Chapter 6 Mr. Qin is a Good Person

Quietly walking to the window, Qin Siye gazed into the dark night thoughtfully.

"I just have a feeling, it's better to check. Of course, Chen Fa will also be kept up to date."

Twenty minutes later, Aunt Li brought the prepared dishes.

Smelling the enticing aroma of the food, Yin Xi finally remembered that she hadn't eaten a single bite all day.

She couldn't help but lick her lips, her peach-blossom eyes immediately filling with tears.

Seeing her like this, Aunt Li knew she must have gone through some unknown hardship and hadn't had time to eat, thus starving herself. She couldn't help but feel a pang in her heart, and said with a smile, "Miss Yin, there's no one else here, please eat."

Gratefully accepting the food, Yin Xi didn't hesitate and began to eat heartily.

However, after just a few bites, large teardrops began to roll down her cheeks.

Aunt Li, feeling pained, quickly handed her a tissue.

"Thank you, Aunt Li!" Yin Xi's voice was choked with emotion, and a warm current slowly spread throughout her body.

After she finished eating, as Aunt Li was carrying the dishes out of the room, she met Qin Siye at the study door.

It was so late, yet the master was still awake.

"Aunt Li, how is Miss Yin?" Qin Siye glanced at the empty bowls and dishes in her hand and asked slowly.

"She's already asleep," Aunt Li replied respectfully and cautiously, looking up at him. "It seems Miss Yin had starved for the entire day, and cried a lot while eating."

Hearing this, a fleeting look of surprise flashed in Qin Siye's eyes.

"I understand. You can go now. Get some rest, and tomorrow morning prepare some light meals for her."

"Yes. Master."

After Aunt Li went downstairs, Qin Siye cast a deep gaze towards the guest room and then walked towards the bedroom on the third floor.

The next day, Yin Xi woke up to find the sun high in the sky.

Whether it was the effect of the medicine or her own exhaustion, she had slept very soundly last night.

She felt much more relaxed all over, and her fever seemed to have subsided.

She sat up in bed, picked up her bag, and found her phone to check the time. To her dismay, it had shut down due to a dead battery.

She rummaged through her bag again and thankfully found the charger inside.

She then got out of bed and quickly plugged in her phone to charge.

Her phone must have run out of power last night, otherwise, she would have received a call from Aunt Zhou by now.

Aunt Zhou must be worried sick not being able to reach her, so she needed to call her back quickly.

Walking into the bathroom, Yin Xi looked at her haggard and pale face in the mirror and the slightly ill-fitting long gown she was wearing. She smiled helplessly.

She never imagined that she, the daughter of a CEO of a listed company, would one day be reduced to such a state.

After washing up, Yin Xi pressed the power button on her phone and first called Aunt Zhou.

"Hello? Miss, is that you?" Aunt Zhou's extremely worried voice immediately came from the other end of the line.

"It's me, Aunt Zhou!" Yin Xi's eyes instantly welled up with tears.

"That's great, Miss. I'm so relieved to hear your voice! Where did you go last night?" Aunt Zhou's voice also became choked.

"I was saved by a Mr. Qin, I don't know where this is, and I'm currently at his home," Yin Xi replied in a low voice, looking out the window.

"Oh, that's good. It seems this Mr. Qin is a good person!"

Aunt Zhou paused for a moment and continued,

"My home address has already been sent to your WeChat. You can come directly to find me."

"Okay. Thank you, Aunt Zhou."

After hanging up the phone, Yin Xi took a few days off from "K Feng" magazine and then left the room and walked downstairs.

As she walked, she observed everything around her. The entire villa was three stories high, with five or six rooms on each floor.

The circular crystal chandelier in the living room hung from the ceiling, dozens of meters high, exuding grandeur and luxury that left one in awe.

The furniture and decor were in European style, yet the colors were very understated and elegant, all demonstrating the owner's nobility and low-key nature.

It couldn't help but evoke a sense of warmth.

Who exactly is this Mr. Qin?

"Miss Yin, you're awake?" Aunt Li, who was busy in the living room, greeted her with a smile upon seeing her.

"Good morning, Aunt Li." Yin Xi pursed her lips and gave her a slight smile.

After spending time with her and receiving her meticulous care last night, Yin Xi felt an inexplicable sense of closeness when she saw Aunt Li again.

"Please sit down." Aunt Li helped her sit on a chair in the dining room. "I was just about to go upstairs to check on you. When the master left, he told me not to disturb you and to let you sleep in."

Mr. Qin, who looked as cold as frost and spoke little, also had such a thoughtful side?

Aunt Li quickly brought the dishes to the table. "Miss Yin, I prepared all these dishes early this morning according to the master's instructions.

I've been here for three years, and you're the only woman he's ever brought home. It seems the master has a special feeling for you."

They had only met by chance, what special feeling could there be? Yin Xi quickly denied it.

"No, no, no, Aunt Li, you're thinking too much. Mr. Qin and I are meeting for the first time.

After he rescued me last night, I suddenly fainted. Perhaps he is naturally kind, which is why he brought me here."

Hearing this, Aunt Li just smiled and said nothing.

In her eyes, this was indeed special.

Suddenly, Yin Xi's eyes flickered a few times, and she asked in a low voice, "Aunt Li, Mr. Qin saved me yesterday, and I still don't know his name?

Could you possibly tell me? I must thank him properly if I have the chance."

"Oh, right, if you hadn't mentioned it, I would have almost forgotten." Aunt Li's eyes lit up as if she had remembered something. She walked to the coffee table in the living room and picked up a business card.

"This is what the master specifically left for you before he left. He said you can call him if you need anything.

Also, the master said to let you rest here for a day, and he will be back tonight and wants to ask you something."

Slowly taking the business card, Yin Xi's heart couldn't help but tremble when she saw the words "Qin Siye".

Qin Siye? He was actually Qin Siye.

She had seen his photo when she was interning at "K Feng" magazine, which was why he looked a bit familiar when she saw him yesterday.

Qin Siye was a well-known young talent in City K, controlling the Zhuo Sheng Group, with businesses spread across the globe.

The Qin family was also the wealthiest family here, which explained why he could afford such a high-class residence.

She had also heard her father praise him many times, saying he was exceptionally capable, decisive, and a rare business elite.

"I understand. Thank you, Aunt Li!" Yin Xi collected her thoughts and slowly lowered her head to drink her porridge.

In the CEO's office at Zhuo Sheng Group, Qin Siye had just finished a meeting and sat down in his office when he received a call from his grandmother.

"Hello? Grandma, why are you calling me so early? Is something wrong?"

"You rascal, what are you talking about? Can't I call you when nothing is wrong?" Xu Zhilan replied from the other end of the line, her voice tinged with a hint of anger.
