Chapter 1154 Exercise and Relaxation

Daisy said sheepishly, "Mr. Qin, I didn't do much this time, just followed Susu around to eat and drink."

Susu, standing beside her, also raised her glass to Daisy, telling her not to be polite and to enjoy the best food tonight.

As they were joking, Xiao Lin suddenly stood up from his seat, as if he had something to say but was too embarrassed.

Xiao Mei, sitting next to him, nudged him, urging him to speak quickly.

Xiao Lin then stammered, "Young Master, Young Madam, Miss Daisy, I have some good news to share with everyone. I... Xiao Mei and I are getting married."

As soon as he finished speaking, he quickly sat down, not daring to look at anyone.

Susu smiled at them and said, "This is wonderful news! Why are you two so shy?"

Xiao Lin and Xiao Mei both blushed and lowered their heads, nudging each other under the table, neither daring to speak further.

"Congratulations to you both," Daisy said.

Xiao Mei replied, "Thank you, Miss Daisy. You must come to our wedding."

As she spoke, she secretly glanced at Tianyi, wondering what his thoughts were.

"You two, how did you end up together?" Tianyi's voice held no discernible emotion.

This made them flustered. Xiao Lin quickly said, "If Young Master doesn't like us being together, then I, I..."

"You won't marry me, will you!" Xiao Mei glared at him, momentarily forgetting her shyness and becoming a little angry.

"No, no," Xiao Lin denied.

"Who said I wouldn't let you be together? I want to congratulate you," Tianyi said with a smile. "I'll give you a big red envelope at your wedding."

Everyone couldn't help but laugh, realizing Tianyi had deliberately put on a serious face to tease them.

"Young Master, how could you do that? You scared me to death," Xiao Mei complained with a smile.

Susu, ever thoughtful, said, "I'll have someone prepare one of the guest rooms downstairs as your bridal suite. Also, how do you plan to have your wedding? I can help you contact a wedding planner."

Xiao Mei waved her hands, "Young Madam, there's no need for such trouble. We'll just have a simple meal with people we know here. Xiao Lin and I want to return to our hometowns to have more elaborate weddings."

Susu nodded, "Alright, it's such a big event as marriage, you should make both sets of parents happy."

Xiao Mei said with a hint of worry, "Xiao Lin and I will be away from Lancheng for a while. We're just afraid that Young Master and Young Madam won't have anyone to look after them..."

"Don't you worry. We have two nannies at home. Besides, I can do everything. We'll be fine," Susu quickly reassured her.

Tianyi put his arm around Susu and said, "You two should also take a break, have a proper wedding and honeymoon. If you encounter any difficulties, please tell us. Don't be strangers."

"Thank you, Young Master and Young Madam," Xiao Mei said, then quickly gestured for Xiao Lin to raise their glasses with her to toast Tianyi and Susu.

After dinner, they returned to the villa.

In the bedroom, both Tianyi and Susu were in high spirits.

Although Susu was tired from sitting in the car all day, she couldn't sleep when she lay in bed and wanted to talk to Tianyi.

"Xiao Mei and Xiao Lin are finally getting married. It's so good that their relationship can finally settle down."

"Mm, it's a joyous occasion," Tianyi said, having something else to tell Susu. "But there's another piece of good news."

Susu, resting her head on his arm, asked, "Oh? What good news?"

"Today, the technical problem at the glass factory has finally been overcome. Aoxiang can now produce world-class explosion-proof glass!" Tianyi said, filled with pride and happiness.

Susu sat up abruptly, saying with equal joy, "That's wonderful! You won't have to work overtime at the factory anymore and can come home for dinner on time."

Tianyi laughed and pulled her onto him, saying playfully, "Your happiness is for different reasons than mine. Do you get my feeling at all?"

"I get it. You have a sense of accomplishment, and I'm proud of you too," Susu smiled. "But as your wife, nothing is more important to me than your health. Whether you succeed or not, I don't want you to be too tired."

Tianyi kissed her forehead, touched. "Are you questioning my strength again?"

"What are you talking about? No," she replied.

Tianyi ignored her protests, rolled over, and pinned her down with a mischievous grin. "Let's exercise and relax."

"Stop messing around, I have something else to tell you..."

"We'll talk after exercising," Tianyi said, quickly starting to claim his territory, making her surrender quickly.

Susu was exhausted from his exertions and just wanted to sleep.

He, however, was still whispering in her ear, "Am I strong?"

"Strong," Susu weakly turned over, wanting to sleep.

Tianyi wouldn't let her sleep and wanted to continue their intimacy.

Susu protested, "No, please. I'm really tired."

Tianyi placed his hand on her waist and gently bit her neck. To prevent her from falling asleep too quickly, he asked, "You said you had something to tell me earlier?"

Susu remembered and said, "I promised the little girl from the orphanage, Hengheng, that I would help her find her parents. That child is so pitiful, it seems her father sold her to human traffickers..."

"Mm, give the information to An Jing. He knows people who are best at finding others. In Lancheng, there's no one he can't find," Tianyi said, seizing the opportunity to press himself onto her again.

Susu tried to resist, but couldn't match his strength, so she gave up and asked, "But what if that child's parents' names are fake? Can he still find them..."

Before she could finish, Tianyi silenced her with his mouth, forcing her to once again join him in their passionate embrace.

When Susu woke up, she felt sore all over. She turned over and found that Tianyi was no longer in bed.

As she reached for her phone to check the time, she saw a message from Tianyi: "Darling, you must have been exhausted last night. Don't go to the studio today, rest well."

She put her phone aside and closed her eyes again, thinking about Tianyi's intensity last night, her heart skipping a beat.

It seemed she couldn't mention his body anymore, let alone question his physical condition.

She pulled the quilt over her head to block out the light coming through the window and drifted back to sleep.

When she woke again, it was already afternoon. This meant she wouldn't be going to the studio today either.

After getting up, she called Shishi to see if there was anything that required her personal attention.

Shishi said there were a few things that needed her signature, but nothing urgent. She could come to the studio tomorrow if she was busy.

Seeing that it was still a long time before Tianyi would finish work, Susu decided to go to the address Tang Tang had mentioned.

She wanted to see what Tang Tang's former residence was like.

Using her phone for navigation, she drove to the location Tang Tang had described. As the dean had said, it was indeed an area slated for demolition.

Many old houses were reduced to rubble and broken tiles. Some were emptied but not yet demolished, with large red "demolish" characters painted on the walls.

Susu walked slowly through the area, not seeing any demolition workers. Even the houses that hadn't been demolished had their door numbers removed.

It was impossible to find Tai'an Lane, Number 2, Second Floor, which Tang Tang had mentioned.
