Chapter 300 Trading for a New Identity

"Meiying, what are you doing?"

Cai Qiang, clutching his stomach and struggling to get up, faced Meiying, who held a pistol, and a strange young man. For some reason, Wan Yunting looked familiar.

"Is it him?"

Wan Yunting turned and sized up Cai Qiang, a playful smile on his face.

"You, aren't you the assassination target this time!"

Cai Qiang recognized Wan Yunting. After all, he had seen photos and identity profiles of Meiying's targets.

But now, Cai Qiang looked at Wan Yunting and Meiying together in his residence, utterly confused. "You, how can you two be together?"

"You don't need to know," Wan Yunting said with a smile, leisurely lighting a cigarette.

Beside him, Meiying pointed the pistol at Cai Qiang and said coldly, "Call the organization!"

Cai Qiang froze, not understanding what Meiying intended to do. "Meiying, are you betraying the organization?"

"Hurry up."

Meiying's expression was indifferent, her voice cold.

Looking at the dark muzzle of the gun, Cai Qiang's eyes widened, and he gritted his teeth. "What exactly do you want?"

Wan Yunting walked over, pushed Meiying's hand holding the pistol away, and smiled at Cai Qiang. "Call your organization and tell them she's been arrested by the police!"

Cai Qiang was stunned. He immediately understood and looked up at Meiying. "You want to leave the organization?"

Meiying's face was cold. "Just do as I say, or I'll turn you into a corpse!"

Cai Qiang sneered. "Meiying, do you really think you can leave the organization this way? You're too naive..."

"Stop the nonsense and make the call quickly. I'm tired and want to go back to sleep. I have to go to class tomorrow," Wan Yunting said impatiently, blowing smoke at Cai Qiang.

"Kid, don't get cocky. Meiying might not be able to kill you, but that doesn't mean others can't!"

Cai Qiang glared and said to Wan Yunting, "The organization has already sent out their number one ranked assassin, Sky Wolf, to kill you in Meiying's place, so you..."

"Such damn nonsense."

Wan Yunting didn't let him finish. He directly pressed Cai Qiang's head onto the dining table and said coldly, "Don't doubt that we dare to kill you. Make the call quickly."

Cai Qiang was enraged, but he didn't dare to retort to Wan Yunting. Just seeing Meiying standing beside him, expressionless with a pistol in hand, made him realize that for killers like them, killing was as simple as eating. Thus, Cai Qiang had no doubt about their capabilities.

"Alright, I'll call."

Cai Qiang gritted his teeth and nodded. Wan Yunting then let him go, gestured to Meiying, and went over to the unconscious woman on the bed. Wan Yunting jumped onto the bed, flipped the woman over, and with his left hand, lifted her hair to expose the Fengchi acupoint on the back of her neck. Then, with his right hand, he drew a silver needle from his sleeve and inserted it into the Fengchi acupoint...

"What is he doing?"

Cai Qiang's eyes widened at the sight. However, Meiying kept her pistol pointed at him. "Make the call quickly."

Not knowing what Wan Yunting was doing to that woman, Cai Qiang glared fiercely at Meiying before going to the desk drawer, retrieving a satellite phone, and dialing Kuntai, the person in charge of assigning tasks for the Manluosha Killer Organization...

The call connected. Cai Qiang glanced at Meiying and said, "Meiying has been arrested by the Chinese police!"

Kuntai, in an organization facility somewhere in Thailand, frowned upon hearing the news. "What happened?"

Cai Qiang thought for a moment and replied, "Meiying went to assassinate the target tonight and was ambushed by the Chinese police. So, the target, Wan Yunting, wasn't killed, and she was captured."

"Are you sure!"

"Yes, I'm sure."

Looking at the pistol in Meiying's hand, its dark muzzle pointed at him, Cai Qiang dared not say anything else to Kuntai.

"I understand."

Having confirmed that Meiying was arrested by the Chinese police, Kuntai hung up the phone.

Cai Qiang sighed and said to Meiying, "Are you satisfied now?"

Meiying's expression remained unchanged. She then put away her pistol. Wan Yunting, who was on the bed, also got down. "Done. Your turn!"

Cai Qiang's expression changed. "What, what are you going to do...?"

Wan Yunting smiled. "Don't worry, I won't take your life. I'll just reduce your intelligence to that of a three-year-old!"

"What?"

Cai Qiang's eyes widened, not understanding what he meant. Then, Wan Yunting moved forward and struck the back of his neck with his palm. Cai Qiang's eyes went black, and he collapsed onto the ground with a thud. Without a word, Wan Yunting drew silver needles from his sleeve and inserted them into the Fengchi and Fengfu acupoints on the back of his neck, as well as the major acupoints like Naohu, Qiangjian, Hou Ding, and Baihui on the back of his head, directly damaging Cai Qiang's brain nerves...

Meiying watched from the side. The two had discussed how to deal with Cai Qiang before they came. Wan Yunting had finally come up with the idea of using acupuncture to damage his brain nerves and turn him into an idiot.

"Alright."

A moment later, Wan Yunting withdrew the needles and stood up. Meiying, however, raised an eyebrow, unsure if his method would work.

"If you don't believe me, wait here until they wake up."

Wan Yunting was too lazy to explain further. He glanced at his phone, noting that it was already three in the morning. "I'm going back. As for your Chinese ID, I'll have someone help you get it."

"But remember, you owe me a life!"

Meiying's expression was impassive. She knew Wan Yunting wouldn't help her for free. All she had to do was complete one task for this man to exchange for a real identity in China.

"I'm leaving." Wan Yunting waved his hand and turned to open the door, walking out.

Meiying remained in the room, looking at Cai Qiang lying on the floor. She intended to wait for him to wake up and see if he had become an idiot.

If Wan Yunting's method didn't work, then she would turn them into corpses!

Wan Yunting didn't bother with her anymore. He went downstairs and rode away on Meiying's heavy motorcycle. By the time he got home, it was almost four in the morning. His second brother and sister-in-law were still asleep. Wan Yunting quietly returned to his room and fell asleep.

At Cai Qiang's residence, Meiying finally waited for them to wake up. She noticed their vacant stares and bewildered expressions. Meiying interrogated Cai Qiang for a long time and finally confirmed that Wan Yunting's method had worked. Only then did she leave to go back.

As for whether the organization would find out about this matter later, Meiying didn't think too much about it. Her only hope now was that Wan Yunting would provide her with a new identity so she could live like an ordinary person in China.

However, for now, she had to sneak out of China to complete an important task of hers!

At seven-thirty in the morning, Wan Yunting finally got up. He took a shower, changed into clean clothes, and went downstairs at eight o'clock. He saw his sister-in-law, Wang Chulin, already making breakfast. "Third brother, what time did you get back last night?"

"Oh, around two or three."

Wan Yunting smiled. "I'll head to school first then."

"Have breakfast before you go."

"No need, I'll buy a bun on the way..."

With that, Wan Yunting went out, rode the heavy motorcycle parked at the courtyard entrance, and headed directly to Xingyao Primary School.

At eight-thirty, school officially started. Wan Yunting had one class in the morning, scheduled for the second period. Therefore, he went to the Traditional Chinese Medicine department office in the teaching building. Gu Luotang, Qi Miaomiao, Song Sinan, Zhang Xiaoyu, and Wei Renxin, along with other TCM teachers, were all there, discussing a sudden incident.

"Good morning, everyone. What are you guys talking about?"

Wan Yunting entered with a cup of soy milk and a bun, greeting everyone with a smile.

"Good morning, Teacher Wan..."

Seeing Wan Yunting arrive, Gu Luotang was delighted. She called him Teacher at school but would call him Brother Yunting in private.

"Teacher Wan, the head teacher of your class had a car accident," Qi Miaomiao said.

"A car accident?"

Wan Yunting was startled and quickly asked, "How is he now?"

Gu Luotang shook her head and sighed. "I heard from other teachers that Teacher Tang's condition is not good. He's still in the hospital."

"How could this happen?"

Wan Yunting frowned. Although he wasn't familiar with the head teacher, Tang Qiang, he was still surprised to hear about his car accident.

"Everyone is here."

Just then, Gu Yuanbai walked in. Wan Yunting put down the bun and soy milk in his hands and greeted everyone with nods...
