With Martin and the others imprisoned in Azkaban and left in the care of Dementors, the system panel showed that one-third of the mission was complete.
Benedict had also found the second pirate crew.
The members of this crew were resting by the shore.
Benedict's appearance caught their attention.
The plot bore some resemblance to the Black Poker Pirates.
"Boss, we've spotted an important person."
A pirate on guard duty, seeing Benedict in his dugout canoe, quickly called out.
Gavin, who was lounging under a tree and drinking coconut juice, stood up upon hearing this, his interest piqued. "Who?"
"Boss, it's him." The pirate subordinate handed Gavin a wanted poster, saying excitedly.
Gavin looked at the figure on the poster and immediately became interested. He then burst into laughter. "Hahaha, it's him."
"My men, follow me! Let's capture this 'Azure Dragon Navy Marshal' who is so arrogant he looks down on us pirates."
Gavin was very confident in his own strength.
As a user of the Zoan-type Crocodile-Devil Fruit, the sea had little effect on him.
A group of pirates boarded their ship and in a short while, they reached Benedict.
"Did you put out this thing?" Gavin threw down the poster from his superior position, sneering coldly.
Benedict caught the drifting poster, examined it for a moment, and said with a smile, "You did a good job. It's quite handsome."
"Hey, Benedict, our captain is talking to you." A pirate, seeing Benedict ignore their boss, became furious and aimed his gun at Benedict.
Benedict heard this and said with a smile, "Ah, if I'm not mistaken, I was the one who sent it out."
"So, are you in such a hurry to go to Azkaban for tea?"
Gavin grinned, his expression ferocious. "My men, what did our Azure Dragon Navy Marshal say?"
A subordinate knowingly played along. "Boss, he said he wants to invite us to Azkaban for tea."
Gavin asked again, "Then how should we return the favor?"
"Capture him, chop off his head, and make it into a wine cup!" The pirates roared with laughter upon hearing this.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Gavin waved his hand and laughed heartily.
"Kill!"
A war cry sounded. The pirates on the ship all drew their firearms, aimed them at Benedict, and unhesitatingly pulled the triggers.
A series of gunshots rang out, but they all missed.
Because Benedict's figure had vanished in an instant.
As they searched for Benedict's whereabouts, cries of pain from the pirates began to echo across the ship.
Gavin turned around swiftly upon hearing the sounds to check.
He saw Benedict's figure flickering. Each time he reappeared, several subordinates were sent crashing to the ground, their fates unknown.
In just a few breaths, all his subordinates, except for himself, were lying on the ground.
"You are the first to fire at me."
"So, I've specially rewarded each of them with one punch."
"And you, too!"
Gavin, though angered, realized Benedict might be very strong.
However, Gavin was even more confident in his own strength.
The next moment, Gavin's body underwent a transformation. It suddenly grew enormous, tearing through his clothes. His form resembled the crocodile, the Butcher of the Desert, from League of Legends.
"Brat, your strength is quite good."
"But in front of a Devil Fruit, you are nothing more than an ant."
"Now, you have an opportunity. You can become my subordinate, and I can spare your life."
Gavin, in his transformed state, felt the immense power surging within him. He stared at Benedict and said with disdain.
Benedict glanced at the crocodile-formed Gavin and chuckled. "A Devil Fruit user, huh? That makes him even more valuable to imprison."
Gavin's eyes blazed with killing intent. He said coldly, "You refuse a toast only to be forced to drink a forfeit. You're seeking death!"
With his words, his massive fist swung towards Benedict.
Benedict grinned and countered with a punch.
*Whoosh!*
Gavin was instantly sent flying, crashing heavily into the sea.
Coming to the ship's edge and looking at the rippling water, Benedict couldn't see Gavin's figure. He muttered, "Careless."
He leaped down and stood on the surface of the sea, trying to locate Gavin.
Just then, several water arrows shot out from the seabed.
Benedict retreated several steps, dodging the attack.
Gavin's figure then leaped out from behind him, attempting a sneak attack on Benedict's back.
Benedict directly used a Soru and appeared several meters away.
"He's not affected by seawater?" Benedict looked at Gavin with surprise and a hint of amusement.
After all, Devil Fruit users, regardless of their form, should be affected by seawater.
Yet, this person seemed different. Could the pirate world he knew be different from reality?
The water around Gavin seemed to be under his control, allowing him to stand on the sea without sinking.
Seeing Benedict's shocked expression, Gavin couldn't help but laugh triumphantly. "Hahaha, aren't you very surprised? I am a Devil Fruit user with the Crocodile form. I am someone who can move freely in the sea."
"Now, I am the overlord of the sea."
Benedict's face showed a playful smile. "The overlord of the sea?"
"Heh heh heh, not that I'm looking down on you."
"Without even Conqueror's Haki, where do you get the nerve to call yourself the overlord of the sea?"
As Benedict spoke, his Conqueror's Haki also erupted.
The immense pressure enveloped him. Gavin, who had been excited like Martin, instantly turned pale. Swaying unsteadily, his control over the seawater also failed.
*Plop!*
His heavy body fell into the sea, and he lost consciousness.
Benedict's figure appeared swiftly, grabbed the unconscious Gavin, and threw him back onto the ship. "You actually had some skill. I'll consider that you lasted for a second."
Benedict looked at the unconscious Gavin, then entered the interior of the pirate ship.
This was a human trafficking pirate ship.
Several young girls and children were confined within.
Benedict's appearance frightened the women and children held in the cages. They cowered in a corner.
"Don't be afraid. I am the Navy. The pirates have been subdued by me. You are saved."
He reached out and broke the chains, saying to a woman inside, before moving on to open the next cage.
Upon learning that Benedict was from the Navy, the girls and children in the cages all showed happy smiles.
When they emerged from the cabin and saw the unconscious children, they finally believed they were saved.
"These pirates have actually been defeated."
"Look over there, it's a Navy warship."
"Wow! We're really saved."
"I want to go home! I want to find my mother!"
Not far away, a warship was rapidly approaching.
Benedict's gaze fell upon the approaching warship, his brow twitching slightly.
The people on this Navy warship were not from the Navy.
