Chapter 461: Chapter 461: One Day You Will Regret It
When Ivy Kensington was getting Ginny and Cody into the car, she stumbled accidentally, and Cody almost slipped from her grasp, nearly hitting his little head on the seat base.
"Cody."
Ivy was startled and instinctively reached out to grab Cody.
Unexpectedly, a pair of arms were faster than her, as Sebastian Blackwood leaned slightly and swiftly pulled the little guy into his embrace.
Cody had been sleeping soundly, but the sudden movement caused him to wake up groggily.
When he first saw Sebastian, the little boy thought he was dreaming.
He pouted angrily at first, then in a whimpering, childish voice said, "Daddy’s a meanie, don’t bully Mommy anymore."
After speaking, Cody’s chubby little hand rubbed his eyes, and his small face snuggled against Sebastian’s chest as he fell back asleep.
Ivy was so shocked by this scene that her heart almost stopped.
Cody actually called Sebastian "Daddy"...
At the moment Cody called out "Daddy," Sebastian’s cold, handsome face showed a slight moment of surprise.
His cold, hard heart suddenly softened a little.
When he snapped back to his senses, he found the situation to be ironic.
He slightly raised his thin eyelids and looked at Ivy expressionlessly, coldly saying, "To seek my forgiveness, you deliberately taught the child to call me Daddy. Ivy, you’re really cheap."
Ivy’s face turned slightly pale because of his words, and she bit her lip tightly.
This bastard!
Taking a deep breath, she said, "Rest assured, Cody just got it wrong. I’d never teach them to recognize you as Daddy, you don’t even deserve it!"
This damned woman, is she trying to drive him crazy?
Sebastian’s handsome features instantly turned cold and sullen; he should just throw Cody back into Ivy’s arms and be done with it.
However, holding the little one’s soft body in his arms felt special, and Sebastian didn’t move for a moment.
Ivy had no idea what he intended to do, so she spoke up, "If you want revenge on me, then take it out on me, but don’t hurt the children, or you’ll end up regretting it someday."
These words caused the corners of Sebastian’s mouth to turn down even more.
"You know you’ve wronged me and must accept my retaliation, so you better not anger me further."
He cast a cold glance at Ivy, with a warning tone.
Ivy turned her gaze away, focusing on holding Ginny in her arms, ignoring him.
When they arrived at Blackwood Manor.
Sebastian carried Cody all the way inside. Before getting out of the car, he casually intended to hand Cody over to Owen Rhodes.
Yet the little guy seemed to have a sense of it, clutching him tightly, unwilling to let go.
"Master Blackwood, it seems he wants you to hold him."
Owen quietly observed Sebastian’s expression and softly remarked.
Sebastian’s demeanor was indifferent, giving no clear indication of his attitude towards Cody, but it was much better than before in the hospital.
"I’ll hold him," Ivy sighed inwardly. Sebastian didn’t believe Cody was his child, and carrying him all the way back to the manor was already a great mercy.
However, Sebastian gave a bland glance at Ginny in her arms, lightly saying, "Just make sure to hold onto the one in your arms."
As if indicating that Ivy was worrying too much.
Ivy: "..."
There were plenty of rooms in Blackwood Manor, and Mrs. Langley had already prepared three of them.
With Cody in his arms, Sebastian entered one of the rooms. As he was about to leave after placing Cody on the bed, Cody clung tightly to his arm.
Cody, with his big round eyes wide open, asked in a very aggrieved voice, "Why do you bully Mommy?"
The scene at the hospital where Sebastian had grabbed Ivy by the neck left a shadow in Cody’s mind, and now the little guy couldn’t help but ask.
