Chapter 453 I Am Already the Artist

Xia Feng waved his hand over the original painting, and suddenly the ground appeared beside the river.

There were many people cultivating and meditating on the bank, and some were sitting in boats fishing.

The ones being fished were the big fish like King Hughes and his companions.

“You stare at the painting and find your own mysteries within,” Xia Feng said to Long Aotian and Durapitt.

“Okay.” The two responded and began to stare at the people in the painting.

Like Pope Paul and the others before them, they quickly found their rhythm, their eyes fixed on the painting, unable to look away.

The room presented a scene: a painting floated in mid-air, the river water within seeming on the verge of gushing out. Everything in the painting was alive, as if you were standing by a window looking at the scenery outside.

The five people stood motionless, beginning to comprehend the mysteries within the painting.

Xia Feng didn't disturb them. He walked out of the room to go downstairs and explore on his own.

They were now in a state of deep concentration, and it would be difficult for them to process it all on their own in a short time.

The weather in Fisher City was still good, sunny and bright, and he could feel a slight warmth walking on the street.

Outside, pedestrians hurried by. Some young people wore only long-sleeved shirts, and most people wore a light jacket.

Xia Feng walked aimlessly through the streets, experiencing the city's hustle and bustle and the myriad aspects of life.

A minivan drove past Xia Feng. It stopped about five meters ahead, and a beautiful leg first emerged from the car. Then, Jin Xiaochen ran over excitedly, shouting, "Young Master Xia, why are you in Fisher City? I almost didn't recognize you when I saw you in the car just now."

Xia Feng looked at Jin Xiaochen, finding it quite a coincidence that he had run into her several times.

"Long time no see," Xia Feng said with a slight smile.

"Yes, long time no see. Have you had lunch?" Jin Xiaochen asked with a soft hum.

"I just came downstairs to find a place to eat. How about we go together?" Xia Feng invited.

"Okay," Jin Xiaochen nodded quickly.

"Then let's go. You know the good places better than I do, so you lead the way." Xia Feng was composed, his conversation appearing ordinary yet possessing an irresistible authority.

Jin Xiaochen was too delighted to refuse.

"Yes, I'll take you to a great place." Jin Xiaochen nodded and led Xia Feng to the car.

There were two other people in Jin Xiaochen's minivan: a driver and an agent.

These two had seen Xia Feng before at the Magic City Film Base, so they weren't surprised to see him invited into the car by Jin Xiaochen.

"Let's go, Zi Jin Private Club." After getting into the car, Jin Xiaochen urged the driver to depart immediately, afraid Xia Feng might change his mind.

A faint fragrance filled Jin Xiaochen's car. The minivan had been redecorated by Jin Xiaochen, with pink as the predominant color.

"Young Master Xia, have some water." Jin Xiaochen took a bottle of water she had stored from beside her seat, unscrewed the cap, and handed it to Xia Feng.

Xia Feng took a sip and asked, "Are you here in Fisher City to film?"

"No, I came for a commercial event. The performance was finished this morning," Jin Xiaochen explained with a smile.

They talked all the way to the Zi Jin Private Club.

This was a private club specializing in Chaoshan cuisine, considered one of the most expensive restaurants in Fisher City.

When Jin Xiaochen and Xia Feng arrived, there were no available seats.

The manager, seeing that Jin Xiaochen was a celebrity and could bring fame to the establishment, managed to arrange a small private room.

The two then entered the club.

"Young Master Xia, what would you like to eat?" Jin Xiaochen stood beside Xia Feng, acting like a server.

The opportunity to dine with Xia Feng was a great honor for her, and she was eager to serve him.

Whether it was external or internal service, she was willing.

Xia Feng, however, wasn't thinking that far ahead. He was simply out to relax and find a place to eat, and their meeting was fate.

If anything, he had some connection with Jin Xiaochen.

"You order, I'm fine with anything," Xia Feng said.

"Okay, I'll order then." Jin Xiaochen took the menu, leaned over the table, and began to select the restaurant's signature dishes.

The dishes here were very expensive, reportedly made with high-end ingredients, catering to the wealthy.

Fisher City was full of wealthy people. Decades ago, they were still fishing and living rough lives, but they had suddenly transformed into landlords.

Basically, every villager who had been relocated could receive over a dozen apartments; this was considered a small number. Many received dozens or even hundreds of apartments.

There were plenty of such people, wearing flip-flops all day, going around the neighborhoods to collect rent.

It would take most people many lifetimes of hard work to buy a house in Fisher City, but these people could enjoy the fruits of others' labor. It could only be said that fate played tricks, and one couldn't envy such things.

Jin Xiaochen ordered six dishes in total, plus a bowl of soup for each person. After she finished ordering, she asked the waiter to serve the food quickly.

The dishes here were indeed very good, worth the price.

The dishes Jin Xiaochen ordered were mostly eaten by Xia Feng alone.

After lunch, Jin Xiaochen sent Xia Feng back to the hotel. As she was leaving, Xia Feng looked at Jin Xiaochen and said, "Save my number. If anything happens to you recently, tell me."

Jin Xiaochen was a little curious about what Xia Feng said, but that wasn't the important part. The important part was that Xia Feng was willing to give her his contact information.

Jin Xiaochen quickly took out her phone and saved Xia Feng's number. Then, she left reluctantly.

After Jin Xiaochen left, Xia Feng turned and walked back into the hotel. He felt it was his destiny to help her. Xia Feng saw that she would encounter difficulties recently, which was why he said what he did.

Jin Xiaochen saved Xia Feng's number in her phone like a treasure. She kept smiling at her phone in the car, wanting to engrave Xia Feng's number in her mind.

When Xia Feng returned to the room, the five, including Long Aotian, were still in the process of enlightenment. Xia Feng waved his hand, and they quickly emerged from the painting.

"Master."

"Master."

The five called out. Dark Spirit also joined in, as everyone else was calling him that, so he went along with it.

"How do you feel?" Xia Feng asked the five.

"I feel like no matter how hard I try, I can't jump ashore, as if there's an insurmountable chasm," Pope Paul said helplessly.

"I'm similar. I can't break through the painting; there's a thick fog covering the sky," Long Aotian continued after Pope Paul.

Xia Feng smiled and said, "This is a normal reaction."

"Master, how did you break through the painting?" Durapitt asked Xia Feng with curious eyes.

Xia Feng smiled upon hearing this and said, "How did I break through the painting? I don't even remember myself."

Xia Feng retorted, then shook his head and continued, "I was already the one who created the painting."

Hiss...

Everyone suddenly understood.

"Master, I'm going out to make a call. Murong Tiangu called me several times, and I couldn't answer while I was in the painting just now." Long Aotian said, holding his phone.

Xia Feng nodded and continued to explain the matters of the Great Dao to the other four.

"What is it?" Long Aotian came out of the room and called Murong Tiangu back.

Murong Tiangu's voice came from the other end of the phone, saying:

"The Global Martial Arts Conference is about to be held. Team Leader Long, should we participate?"
