The Classic of Mountains and Seas doesn't contain any records of Leize or Hua Xu.

A book friend in the previous chapter mentioned the God of Leize and Hua Xu. Seeing dozens of lines of debate, I still need to explain.

The God of Leize and the Ten Peak Thunder Gods are two different entities in this book.

Also... the Shanhai Jing (Classic of Mountains and Seas) only has one sentence describing Leize, and it has nothing to do with Hua Xu.

'In Leize, there is the God of Thunder, with a dragon body and a human head, drumming his belly. It is located west of Wu.'

The story of Hua Xu and Leize was written by Sima Zhen of the Tang Dynasty: "Her mother, Hua Xu, stepped on the footprint of a giant in Leize and gave birth to Paoxi in Chengji."

Let's pull the timeline forward again. Before that, the "Bamboo Annals·Former Chapter" of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period recorded the following: "Stepping on the footprint of a giant, she felt moved, and a rainbow wrapped around her. Thus, she became pregnant and gave birth to the Emperor in Chengji, who ruled with the virtue of wood and the surname of Feng." That is to say, it was just the footprint of a giant, and it had nothing to do with Leize, so the location was not recorded.

Jin Dynasty - there was the continent of Hua Xu. The divine mother traveled on it, and a blue rainbow wrapped around the divine mother, and it disappeared after a long time, and she felt pregnant.

In this era, Hua Xu conceived.

In other words, Hua Xu originally had nothing to do with the God of Leize. It was Sima Zhen who brought them together. What did he write?

The God of Leize and Hua Xu had a relationship, and then gave birth to Nüwa and Fuxi.

Nüwa and Fuxi then married.

Yes, he was the guy who wrote the book saying that Nüwa and Fuxi got married, (shakes head).

The point is that he wrote these things as "Historical Records·Suoyin," which means he wrote about the parts that Sima Qian, the Grand Historian, did not know.

As well as recording the events of Leize and Hua Xu, other documents include "Emperor Century", "Poetry Weft·Containing Divine Mist", "Hetu Wo Ju Qi", etc., but not "Shanhai Jing". There is, however, a note by someone else, "Shanhai Jing·Inner Eastern Classic·Guo Zhu", which only says "Hua Xu stepped on a large footprint and gave birth to Fuxi", and Leize is not mentioned.

ps1: The God of Leize in the Shanhai Jing is very serious.

ps2: This book is based on part of the Daoist Canon and the original world view of the Shanhai Jing, plus the author's imagination.

That's it, writing, writing.
