Chapter 654: Apology
"Please give us another chance," Xiao Chenye pleaded with a polite and humble attitude. With his hands clenched tightly on his lap, he said to Bai Jixuan, "I know that my lady has caused a lot of trouble for Miss Bai, but I will try to control her better in the future. There will be no more tantrums from our side; we will also do our jobs on time. Just let our young master stay in this safe base."
Inside the room, Fu Wan also placed her ear on the door and eavesdropped on the conversation that was going on outside. Inwardly, she cursed Bai Meiyue for being too petty. She only said a few words, and that woman actually sent her brother to kick her out. How dare she!

She was not going to let Bai Meiyue off.
Bai Jixuan sighed. He shook his head and said to Xiao Chenye, "Forgive me for being rude, Xiao Chenye. But we are done with the antics of your young lady. Either tell her to say these words to me or ask her to start packing her bags; unless she apologises to my sister, she can get lost. We are not afraid of the Bai family. You might have a lot of resources, but Yueyue and Master Lei are no novices either; we also have many high-ranking ability users. We can protect our safe base."
Fu Wan was shocked. She banged on the door and stubbornly said, "I am not going to apologise to Bai Meiyue!"
"Then you can get lost." Bai Jixuan glanced at the door and stated coldly. "I never said that your only option is that have to apologise; since your spine is so unbendable, pack your bags and leave. We will prepare the incubator box for your son. Anyway, we only promised Fox that we will keep you here until you are done giving birth. Inside the room, Fu Wan was panicking. She didn’t want to leave. This place was indeed much better than the safe base where Fox was staying. At least there were no mutated bugs. She could live in peace here.
Biting her thumbnail, she decided to act like a rogue. "I am not going! It’s not like you can throw me out."
"You want to try that!?" Bai Jixuan raised his hand and banged on the door. His knock was harder than Fu Wan’s, leaving a crack in the wooden door. Fu Wan jumped in the air and eyed the door with an aggrieved look on her face. She cried to Xiao Chenye, "What are you doing? Can you not see that he is bullying me?!"
She felt really wronged. First, who knows what kind of treatment Bai Meiyue gave her? It left her bleeding day in and day out, and then they even sent her such a big bill to pay. So what if she cursed the woman a few times? She didn’t say anything wrong. Instead of sympathising with her, they were kicking her out. This was too much.
Xiao Chenye was speechless. He couldn’t understand why Fu Wan couldn’t see through the situation. They were the ones who were living in someone else’s house; there was nothing wrong with bowing their heads every now and then. Why was Fu Wan acting so stubborn!?

Xiao Chenye: "..." I didn’t even say anything.
Sighing, he turned to look at the guard behind him. Getting the permission that the guards were waiting for, the guard nodded and then walked out of the mansion. He glanced at Bai Jixuan, thinking that the man was going to stop him, but Bai Jixuan didn’t say a word. This proved that Bai Meiyue didn’t really want to send Fi Wan away. As long as the woman bowed her head and apologised, this matter would come to an end, but who would have expected that Fu Wan would rather court death than agree with Bai Meiyue?
The guard rushed to the mansion where Old Master Bai lived.
When Old Master Bai saw the guard who was responsible for taking care of Fu Wan rushing into his mansion, he wanted to hide. Because he had long learnt his lesson. As long as the matter was related to Fu Wan, it was never going to be good news. And sure enough, when he heard what the guard told him, he was speechless. This woman, she really didn’t let a day pass without any trouble?
"You all, how many times have I told you to lock that woman up?" Old Master Bai got to his feet and followed the man to the mansion where Fu Wan lived with the rest of the bodyguards. When Bai Jixuan saw Old Master Bai, he nodded at him.
Old Master Bai felt a bit embarrassed when he saw Bia Jixuan. Honestly, they were not even asking a lot from Fu Wan and yet the woman was causing trouble for no reason.
He walked over to the door and knocked on it.
"I told you that I am not going to apologise to that bitch! You can forget about it!" Annoyed with the continuous knocking, Fu Wan cursed out loud.
When Bai Jixuan heard Fu Wan curse Bai Meiyue again, he was about to break down the door, but was stopped by Old Master Bai.
Old Master Bai then turned to look at the closed door. He cleared his throat and said to Fu Wan, "You better open this door and apologise to Yueyue! She saved your life. If she is a bitch, then what are you?"
