Chapter 368 Mu Yinyin, I've Been Kind Enough

“What gives you the right?”

Fu Siye’s commanding tone made Mu Yinyin extremely displeased. Who did he think he was?

However, Fu Siye provided a reasonable explanation: “Simply because you are now a designer affiliated with Lu’s Group, and I have some questions regarding your design that I wish to discuss with Miss Mu in person.”

Mu Yinyin wasn’t sure if it was her imagination, but she thought she detected a hint of amusement in Fu Siye’s voice. She could even picture his expression right now. He must be incredibly obnoxious.

Without receiving an answer from Mu Yinyin, Fu Siye lightly tapped his fingertips on the tabletop. The muffled sound carried through the phone along with his voice. “Do you have any other questions?”

Mu Yinyin was beginning to suspect that the poison in Fu Siye’s system had spread directly through his veins to his brain. Otherwise, why did every single word he spoke make her so annoyed? She also knew that Fu Siye was likely picking a fight with her deliberately, whether it was his initiative to cooperate with Lu’s Group or this call he was making now.

“I believe Miss Mu is a very punctual person. In twenty minutes, I expect to see you at Fu’s Group.” After saying this, Fu Siye hung up the phone, leaving Mu Yinyin with the annoying dial tone.

“Who was that? Did something happen?”

Seeing Mu Yinyin’s unhappy expression as she put down her phone, several people immediately stopped their playful banter and asked. Mu Yinyin shook her head, “Perhaps there’s an issue with the initial design draft. Fu Siye asked me to go over.”

Jiang Ling frowned deeply, his voice laced with anger, “What kind of issue could there be? Lu’s Group already gave their satisfactory feedback. Only Fu’s Group has been slow to respond, and now they’re asking you to go over?”

“That scumbag Fu Siye is definitely trying to make things difficult for you, Yinyin!” Gu Xiaoqi was also furious, hating Fu Siye from the bottom of her heart. “Maybe it’s to avenge his little mistress Nan Shiqing. I say we shouldn’t cooperate at all. Our Yinyin shouldn’t have to put up with that kind of treatment.”

Avenge Nan Shiqing? Mu Yinyin raised her eyebrows casually. She had almost forgotten that she had indeed thoroughly offended Nan Shiqing. Had Fu Siye finally found an opportunity? Thinking this, Mu Yinyin took a deep breath to suppress her anger. Even so, she had no other choice now. She had to go to Fu’s Group. After all, at this stage of their cooperation, if she offended a petty man like Fu Siye, who knew what he might do. She wasn’t as childish as Fu Siye, daring to joke around with the collaboration.

Jiang Ling bit his lip worriedly, “Yinyin, how about I accompany you? It would be good to have someone there for support.” He then prepared to pack his things but was refused by Mu Yinyin. She still didn’t know Fu Siye’s intentions and absolutely couldn’t involve anyone else from the company.

Fifteen minutes later, Mu Yinyin arrived at Fu’s Group. Fu Siye was in his office, handling documents. Upon seeing Mu Yinyin, he specifically glanced at the time on his watch. “Not bad, very punctual.”

Mu Yinyin couldn’t help but roll her eyes and said calmly, “What is it you wanted me to come over for?”

“Of course, it’s to check the initial draft of the architectural drawings. This also concerns the interests of Fu’s Group.” Seeing Mu Yinyin’s wary expression, Fu Siye adjusted his suit, clasped his hands in front of him, and said matter-of-factly, “What else would it be? Mu Yinyin, don’t be so presumptuous.”

Mu Yinyin took a deep breath, calming her emotions, “Didn’t the initial design draft already get sent to your email?” She was now even more certain that Fu Siye’s actions were to deliberately find fault and retaliate against her.

Fu Siye placed the printed draft on the desk, scanned it, and directly pointed at a spot. “There’s a problem here. I need you to revise it immediately.”

Mu Yinyin lowered her gaze. After all, it was still an initial draft, and it was very possible for there to be issues. However, when she took the draft to examine the spot Fu Siye had indicated, her expression became somewhat subtle. “President Fu, you think there’s a problem with this section?”

Fu Siye nodded, noncommittally. To his surprise, Mu Yinyin actually smiled faintly, “Then President Fu shouldn’t be looking for me. This section was designed by the architectural team assigned by your company. If you have a problem, you should look for them.” Mu Yinyin smirked triumphantly. “It seems President Fu’s taste is as poor as ever.”

Fu Siye felt that Mu Yinyin’s words were like an indirect accusation, especially when he met her knowing smile. An unnamed flame of anger flared in Fu Siye’s chest, making him clench his jaw. “Since you are the chief designer, you should take responsibility.”

“Responsibility? What responsibility?” Mu Yinyin’s eyes narrowed, and she curved her lips into a smile. She calmly walked towards Fu Siye, placing her palm flat on his desk. Her unique scent drifted into Fu Siye’s nostrils as her hair swayed.

Fu Siye had always known that Mu Yinyin was beautiful, especially her eyes, which were as clear as water, capable of masking all dirty thoughts with their purity. But he seemed to have never paid attention to such things, nor had he ever truly looked closely at this woman.

“Fu Siye.” Fu Siye watched Mu Yinyin’s red lips part, as if she were drawing closer. His memory seemed to suddenly return to a certain night, making Fu Siye’s vision slightly blurry. His Adam’s apple bobbed, and his throat felt involuntarily dry.

But in the next second, Mu Yinyin straightened her back and said cheerfully, “Excuse me, I never work overtime after five o’clock. If you want me to stay, I can, but the overtime pay is one hundred thousand per minute.” The ambiguous atmosphere was suddenly shattered. Veins bulged on Fu Siye’s forehead. “Mu Yinyin!”

Mu Yinyin raised her slender eyebrows, her eyes rippling with indifference and coldness. “What is it?” She took a few steps back, her high heels clicking crisply on the floor. “If President Fu is not satisfied, I can help you contact a very good architect who will surely fulfill President Fu’s requirements diligently.”

Mu Yinyin waved her hand and turned around潇洒ly, paying no mind to Fu Siye’s expression behind her. As she reached the door, Mu Yinyin added, “Oh, right, President Fu, you’ve been a total of fifteen minutes since I arrived. Don’t forget to transfer the money to my account.”

Mu Yinyin felt she was already being generous by not charging Fu Siye one hundred thousand yuan per second. After all, any time spent with Fu Siye was a waste. If she calculated the three years she had wasted before, Fu Siye would have to go bankrupt to compensate her. She, Mu Yinyin, was already being kind enough.
