A sigh.
It made Chen Yu chuckle.
Was he really that tired? It was just work from the cave system, after all.
Seeing how hard the cave system reminder was working,
Chen Yu didn't torment it further and looked down at the magic cloak in his hands.
Crafted from pure elemental energy.
His touch could barely feel any weight; the entire cloak was like gossamer, thin as a cicada's wing.
"With this, I won't get stung anymore?"
He muttered to himself.
Chen Yu then draped the cloak over himself.
[Cave System Reminder: Magic Camouflage Skill +1]
Huh?
Magic Camouflage.
A skill.
This cloak actually came with a skill.
"How do I use it?"
Chen Yu mumbled.
After waiting for a while and not receiving a response from the cave system reminder, Chen Yu called out again.
"Stop sleeping, get up and work!"
[So annoying]
That was more like it.
Seeing the cave system reminder's revitalized spirit, Chen Yu couldn't help but grin.
"How do I use Magic Camouflage?"
[Mentally recite the command. After casting, you will blend with your surroundings. You can cast it once every 24 hours. The duration of the spell is equivalent to your level in minutes.]
An invisibility cloak.
Chen Yu's heart immediately understood.
This meant that the supposed invulnerability to stings wasn't about ignoring the hornet's stingers, but rather that casting the spell would make the hornets unable to perceive him.
This way, he could sneak up to the bee nests and steal honey.
Being able to turn invisible.
This cloak had many more uses.
Chen Yu's magic cloak was of Rare grade, meaning he could cast the spell for 6 minutes.
Don't underestimate these 6 minutes.
So much could be accomplished within those 6 minutes.
As for what to do—
Heh heh heh, you figure it out.
Wearing the magic cloak, Chen Yu chose not to cast the spell.
The skill reset every 24 hours.
If he used it now, how would he go to the bee nests to collect honey later?
"Kuka!" kAnshu伍.ξà
Chen Yu called out, and Kuka, carrying the mining pick, ran over, drenched in sweat.
"Boss."
After prolonged periods of logging and mining,
The once scrawny Kuka now looked much more robust. It was hard to tell he was once an apprentice mage.
"Have we finished mining this area?" Chen Yu looked around. Kuka raised a hand to wipe the sweat from his face. "Done."
"All set."
Chen Yu then quickly called over the other beasts.
"Let's go watch the show."
"What show!"
Instantly, Kuka and the others' eyes lit up. Who in the world wouldn't enjoy watching a spectacle?
Even the black donkey's eyes widened, looking thoroughly interested.
Hei Dou colorfully described the scene they had just witnessed next door. Chen Yu led them to the shimmering portal.
"Little demon, don't just stand there. Are they fighting inside?"
"Hey, what's going on with you?!"
Suddenly, a whisper reached Chen Yu's ears.
Hearing the angry chiding, Chen Yu turned back in surprise. He saw a small demon girl, no bigger than his palm, dressed in black leather, with two small horns on her head, holding a pitchfork.
She stood with one hand on her hip, pointing her other finger at Chen Yu's nose.
She was shouting in exasperation.
"Is this my job? You keep calling me. Do you all think I'm easy to bully, huh?!" The little demon frowned, her nose wrinkled as she reprimanded him.
Chen Yu stared intently at this miniature demon.
"Cave System Reminder?"
"What?!" The little demon glared fiercely, her hands on her hips, her cheeks puffed out into two little meat buns.
Chen Yu reached out and poked one of the little demon's meat buns.
It had a tangible feel!
Feeling the texture on his finger, Chen Yu was stunned for a long time.
Unbeknownst to him, the little demon, floating beside him and holding the devil's trident, was also stunned.
"Huh?"
She looked down at herself in surprise, then suddenly looked up.
"How did I get out?"
"Yeah, how did you get out!" Chen Yu blinked in confusion. "Aren't you the cave system reminder in my wristband? How do you have a physical body?"
Astonished!
Chen Yu knew the cave system reminder had its own thoughts and consciousness.
That was understandable.
He had awakened the Gluttony Soul, so what else could he not accept?
This was a magical world; everything was reasonable.
The problem was—
This cave system reminder also had a physical body.
Judging by the little demon's expression, she seemed equally surprised.
"I'm out! I'm actually out!" The little demon stared at the trident in her hand, her face suddenly erupting with joy. "Hahaha, from now on, this world belongs to me, Barbara! Wahaha... Ouch."
The little demon, flying around with her trident, bumped into a magic barrier with a thud.
The impact left her a bit dazed.
She placed a hand on her hip, held the trident forward, and took another step.
She was repelled.
She took a step, was repelled.
She took a step, and was repelled again.

Chen Yu, standing before the portal, tilted his head and watched her silently.
"What is she saying?"
"Elvish. I don't understand it very well," Hei Dou said, wagging his tail. "Judging by her expression, she's probably not saying anything nice."
"She's an elf?"
"Yes."
None of Chen Yu or the others interrupted the little demon's outburst. They watched as she stood with her hands on her hips, muttering incomprehensible words.
Holding the small trident, she stubbornly tried to walk outwards like a bull.
Every few steps, she was repelled.
Getting tired of standing, Chen Yu decided to stretch his legs.
After only a couple of steps—
He saw the little demon's face pressed against the magic barrier, being pushed forward by the barrier along with Chen Yu.
Oh?!
Chen Yu blinked.
Noticing this, Chen Yu stopped. The little demon also stopped. He tentatively took a couple more steps forward, and the barrier again pushed the little demon to follow Chen Yu's footsteps.
ヽ(`Д´)ノ: "Don't go!"
Hearing the little demon's cry, Chen Yu finally stopped.
The little demon floated in front of Chen Yu.
She scrunched up her little face, her large eyes fixed on Chen Yu for a long time.
"Servant!"
"Who's your servant? Have you been drinking fake wine?" Chen Yu scoffed. "It's clear you can't leave my side by more than a meter. Who's the master and who's the servant, don't you understand?"
"I am the Demon King, and you are my servant!"
"Heh..."
ヽ(`Д´)ノ: "You are the servant!!!"
"Hurry up and be quiet, Your Majesty the Demon King." Chen Yu said with a sigh of exasperation. "What kind of bacteria does a demon king like you rule over?"
ヽ(`Д´)ノ: "I am the great Demon King Barbara! From now on, you... *mumble*..."
Before the little demon could finish, Chen Yu covered her mouth with a finger.
"Stop shouting. Fine, I'll let you be the Demon King."
Chen Yu was eager to watch the spectacle.
If they delayed any longer, the hornet vs. kobold show would end, and where would he find any more entertainment?
"You're wise!"
The little demon put her hands on her hips, landing proudly on Chen Yu's shoulder.
"Can we go in now, great... Abba Abba Demon King?" Chen Yu blinked.
"Who's Abba Abba? I'm Barbara!" The little demon floated up, glaring angrily, and retorted, "Wait, I need to go and annoy that..."
"Go!"
Chen Yu didn't even wait for her to finish speaking. He stepped directly into the portal.
ヽ(`Д´)ノ: "You damn servant, Ow..."
The little demon, floating outside the portal, was suddenly hit by the invisible magic barrier with a thud. She transformed into a beam of light and vanished into the portal.
