Chapter 139 The Overlord Spear's Hatred (Thanks to DylanWu for the generous reward)

"An old friend?"

Tiannv Jue gazed at the woman in red, a hint of surprise in her eyes. After a moment's thought, she recognized the woman, although she was still somewhat puzzled. "When you say old friend, are you referring to the owner of this museum?"

The woman in red replied, "I do not know."

"I was merely drawn here by the aura."

Tiannv Jue pondered, her gaze falling upon the box carried on the woman's back. She smiled gently and said, "In that case, why not come inside and wait a while?

"Yuan should be back soon."

Just as she was about to step out of the flower shop, her gaze drifted downwards. She noticed her light-colored dress and the pair of fluffy, light-yellow slippers, like the paws of some feline, peeking out from beneath the hem. Their exaggerated, adorable markings caught her eye, and she paused ever so slightly.

The young woman looked up, a gentle, refined smile, so characteristic of Wei Yuan, gracing her face, betraying no hint of unease.

"Please wait a moment," she said.

The woman in red nodded.

Tiannv promptly closed the door, the sound of the wind chimes sharp and ethereal. She exhaled softly, swapped her house slippers for a pair of white canvas shoes, and then stepped outside, offering an apology for the wait. Dressed in a white dress and white shoes, her black hair cascading down her shoulders, she carried a pot of white flowers as she walked across to the museum.

It was as if she had simply gone to fetch flowers before knocking on the door.

With a creak, the water ghost swiftly opened the door.

The woman in red took in the museum's interior, her eyes scanning the various ghosts and spirits within. However, she was not human, and differed from most demons and monsters, so she remained unperturbed. The Bronze Zun of King Shang, plagued by these young spirits, had thought Wei Yuan had returned, only to find two women.

The spirit of the Bronze Zun of King Shang faltered, a sudden sense of familiarity washing over him as he gazed at the two women.

The water ghost, having once received a 'Water God's Edict,' at least didn't have a gruesome appearance and could briefly transform into a normal human. He coughed twice and said politely, "What kind of tea would you ladies like? We have black tea, green tea, oolong tea, jasmine tea, Longjing tea..."

Tiannv Jue was surprised, then smiled. "Green tea will be fine."

The woman in red said, "Black tea."

"Very well."

The water ghost nodded briskly.

A moment later, two cups of five hundred…

The Overlord Spear roared in fury.

Xiang Yu arrived at Yinling and lost his way. He asked a farmer, who tricked him, saying, "To the left." To the left was a large swamp. Thus, the Han troops were able to catch up with him - *Records of the Grand Historian*
