Qin Tianyi rolled over and opened his eyes, a smile on his lips. He touched his face, sighing. His Qin太太 was truly becoming more formidable.
“Alright, time to get up!” He sat up straight. Nothing was more important now than accompanying his wife and son.
After breakfast, the family of three drove out, chatting and laughing.
After a six-month hiatus, they returned to the amusement park invested in by Aoxiang Group. It had now officially opened.
Long queues formed in front of the popular rides. Seeing the bustling scene, Susu realized that any ride she wanted to go on would require a one to two-hour wait.
Little Xingxing, gazing wistfully at the inability to ride his favorite "Crazy Flying Mickey Mouse," said to Tianyi, "Daddy, quickly make all these people disappear so it's like last time, with just the three of us."
Susu chuckled, "Mr. Qin, hurry up and use your magic. Your son is waiting to see it."
Qin Tianyi found himself in a predicament. He picked up Little Xingxing and said, "Close your eyes."
"Daddy's so amazing!" Little Xingxing excitedly closed his eyes.
Susu pointed at him and mouthed, "Are you really going to use your special privilege? The tourists have all bought tickets."
Qin Tianyi winked at her and walked towards the children's play area with Little Xingxing in his arms.
Susu quickly followed him. Seeing him arrive at the children's zone, he placed Little Xingxing into the colorful ball pit.
He said, "You can open your eyes now."
Little Xingxing opened his eyes with anticipation, looked around, and said, "Daddy, why did you bring me here? There are still so many people outside."
"There aren't many people here," Qin Tianyi coaxed him. "Look how fun the colorful ball pit is, and there's a slide. Quickly slide down from the top."
Little Xingxing grabbed a ball and threw it at him, saying with disappointment, "Daddy lied. You own this amusement park, why can't you let me play alone?"
Qin Tianyi caught the ball he threw and tossed it back at him. "Amusement parks are built for everyone to enjoy. Don't be unreasonable."
Little Xingxing scooped up more balls and angrily threw them around. "I want an amusement park with only the three of us! I want it!"
"Children really can't be spoiled. This little fellow used to be so well-behaved. Now he even throws tantrums." Qin Tianyi blocked a few flying balls, but some still got through, hitting him right on the bridge of his nose.
Although these colorful balls didn't hurt when they hit, Qin Tianyi saw Susu watching the spectacle with a smile, not helping him. He complained, "You, the mother, aren't you going to discipline your precious son? You just keep smiling foolishly."
Susu put her hands on her hips and glared at him. "With you, the father, around, do I need to? Boys should be disciplined more by their fathers."
He couldn't afford to offend either his wife or his son. Qin Tianyi dared not anger Susu. He quickly said, "Okay, okay, my dear wife, you rest. I'll handle this little rascal."
Saying this, he rolled up his sleeves, and with his imposing stature, he stepped into the ball pit, picking up colorful balls to chase Little Xingxing.
Sensing trouble, Little Xingxing ran and dodged within the ball pit. The father and son were having a blast.
Susu laughed, looking around. She wondered if any of the park employees recognized their Mr. Qin.
The usually aloof CEO was now acting like a big kid. If anyone saw him, their jaws would drop.
Amused, Susu found a place to sit. After watching Tianyi play with Little Xingxing in the ball pit for a while, he started to draw the attention of other parents and children who had arrived.
Several parents pointed at him, some saying, "Why is a grown man playing in the ball pit for children?"
"He's accompanying his child."
"It's rare to have such a father nowadays."
"Who knows if he's accompanying his child or just wants to play himself. He looks quite good, but why is he so oblivious, hindering our children's play?"
Qin Tianyi paid no mind to their chatter. As long as Susu and Little Xingxing were happy, that was all that mattered.
With more children in the ball pit, Little Xingxing's mood improved, and he started playing with the other kids.
Qin Tianyi finally climbed out of the ball pit.
Yes, he climbed out, he didn't walk out. Susu burst into laughter.
She never expected the usually cool Mr. Qin to have such poor balance. He couldn't stand steadily in the ball pit and scrambled out, stumbling.
Ignoring the amused aunties around him, Qin Tianyi, panting, came to Susu and sat beside her. "I'm pretty good at childcare, aren't I? I finally managed to pacify him."
"You're excellent," Susu said, unable to suppress her laughter.
Qin Tianyi leaned into her ear and whispered, "You never praised me like this in bed. When I'm with you, I'm even better, aren't I?"
Susu immediately blushed and playfully hit him. "Are you trying to die? Saying that in public!"
Qin Tianyi grabbed her small fist and continued, "My voice is so quiet, who can hear me? Am I even better in that regard..."
Susu simply covered his mouth, saying, "Enough. I thought you were actually going to use your special privilege to clear out all the tourists."
Qin Tianyi pulled her hand away, no longer teasing her. He smiled and said, "Little Xingxing is being unreasonable, but do you think I would be like him? You know the tourists have all bought tickets. Although I am the CEO of Aoxiang, there are other shareholders' investments. How could I do something so childish?"
"As expected of the CEO. Look how happily Little Xingxing is playing now." Susu leaned her head on his shoulder contentedly.
He put his arm around her waist and asked, "Do you have anything to do tomorrow? Are you busy?"
"What is it? Do you have something?" Her studio was in preparation, so she wasn't too busy, though she had unexpectedly taken on a design commission.
Qin Tianyi's tone became serious. "I had someone investigate. Shu Yan returned to Lancheng just a few days after Huo Jin's accident. Huo Jin's death is likely related to Shu Yan."
"Shu Yan has no reason to harm Huo Jin. They are friends." Although Susu had suspected Shu Yan, she couldn't fathom why she would harm Huo Jin.
Qin Tianyi took a key from his pocket and dangled it in front of her. "Perhaps there's a reason we don't know. I had someone make a full set of keys for that country house. Tomorrow, we'll go to the house together. We might find some clues."
"Okay." Susu also couldn't understand. If Huo Jin had seen Shu Yan before her death, why would Shu Yan lie and say she hadn't seen Huo Jin in a long time?

Qin Tianyi handed the key to her. "I knew you wouldn't give up until this matter was cleared up. Instead of you investigating behind my back, it's better we investigate it together until the truth is revealed."
Susu affectionately hugged his arm. "Husband, you understand me best. You're too good."
"You," Qin Tianyi patted her head. "Huo Jin helped you, which means she helped us. She's gone like this, and it's not just you who is sad. I can't stand by and do nothing either."
