*The Descent of Magic* is a genre and style I've never tried before. The stories I've written in the past have all been based on a realistic world background, while *The Descent of Magic* is completely set in a fictional world.

A new attempt also means new risks.

In fact, I know very well how to write something that my old readers will like, and how to write something that will directly guarantee the book's success and popularity, but I can't help it. Haven't you seen that our supernatural category has already been renamed the suspense category?

However, the reason for choosing the *Descent of Magic* theme was not due to too many objective factors, but purely because I liked this kind of development myself.

I like to describe characters, to enrich and flesh out each character and supporting character, so that they give people a sense of flesh and blood. I think it's very interesting to write stories this way.

Let each of them have their own characteristics, so that each of them can write their own story when taken out alone.

In fact, this is also the direction I have been exploring and learning. Old readers who have been reading my novels should be able to feel it.

Perhaps the theme and style of the novel has changed, but the essence is still the same.

Writing *The Descent of Magic* every day makes me look forward to it and makes me very happy. It's the feeling of pouring a cup of Nescafe instant coffee, sitting in front of the computer with a smile, and placing my fingers on the keyboard.

In fact, what I personally like the most is the feeling of Blind Bei and A'Ming chatting in the car. The two of them just say one sentence after another, with the rain, I feel that the atmosphere is very comfortable.

I actually feel that I didn't write the part where the old man was holding a gun very well, because the update frequency of online novels is the reason here, and there is not enough time for me to settle down and ponder it carefully.

All in all, I like this feeling, I write it with enthusiasm, and then you can still like it.

Of course, it may also be because my literary disease is getting more and more serious, and I have begun to become more and more presumptuous when writing, doing some scenery descriptions, slowly depicting small characters, and messing around here and there, which has now created a very embarrassing problem:

I found that if a chapter is 3,000 words, I'll set the stage, render it, and then the chapter is over.

Then the plot basically didn't move at all...

So, this month, most of the time I posted a chapter of 5,000 words. During the new book period, I updated 10,000 words, which can be marked as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 explosions on the daily chapters by authors who write 2,000 words per chapter.

When I got up yesterday, I felt a little unwell, so I wrote a 3,000-word chapter to hand in first, and then I saw you guys commenting below: So short!

After finishing the launch speech, I have to go to sleep. The two chapters updated in the morning were written overnight. There's no way, my schedule is upside down again.

I'll set an alarm clock and get up to write in the evening. Don't laugh at me, I haven't written the VIP chapters that will be launched tonight yet.
