is short but powerful, top-notch!"
"Well, mainly short."
"...Don’t get cocky! I’ll call someone to beat you up!!"
Listening at the door to this childish conversation, Mark Joyce couldn’t help but wipe his forehead in embarrassment.
When did the CEO become so childish, snatching toys from kids and even competing in... that? It’s hard to watch.
How can he be so competitive with a child?
So, in the end, this competition concluded with Kenny angrily pulling up his pants and leaving the restroom.
Sutton Jennings happened to finish his call and came over, seeing Kenny’s angry face, he asked, "What happened? Did someone bully you?"
"Uncle Jennings!" With a look of having finally found a family member, Kenny rushed over, hugged Sutton, and blinked his big eyes, "Can you lend your electronic laser gun to Kenny? Kenny wants to blast that person!"
Sutton Jennings: "..."
It was just a bathroom trip, what happened to the kid??
When Ann Vaughn heard about this from Sutton Jennings, she almost laughed herself to tears.
Her son is just too much. How can going to the bathroom turn into a competition? He can’t even take a break for a moment.
And after losing, he actually wanted to blow up that guy, hahaha.
Since Kenny has been very sensible since he was a child, he would occasionally act spoiled and ask for hugs in front of her, no different from any three-year-old.
But no one knows her child like a mother does. Ann Vaughn sometimes had the feeling that Kenny actually knows everything, understands everything, and isn’t like an ordinary child.
So hearing about Kenny’s childish antics, Ann Vaughn felt a bit relieved.
She hopes Kenny grows up carefree, without understanding too much, as it’s easy to get hurt.
"Mommy, stop laughing!" Kenny quickly covered Ann Vaughn’s mouth with his chubby little hands, feeling both angry and aggrieved, "That person bullied a child, he’s shameless."
Although he’s small now, but, but he’ll definitely grow bigger!
Bigger than that face-loser!
Ann Vaughn: "Hahaha."
Receiving merciless teasing from his own mother, Kenny sulked, head down, all the way, imagining ways to jab that man’s little voodoo doll.
Just as they walked out of the airport terminal, a red Ferrari stopped in front of them.
The car door opened, and a fashionable, sharp-looking woman wearing sunglasses came over and suddenly hugged Ann Vaughn.
"Sweetie, I’ve missed you to death!!"
Ann Vaughn hugged her back briefly, her red lips curled into a smile with shallow dimples, "Susie, long time no see."
"It’s been more than just long, it’s been four years!" Susie hummed twice, rubbing against Ann Vaughn’s cheek, reluctant to let go. Then she saw the Little Dumpling nearby, and her eyes lit up brilliantly.
"J.B., do you still remember your godmother?"
"Godmother is so pretty, just one look and I can’t forget." J.B. lifted his little head and said sweetly.
"Ah!! What a little angel!" Susie was once again struck in the heart, wanting to sneak the Little Dumpling back to her home!
"This isn’t the place to catch up. Let’s get in the car first." Sutton Jennings reminded.
Susie then managed to resist the urge to hug the Little Dumpling, helping them put their luggage in the trunk.
Sutton Jennings’s pickup had already arrived, so he didn’t take Susie’s car.
The scenery outside the car window flashed by familiar yet somewhat unfamiliar, as if nothing had changed, yet everything had changed.
"J.B., godmother is going to take you for dinner now. What do you want to eat?" Susie seemed to be in a particularly good mood. Even her habit of driving recklessly was changed, driving steadily on the road.
"Whatever Mommy wants to eat is what J.B. wants to eat." J.B. sat in the back seat, placing his chubby little hands on the seat, totally doting on his mom.
"Ah," Susie exclaimed, giving Ann Vaughn a wistful look, "You’re making me want to have a son of my own to play with."
Hearing this, Ann Vaughn laughed, "Then settle down, get married, and you’ll have children eventually."
Back then, she didn’t tell anyone about her survival and leaving S Country, except for Susie, and Sutton Jennings found out by accident.
These years, Susie seemed to have let loose, with a new male model today, a fresh young face tomorrow, a handsome mature guy the day after; almost nonchalant about preference, changing two a day.
But it’s not even about having one at a time; she’s dating several at the same time.
Commonly known as having her feet in several boats.
Ann Vaughn doesn’t know what happened to Susie to change from someone who initially longed for love to her current self.
She often asked Susie in video chats, but Susie always hesitated to answer.
However, Ann Vaughn could somewhat guess it was related to Silas Master Moore.
Just as she finished speaking, Susie’s phone rang.
Putting on her Bluetooth headset, Susie answered the call with an ease, "Hey, babe?"
"Darling, when will you come see me?" A rather sappy male voice echoed in the car.
"I’m busy right now, I’ll come see you when I have time, be good."
"Alright then, don’t forget what you promised me."
"How could I forget our agreement?" Susie replied and was going to continue the banter but remembered J.B. was in the car, so she quickly stopped, "I won’t talk anymore, I’m busy."
And she ended the call.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Ann Vaughn accidentally glanced at Susie’s contact list, unable to resist a twitch of the lips.
Just look at what she saw?
A whole list of "babe" followed by different numbers, like they’re national spy codes, simply jaw-dropping.
"Susie, what’s with this..." Ann Vaughn was genuinely stunned by her approach.
"There are so many of them, how can I remember who’s who? So I just call them all babe, otherwise, remembering their names makes my head spin." Susie said bluntly, then asked, "Annie, do you like superstars or fresh young meats? I can..."
"No, I can’t handle such blessings."
Susie had just begun to snicker, when from the backseat came an angelic voice asking, "Godmother, why do you want to introduce fresh meat to Mommy? Can’t you buy it at the supermarket?"
Seeing Susie’s expression freeze, Ann Vaughn burst out laughing.
Serves you right, being reprimanded by her Kenny!
The benefit of this question was that all the way through dinner and back to the hotel, Susie didn’t dare introduce any more handsome guys to Kenny’s beloved mommy in front of him.
The hotel had hot springs; Sherry chose to rest in the hotel due to her age, while Ann Vaughn and Kenny went to the hot springs with Susie.
It was Kenny’s first time soaking in a hot spring, and he was having so much fun playing with his floatie at the side.
Ann Vaughn leaned against the edge of the hot spring pool, staring at the starry sky above, and sighed with relief, "Ah, abroad I was hiding from those people every day, I never got to relax like this."
