Chapter 402: Can Only Submit to Me

Chapter 402: Chapter 402: Can Only Submit to Me

Ivy Kensington didn’t want to talk about it anymore and went upstairs holding Ginny and Cody.

As soon as she put the little ones on the bed, a familiar figure walked into the room from the hallway.

It was Sebastian Blackwood?!

Ivy was shocked. The two of them had already said so much today, yet he still came.

"Ivy, if you dare retaliate against me, then you must withstand the counterattack I give you."

Sebastian’s aura was fierce. With one long stride, he trapped Ivy in his arms.

"Ugh, what are you doing..."

Unprepared, Ivy found herself pinned at the bedside by the man, her wrists held tight.

In the soft, spacious bed, their silhouettes, one large and one small, sank into it completely.

Ivy was taken aback; she had underestimated Sebastian!

Since childhood, this man was a favored son of destiny; how could he easily let her off?

Even if she had retaliated, he would find a hundred, even a thousand ways to pay it back!

"Remember, between us, only I can call it an end."

Sebastian pinched Ivy’s delicate chin, the emotions in his eyes flickered before finally solidifying into a strong, domineering presence!

Ivy was furious and lunged towards him, biting: "Why, who do you think you are..."

As she spoke, Sebastian abruptly kissed her.

"Bastard..."

Infuriated, Ivy punched and kicked him, but the man’s natural strength overpowered hers. No matter how she struggled, Sebastian could effortlessly subdue her.

"Ivy, you are my woman and can only submit to me."

His lips were bitten until they bled, yet he nonchalantly wiped it away with his fingertip, his smile roguish and arrogant.

What an arrogant bastard!

Ivy pressed her lips tight, staring at him angrily, "Dream on!"

She refused to submit to him; this game wasn’t over yet. Who would lose or win was still uncertain!

The next day.

When Ivy woke up, her mouth was still slightly hurting. As she brushed her teeth, she recalled the things Sebastian had said, and a surge of anger filled her heart.

This man was as arrogant as ever, always thinking everything was under his control...

"Ding."

The melodious ringtone of her phone rang; it was Wayne Ward calling, "Junior Sister Ivy, come to the laboratory quickly, Nina Shaw won an award!"

Won an award?

Ivy pondered for a moment, remembered something, and then answered yes before heading to the laboratory.

Laboratory.

Nina Shaw’s achievement of being named the top emerging Herbalist was spreading like wildfire across the internet.

This was unprecedented in all of Celestia!

Because no one from Celestia had ever won any award granted by the Global Herbology Association, Nina Shaw was the first!

In no time, Nina’s reputation, which had plummeted due to losing a lawsuit last night, surged once again.

[Oh my god, Nina Shaw is so incredible, even Master Gard never won this award.]

[I have to say, Nina is probably the most impressive figure in the Herbalist field in Celestia now, absolutely amazing, really brought honor to our country!]

The frustration from losing the lawsuit last night was completely swept away for Nina at this moment.

"Respected Miss Nina Shaw, tomorrow is our award ceremony, please be sure to attend on time."

The Herbalist Association personally sent someone over to remind her again, underscoring how important Nina was to them.

With a smile, Nina answered, "I will definitely attend on time."

As people left, half of the laboratory gathered around Nina, praising and congratulating her: "Nina, we never thought you’d actually win the award in the end."

Everybody previously thought that Nina was just going through the motions and that it was impossible for her to win, especially since no one from Celestia had ever won any award before. But who knew, she indeed won the award in the end.
