Chapter 62 Chatting

That evening, Qiu Xi lay in bed, phone in hand, chatting with Nan Hua about their upcoming speech practice.

"There's an CET-4 exam before the competition. I might not have much time," she typed.

"It's okay, I've registered too," he replied.

"Then how should we do this?" Qiu Xi typed, though in her heart she felt they didn't need any of this. After all, the person on the other end was a true academic prodigy, and she herself was like a hidden player with cheats. The teacher was simply being too thoughtful.

But a prodigy was a prodigy. "We'll just digest the materials ourselves and summarize once a week. What do you think?"

"Sure, no problem." Qiu Xi could completely accept this; it was similar to her own thoughts. However, she was someone who attended classes in the system every day.

"Okay, we'll figure out the specific timing later."

"Alright!"

"So, it's settled then."

"Okay!"

"Well, what are your plans for tomorrow?"

"I have classes in the morning and will go to the library in the afternoon."

"Good, then get some rest early."

"Mhmm!" Seeing there was nothing else to talk about, Qiu Xi prepared to enter the system for her studies.

Meanwhile, in the male dormitory, Nan Hua held his phone, looking at the word 'library' and then at the class schedule on the wall. He thought for a moment.

Finally, he put his phone away and looked at the people still playing games below. He called out, "Are you guys going to the library tomorrow afternoon? Let's go together!"

"Hurry, move, move..." Zhao Huasheng, who hadn't heard him at all.

"Swish!" A paper ball was thrown, landing on the floor.

"Nan Hua, I'm telling you, don't litter! I'm not a trash can!" the person still engrossed in the game replied casually.

"Swish! Swish! Swish!"

Hitting him repeatedly, Zhao Huasheng suddenly felt something was wrong. He took off his headphones, turned his head, and said, "I'm telling you! Nan Hua! Don't think I'm really afraid of you!"

He gesticulated wildly but didn't dare to reach out.

"Huh?" Nan Hua looked at the silly and honest person before him, speechless.

"My lord, I was wrong!"

"Whatever you command, sir!" This wasn't cowardice, it was prudence.

"Go to the library with me tomorrow afternoon." He had just been asking, and now it was decided.

"No, you're usually not this diligent. Why are you going to the library for no reason?" Zhao Huasheng couldn't understand. This guy was truly a lord. He'd known him for years; others buried their heads in study while he slept, others worked overtime and stayed up late while he played, yet his grades always left others in the dust. It was infuriating.

Now, this person was talking about going to the library; it was truly an extreme level of incomprehensibility.

"Why so many questions? Just tell me if you're going or not!"

"Then why aren't you asking Yun Yi?" Zhao Huasheng loudly pointed at the person engrossed in tinkering with something on the desk and said.

Upon hearing this, Nan Hua lifted his chin. "Then you ask him?"

"No time!" It was a cold response. Before Zhao Huasheng could even speak, he'd already given up the idea.

"Fine, I'll go with you!" They were all lords. Fortunately, Ling Shengyi had moved out and didn't come back to the dormitory often.

After complaining for a while, he grumbled and sat back down to play games.

Seeing that his goal was achieved, Nan Hua's lips curved into a smile, and he ignored Zhao Huasheng any further.

He leaned against the bed and started reading a book. If one ignored the name that was covered, he truly looked like a good student. What a pity!

Meanwhile, Qiu Xi, due to the planned schedule, was now deeply immersed in her studies, unable to extricate herself.
