Chapter 1163 Not Worth Your Sadness

"Then you'll practice as I told you tonight. I have to go teach others," Daisy said, turning to leave.

"Who else do you have to teach, that woman from before? Don't forget I booked a one-on-one session. It's unprofessional of you to leave halfway through."

Daisy shot him a glare and sent a text message to Susu.

Upon receiving the message, Susu changed her clothes and found an empty spot to practice her punches on her own, not wanting to disturb Daisy.

By the time Daisy finished teaching her one-on-one student, it was almost time for the club to close.

Susu and Daisy left the club together and found a late-night snack stall to chat.

"What's the deal with the student you were teaching tonight? The way he looked at you was off," Susu asked curiously.

Daisy said dismissively, "Just a playboy. He wanted to pick up girls at the club. So boring."

"He looked alright. If he's pursuing you, maybe you should consider it," Susu teased her.

"I've seen plenty of guys like him. It's just a fleeting interest, and I have no intention of playing along with such people." Daisy changed the subject and asked, "By the way, you didn't just come here to practice punches tonight, did you?"

"No, I've already looked for Tang Tang's parents, but I couldn't find them."

Daisy expected this result and said, "It must be hard to find them, otherwise the police would have found them already."

Susu hummed in agreement and said, "I met one of their neighbors, and they had a very poor opinion of Tang Tang's parents. I'm worried that even if we find them, it might not be a good thing for Tang Tang to return to them."

Daisy agreed, "Why don't we tell Tang Tang next time that her parents couldn't be found and she should stay in the orphanage with peace of mind?"

"I've been thinking for the past few days about what reason to give so that the child can accept this calmly."

Daisy thought for a moment, "You could tell her that after she went missing, her parents searched everywhere for her. They moved away due to excessive grief. No one knows where they moved to, so they can't be found."

"Okay, that's a good reason. I'll try it then," Susu said, taking a sip of her soda.

Daisy took her soda away and said, "Stop drinking that. Let's have some wine."

"What wine? I have to drive back later," Susu objected.

Daisy insisted on ordering beer and said, "What time is it? You're still out. Won't President Qin come to pick you up?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Susu's phone rang.

It was indeed Tianyi calling, "Where are you? Still practicing? When are you coming back?"

Before Susu could answer, Daisy snatched her phone and said, "President Qin, Susu is drinking with me. Come pick her up quickly."

"Location," Tianyi said concisely.

When she handed the phone back to Susu, the call had already ended.

She smiled and said, "Send President Qin your location."

Susu was resigned to it. If Tianyi knew that the two of them were out drinking so late, he would surely be furious.

However, Susu didn't care anymore. She picked up a bottle of beer brought by the waiter and started drinking.

She felt that the beer tasted really good. She hadn't had beer in a long time.

Daisy added some barbecue and said, "Now we can drink without worry, right?"

"Mmm, I'll have Tianyi take you home first later."

Daisy seemed to have something on her mind, drinking one glass after another, and soon got drunk.

Susu drank with her, but not as quickly, and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Susu, what is love? Who is sincere and who is fake? How can I find my own Prince Charming?" Daisy said with a distressed tone.

Susu smiled and said, "Did the student tonight make your heart flutter? I told you, you can try. If you don't try, how will you know if it's suitable?"

"I don't get moved that easily," Daisy continued drinking. "That person just stirred up some bad memories for me."

Susu followed her lead and asked, "What memories?"

It was the first time Daisy had confided her romantic experiences to someone. She said, "When I first came to this club as a coach, my usual attire wasn't so feminine; I was quite androgynous. After puberty, I poured all my energy into boxing, only thinking about winning trophies. I didn't consider my personal relationships."

Susu saw her finish a bottle and, fearing she wouldn't be able to walk when Tianyi arrived, hurriedly snatched the remaining wine. But it was a bit too late, and Daisy managed to grab another bottle.

"Stop drinking. Drinking like this is just seeking suffering."

Daisy opened the wine bottle and waved her hand at Susu, saying, "Listen to me. Back then, I met a male student who looked very spirited and handsome. One day after training, he suddenly confessed to me, which surprised me. I rejected him at first, but he didn't give up and seemed very serious about pursuing me."

"That's not strange. Even I, watching you box from the audience sometimes, can be captivated by you, let alone those men," Susu chuckled.

"Really? Thank you." Daisy continued, "With his persistence, I was finally moved and accepted him like a girl experiencing first love. Our relationship progressed rapidly. But just a month after we became a couple, I accidentally saw the chat content on his phone. It turned out he was making a bet with other students, and if he successfully pursued me, he would win."

Susu understood and thought how heartbroken Daisy must have been at that time, not interrupting her.

Daisy said, "I confronted him with his phone, thinking he might have some hidden difficulties and would find reasons to explain himself to me. But he calmly admitted it and even said that I wasn't like a woman at all, and no man would want me..."

"He's talking nonsense! That kind of person isn't worth your sadness," Susu comforted her. "He's just scum. Don't let him affect you!"

"But don't all men think like that?" Daisy looked at Susu and asked.

"No, they don't. That person himself wasn't strong enough and wasn't worthy of you," Susu said firmly.

A glimmer of light appeared in Daisy's eyes. "Really? What he said doesn't represent everyone's opinion."

"Of course not. Besides, we shouldn't live in other people's eyes. Everyone should be unique and different, just live your own life," Susu encouraged her. "Don't give up on pursuing your happiness because of such scum. Everyone encounters a few scumbags."

Daisy started to laugh. "Yes, that person is scum. So, what kind of person do you think is suitable for me?"

Seeing that her mood had improved a bit, Susu said, "I can't say for sure. It takes time to see a person clearly. Don't make decisions too early. Look around more, try dating more. With time, things will naturally fall into place."

Daisy hummed, as if she had figured something out. She no longer seemed as distressed and conflicted as before, but she still insisted on having the bottles of wine that Susu had taken away.

"They've been ordered. We're having such a good time, let's finish them both."

Susu helplessly gave her a bottle and said, "Last bottle. If you drink any more, I'm afraid I'll have to carry you back."
