In the growth process of a young person, and indeed all of us, we always have to experience all kinds of stories. Naturally, it is impossible for the scenery of life to remain the same. There will be sweetness, sourness, bitterness, and spiciness.

The story began in December 2022. The third volume ends in March 2024. Time is flowing, and the characters are also growing and experiencing life.

So, everyone doesn't need to worry about the style changing. In fact, the theme of each volume is very clear:

The first volume, *The Mantis Stalks the Cicada, Unaware of the Oriole Behind*, focuses on mystery and suspense.

The second volume, *The Heartbroken*, is about the game of human hearts and gains and losses.

The third volume, *Thousand-Year Stake*, focuses more on the emotions between people, and the emotional outbursts of people themselves.

In fact, after finishing each volume, the evaluations are mixed. The same plot is liked by some people and hated by others; some are moved, and others find it awkward.

Many people like the first volume the most. Personally, I thought it was the worst written at the time, but I went back and looked at it a while ago and felt that it was actually okay. It's just that some places are a bit wordy, and the plot still has some merits.

Many people like the second volume the most, and I also think the second volume is well written, but I only think the second half of the ending is good. I am not very satisfied with the first half of the volume.

Looking at the third volume as a whole, I am personally quite satisfied. It is also a volume of story that connects and transitions, echoes from beginning to end, and is very complete.

Flaws, things that are not handled well, definitely exist; some details are also not rigorous enough in order to promote the plot.

But overall, I think I still wrote something. I directly felt my progress. Not only is it an improvement compared to the first volume, but it is also a qualitative improvement for me who entered the online writing career in 2021.

In simple terms, after writing the third volume, I feel like I have evolved.
