Chapter 441: Chapter 441: Confinement
Sebastian Blackwood said at this moment, "No need to avoid, let her watch."
This wound was her doing. If she hadn’t suddenly jumped, Ethan Ford’s bullet would never have hit him.
Ivy Kensington understood what he meant and kept her head down in silence.
"Come here."
Sebastian spoke out, but without waiting for her to respond, he directly pulled her by his side, then tightly clasped her palm.
Perhaps due to excessive blood loss, Sebastian’s large hand was ice-cold, the chill seemed to penetrate her palm straight to the depths of her heart. Reflexively, she used her other hand to grasp his tightly in return.
Sebastian glanced at her, and a faint smile curled at the corner of his mouth.
The accompanying doctor, however, was sweating buckets as he treated Sebastian’s wound.
"Click."
The silver-grey bullet was extracted and placed in a tray.
Without an anesthetic, Sebastian endured the pain raw, and Ivy clearly saw that due to the intense pain, the muscles all over his body were distinctly tense, his usually indifferent features finally showing slight emotion.
It was clear how much pain he was in.
In the end, Ivy couldn’t bear to watch any longer. Once the doctor wrapped his arm with gauze, she quickly got up and ran to the trash can, vomiting once more.
The pain in her stomach felt like it was on fire.
"With just this bit of ability, you still dared to jump off the plane."
Sebastian’s pale lips spoke words that were slightly cutting.
Ivy recovered her composure, gave him a glare, and said, "Are you satisfied now? Let me go back."
Go back?
Heh.
Sebastian sneered, bringing her here with no intention to let her leave.
Quickly, Owen Rhodes approached, holding a black cloth strip in his hands, "Master Blackwood, we are about to land."
Sebastian made a sound of acknowledgment, reached out to take the cloth strip from him, and said to Ivy, "Close your eyes."
What?
Ivy looked at him warily, wondering what he intended to do.
Instinctively, Ivy looked outside and seemed to see a massive island...
"Sebastian Blackwood, where have you taken me?"
This place, she had never seen before.
Sebastian smiled deeply, his tall figure standing, as he leaned down and covered her eyes with the cloth strip single-handedly.
"What are you doing?"
Ivy tried to pull it off, but he had restricted her hands, leaving her no choice but to comply, remaining still.
Not long after.
The sound of the helicopter landing reached them, but the black cloth strip over Ivy’s eyes was still not removed.
Sebastian held her shoulder, striding forward.
"Master Blackwood."
The sound of footsteps on wooden floors, and many servants approached from afar.
Ivy inhaled lightly, sensing that the air here was completely different from Veridia, a natural scent. She guessed they were in an outlying area.
Faintly, she could even smell the fragrance of many herbs.
Ivy’s hand at her side tightened slightly.
"Take her to the room."
Sebastian said in a low voice, and then Ivy felt his presence gradually fading away.
Soon, a servant walked up to her, holding her arm, leading her to another place.
"Miss Kensington, if you need anything, please let us know in time."
The black cloth strip over her eyes was removed, and Ivy saw dozens of servants standing before her, while she was seated in a completely enclosed room without even a small window.
In an instant, a surge of overwhelming anger rose in Ivy’s heart.
Sebastian Blackwood, that bastard, does he plan to imprison her?
