Chapter 300 Help Her Press It

This is not good. Uncle Qin lost the match and won't be able to drive them to school with Mommy anymore.

He wondered if their classmates would tease them.

Qin Si Ye, however, smiled and said, "I did that to make your Mommy happy. Otherwise, how could she have been so spirited when we played soccer together? You don't need to worry, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future."

The four of them chatted and played games in the living room.

Half an hour later, Shen Xi came downstairs from the staircase, wearing a loose set of loungewear, looking relaxed.

When she saw Qin Si Ye sitting on the sofa, she immediately stopped, then remembered that they had agreed to go to the hospital for shots that afternoon.

She immediately turned and walked upstairs, but Yan Yan's tender and sweet voice came from behind her.

"Mommy, you're awake. Uncle Qin has been waiting for you for a long time. He said he's taking you for a shot."

Hearing this, Shen Xi took a deep breath, stopped, and slowly turned around, smiling awkwardly. "Mr. Qin, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting. I'll go change my clothes and be right down."

"Okay. It's fine." Qin Si Ye turned his head and looked at her gently.

A few minutes later, the two walked out the door.

Qin Si Ye extended his hand to her. "Give me the key, I'll drive."

"I'll do it," Shen Xi said after a slight pause, continuing to walk forward.

As she took out her key and pressed the remote, it was snatched away by Qin Si Ye.

"You're the patient now, you shouldn't be driving."

With that, he walked directly towards the driver's seat.

Shen Xi rolled her eyes at him. Patient? She was just going for a routine shot.

A few days ago, he had insisted on her driving him to work every day. Why hadn't he considered that she was the patient then?

Shen Xi didn't argue with him anymore. If he wanted to drive, let him drive. It wasn't the first time anyway.

The car drove smoothly on the road. Qin Si Ye glanced at her. "How is your friend? Was she scared?"

"Huh?" Shen Xi hadn't expected him to ask about this, and after a moment of surprise, she quickly replied, "No. She just felt a bit awkward. Mr. Qin is very excellent, but he's not her type."

"Oh. I also think they are not a good match," Qin Si Ye blurted out without hesitation. "Grandma has realized her mistake and won't do such things again. Please apologize to Xie Yifei on her behalf."

"Okay." Shen Xi agreed readily.

Given Xie Yifei's carefree personality, she probably wouldn't even think about this matter.

"When Xie Yifei had that incident, I saw Jian Fan was very worried. He even stayed by her side all night at the hospital. Could they be a couple?" Qin Si Ye suddenly glanced at her and asked.

Shen Xi frowned. Qin Si Ye, the CEO of a multinational conglomerate, actually had time for gossip.

"I'm not too sure about their situation, but they probably have feelings for each other," Shen Xi replied indifferently.

She hadn't intended to answer his question, but she thought about how he had waited for her in the living room for so long just now, so she decided to satisfy his curiosity.

Hearing this, Qin Si Ye's eyes were tinged with a hint of melancholy. "It seems they are mutually in love and pursuing each other."

Shen Xi's heart skipped a beat. She turned her head to look at him, meeting his meaningful gaze.

She remained silent and immediately turned her head to look out the window.

Upon arriving at the hospital, the nurse who gave them their shots was the same one as last time.

She was likely on duty every Saturday.

When she saw Shen Xi and Qin Si Ye walk in, a sweet smile immediately bloomed on her face.

This Shen Xi was really something. She claimed this tall and handsome man wasn't her boyfriend, but why had he accompanied her here for the past few times?

In a good mood, she quickly drew the medicine and gently administered a shot to the upper part of Shen Xi's exposed left arm.

After more than ten seconds, she removed the needle, placed a sterile cotton swab, and said to Qin Si Ye, who was standing to the side, "You press it for her."

Qin Si Ye raised an eyebrow, gave her a grateful look, and quickly reached out.

Startled, Shen Xi instinctively turned to the side, extending her right hand. "No need, I can do it myself."

The nurse, however, did not let go of her hand, but sternly warned her, "Don't move. If you move again, it will bleed. Don't be shy. There's no one else here. It's good for your boyfriend to hold it for you, isn't it?"

Just as Shen Xi was about to explain, Qin Si Ye quickly reached out to hold down the cotton swab and interjected, "Thank you!"
