Chapter 922 Like an Affair

After several passionate exchanges, Yin Xi collapsed into the man's embrace.

Closing her eyes lightly, she fell asleep from exhaustion.

Qin Si Ye lowered his head to look at her, a satisfied and charming smile playing on his lips.

He adjusted the covers, held her tightly, and also closed his eyes to rest.

An hour later, Yin Xi slowly woke from her sleep.

As she shifted her body to get up, the man pulled her back forcefully.

"Good girl, don't move. Stay with me for a while longer."

"Si Ye, it must be getting late. We can't sleep anymore," Yin Xi whispered, glancing at the dim sky outside the window.

The man, however, narrowed his eyes and held her tighter without a care, "I don't care about all that. Right now, I just want to hold you and sleep."

"Good, there will be plenty of time," Yin Xi chuckled at his childish words, raising her hand to gently trace his well-defined face. "We have all the time in the world together in the future."

Qin Si Ye allowed her to touch him, gazing at her with melancholy eyes. "Xi Xi, after this is over, we won't separate again, okay?"

"What if you have to go on a business trip for work?" Yin Xi asked with a smile.

Qin Si Ye grabbed her hand and replied, "Then I'll take you with me."

"I have my own work. I can't follow you all the time," Yin Xi replied calmly.

The next moment, the man flipped over, covering her, and looked down at her.

"Xi Xi, you don't want to be with me, do you?"

"How could that be," Yin Xi immediately denied. "I'm just telling the truth.

No matter how much two people love each other, they can't be together all day. Brief separations are common. We have to learn to accept and adapt.

Don't you think that reunions after separation allow us to experience a different kind of beauty?"

Qin Si Ye's ink-black eyes swirled, and the corners of his lips curved upwards. "It is indeed different, like a brief separation that feels like a new marriage."

"We're not married yet, so how can we talk about feeling like a new marriage?" Yin Xi reminded him with a smile.

Qin Si Ye looked at her earnestly. "What we're missing is just a little piece of paper. In my heart, you are already my wife.

If you hadn't always held back, we would have gotten our marriage certificate long ago."

Yin Xi's heart trembled, and she remained silent for a long time.

In the past, she had indeed been too hesitant about many things.

Suddenly, her delicate eyebrows rose, and she hooked her arms around his neck. "I think this feels like we're having an affair, it makes my heart pound."

"Hahaha." Immediately, Qin Si Ye let out a hearty laugh. "These two words describe it perfectly and are very exciting. I like it."

Saying that, he lowered his head and sealed her lips.

Qin Si Ye had intended for them to engage in another intimate exchange, but at Yin Xi's pleading look and repeated requests, he couldn't bear it and had to relent.

As she said, there would be plenty of time and a long life ahead. He had to learn to cherish the slow and steady moments.

When Yin Xi got dressed and came out of the bathroom, she was suddenly greeted by the aroma of delicious food.

She saw Qin Si Ye sitting on the sofa, arranging the food from the bags onto the coffee table.

"Huh? Who sent this food?" Yin Xi walked over, asking curiously.

"The hotel staff," Qin Si Ye replied, looking up. He reached out and pulled her to sit beside him. "You must be hungry. Come, sit down and eat."

How did he manage to order food at this exact moment?

Yin Xi's bright eyes blinked a few times, and she looked at him with a smile as radiant as a blooming flower. "It seems you were well-prepared!"

"Of course," Qin Si Ye said, his lips curving slightly. "Affairs are usually short and intense, so I had to plan everything in advance."

Affair? Planning? He was indeed the president of a multinational conglomerate; everything he did was meticulously planned.

But how could he say these two words together so naturally and calmly?

Was there not even a hint of embarrassment?
