Chapter 194: Chapter 194: Outrage
"I specially visited the military base to meet him."
Franklin’s face turned pale before he nodded. "I am sorry I overstepped the boundary."
Before Ivy could reply, Silas stared at Franklin and chuckled, "If that’s the case, then leave. Don’t crowd here."
Franklin glared at Silas, his hand itched, and his rational mind almost became clouded with rage. He wondered if beating Silas would cause Ivy to expel him directly from the base.
The mere thought was enough to pull his rationality back.
’No! I can’t leave her side. As long as I stay by her side, then I might find an opening. Till then, I have to behave obediently.’
With that thought, he stared at Silas with a cool gaze, got on the scooty, and left.
Silas stared at Franklin’s back before narrowing his gaze. He was all too aware of the gaze Franklin had given him.
The guy was waiting for Silas to make a mistake.
As if he would!
Yet Silas couldn’t help but feel sour at the fact that Ivy had worn Franklin’s jacket.
Suddenly, he remembered the trick he had used and regretted his choice. He was so jealous just because of the jacket... just how sad would Ivy have been when Patricia flaunted in front of her?
At the same time, he panicked at the thought that someone was eyeing his Ivy.
Turning toward Ivy, he scooped her in his arms and strode toward the building.
Ivy: (˶°ㅁ°) !!
Her eyes widened, and she opened her mouth. "You... what are you doing?"
"We need to talk." Silas’s calm voice mixed with the sound of heavy footsteps echoed in the empty staircase of the building.
He replied as if he wasn’t carrying Ivy in his arms.
Ivy’s words felt stuck in her throat, and her eyes darkened with concern. Was Silas going to talk about his fiancée? Will he ask her to stay out of his and Patricia’s relationship? Or did he see through her plan?
Ivy wasn’t some innocent bunny. On the contrary, she was strategic.
Although she pretended to be convinced by Franklin’s words, she actually took him with her for her purposes. In reality, she wanted to get a reaction out of Silas.
She knew him far too well. He was a possessive kind of man. Especially for her. He was able to remain so calm throughout their relationship purely because, even though she hadn’t said yes to him, she never looked at anyone else either.
However, today, she deliberately let Franklin near her and even draped his coat on her.
She did this to prove to herself that he still cared.
Now seeing Silas’s reaction, her heart was beating like a drumroll.
He still liked her. To the point that she can make out the restrained anger in his eyes.
As soon as they entered the apartment, Silas shut the door with his foot and placed Ivy against the wall. His arms caged her in, his eyes burning into hers.
Before she could say a word, his lips crashed onto hers. The kiss was rough, almost punishing, as if he wanted to erase Franklin’s presence from her completely.
His hand held the back of her head, keeping her from pulling away, while the other gripped her waist tightly.
Ivy gasped, but instead of resisting, her hands slowly clutched his shirt.
The heat from his body spread into hers, and her heart pounded faster and faster.
His kiss was aggressive, but it was also desperate, filled with a need that left her dizzy.
Her mind screamed at her to push him away, to question him about Patricia, but her body betrayed her.
She melted under his touch. The possessiveness in the way he kissed her made her shiver, yet she enjoyed every second of it.
Silas pulled back for a brief moment, his breath heavy, his forehead pressed against hers.
His voice was low and rough. "Don’t let any other man touch you again. Only me. Always me."
Ivy’s lips trembled. She held herself back from asking about Patricia...
Her main task was... seducing Silas now and...
For some reason, Ivy suddenly felt aggrieved.
Why should she seduce him? And what right does he have to act all possessive while having Patricia as a side chick? How dare he kiss her when he was already engaged?
The more Ivy thought, the more furious and sad she felt.
The next second, her emotions reached their peak, and she pushed him away. "Don’t touch me!"
Silas, unprepared, stumbled backward and stared at Ivy with a stunned expression. His pupil dilated, and he suddenly rushed toward Ivy with a panicked expression.
"What... happened, baby? Why are you..."
"Who is your baby? I am not! Don’t call me that! Go to that green tea bitch! And don’t you dare touch me!" Ivy trembled with anger.
Silas shook his head while he tried to go near Ivy, but she just backed away and glared at him.
"Stop! Don’t come near me! You are already engaged! Have you forgotten due to the trip? Well, that green tea wasn’t sauntering around you; hence, you must have! But I didn’t!"
Silas:
"And you know what? Since you have substitute, just be with her! Don’t you dare imagine that I will have an ambiguous relationship with you!"
Silas: I fucked up bad.
"Alright! Alright, I was wrong. But please hear me out... don’t..." Before Silas could even finish his word, Ivy held his wrist and dragged him toward the door.
"Go! Go to that, Patricia!"
With that, she swung open the door, and Silas almost saw his future.
His instincts kicked in. A voice in his head told him, ’If you leave the apartment now, you can forget about ever telling Ivy the truth ever again.’
So, without wasting any time, he closed the door with his free hand and hugged Ivy while patting her back.
"I am sorry. I am sorry, my love. I made a mistake. I am a jerk. I am a scumbag! Just... please don’t cry, alright? Every teardrop that escapes your eyes is like a scalding pin twisted in my heart."
