"Am I worthy?"
Jabari’s frown deepened. In all the nations and realms he’d traversed, only the first and second elders of the council could speak to him with such arrogance. But now... a stranger, whose presence he couldn’t even detect, was looking down on him.
"If you don’t show yourself! I will kill this girl!" he threatened, pointing a finger at Lola. "Attacking an elder is punishable by death!"
"Oh! So you can break others’ rules, but no one can break yours?!"
Jabari whipped his head to the side, his eyes narrowing as a woman stepped out from the crowd. It was the same woman whose voice had incited the people earlier.
"You’re not the one who attacked him! Tell him to show himself!" Jabari yelled, his patience wearing thin.
"Let me ask you a question," she said calmly, ignoring his outburst.
"Are you his brother?" She gestured to Richard. "You’re a citizen of this nation, but you’re helping him even though you know he’s at fault! How are you even the third elder?" she asked, her tone cutting and cold.
"Watch your mouth, woman!!" Richard roared, finally rising to his feet, his face a mask of fury:
"I will kill you two!! And then!!! Deal with these people!!" A dense wave of celestial energy burst from him, shooting into the sky like a raging inferno.
"I will kill you---"
BOOOM!!!!
"HUH?"
Richard’s taunt was cut short, his eyes wide with disbelief as dark, ethereal chains erupted from the ground beneath him. With one swift, brutal motion, they wrapped themselves around his body, instantly draining his celestial energy.
"What the hell?!" He struggled, unleashing his full strength, but not a single chain so much as trembled.
"This?! Only a God-rank or a peak Demi-god rank can hold me down." He muttered in shock, his gaze darting to Jabari.
WHOOSH!!

"...?!!!"
A collective gasp swept through the crowd as four headless bodies dropped to the ground with a sickening thud. The senators, who had stood beside Jolie and Frederick moments before, were now lifeless corpses.
"....?!"
The silence that followed was a heavy, suffocating blanket.
Seeing the gruesome sight, Frederick let out a piercing scream. "Grandfather!! Save me!!!"
"If your grandfather escapes from my chains, I will set you three free."
All heads turned to Lola, watching as a man with wolf ears appeared beside her, his gaze fixed on Jabari.
’What the hell?! A peak Demi-god rank?!’
The shock was evident on both Jabari and Richard’s faces.

’Thanks to the abyssal chains, his celestial energy will be completely drained in two minutes.’
"Who are you?" Jabari asked with a slight frown, his posture tense. He knew that a clash between two powerhouses in such a place would annihilate everyone present, a consequence he wanted to avoid.
"This here is the great king, known as God Wolf," the woman took a step forward, a regal air about her.
"...?!"
Jabari’s eyes narrowed as he focused on her. Her body shimmered, and in a flash, a blue-skinned lady in a black cloak stood in her place.
A disguise?! This lady is just a Heavenly rank, but her shifting ability is insanely crazy! Even a God-rank can’t see through it!’ he thought, a flicker of surprise in his eyes.
’With his shocked expression, it seems Jinx fooled him...’ Sunny looked at Lola.
’But Lola caught her with just one glance... This girl is worth cultivating.’ He then turned his attention back to Jabari.
"You have two options," Sunny said, his voice calm and authoritative:
"First option: go against the immortal council’s rule and force us to let them go... making me your enemy. Second option: turn around and get off this planet, let these three face their crimes, and in return, I will keep the deal with Leonardo."
"You know first elder Leonardo to the extent of making deals?" Richard was stunned speechless, the knowledge a blow almost as hard as his current predicament.
Jabari was silent, his mind weighing the consequences. The man before him was arrogant, but he wouldn’t be without the strength to back it up. The fact that he was holding Richard, a Demigod, proved he was a formidable opponent:
’But... Is he strong enough to face the immortal council? The weakest amongst us is a Demigod stage one warrior,’ he pondered, his silence a sign of deep deliberation.
"You have one minute to decide." Sunny added, a smirk playing on his lips.
"There is no need!"
A new voice, filled with an immense amount of pressure, descended on everyone. Sunny’s frown deepened; he recognized this aura.

The space behind Jabari tore open, and three figures walked out from it: two humans and an elf.
"First, second, and fourth elders!!" Richard exclaimed in shock, his face paling as his celestial energy was almost completely drained.
"So stubborn," the woman, standing on Leonardo’s right, snapped her fingers, and the chains on Richard instantly shattered into dark smoke and vanished.
’This woman, why does she look so familiar?’ Sunny’s face was filled with surprise, a sense of familiarity washing over him.

"God wolf, we meet again," Leonardo said, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Why can’t you control your own people?" Sunny asked, a frown marring his face.
Leonardo raised an eyebrow: "Oh that... Yes! That’s why I’m here... If I hadn’t been keeping an eye on you, these fools would have done something stupid."
"First elder. They wanted to execute---" Jabari began to explain.
Leonardo turned to Jabari, and an unseen force struck him. Jabari staggered back, vomiting a mouthful of blood onto the ground, dropping to his knees.
"I know what happened," Leonardo said coldly, his voice leaving no room for argument.
