Chapter 680 A Chance is Needed!
The vehicle was a 9.5-meter-long box truck, with five people, all of Chinese descent, sitting in the cab.
After finishing the call, the driver in the driver's seat called out, "Let's go, put on your hats!"
As soon as he spoke, the other four put on bandit caps or triangular scarves and pulled out weapon boxes from under the bed in the cab.
The driver grabbed the walkie-talkie and shouted, "Get ready to start!"
"Roger that! You light the fire, and I'll set off the fireworks!" the other party replied casually.
After the two finished communicating, the driver skillfully drove the box truck directly towards the community entrance controlled by local police officers.
Inside the community, some of the prison inmates were being interviewed, while others were helping elderly people living alone with household chores, including weeding and cleaning.
Su Tiannan had almost finished his work and was sitting in front of a dilapidated single-family villa, drinking a beverage.
The Kessler Street community was on the outskirts of New York City. Although it looked like it was full of villas and wide streets, it was actually a large rural area, very desolate around.
It was around 10:00 AM, local time.
A truck was driving in from the south, very slowly, gradually approaching the police-controlled area along the side of the road.
A black police officer, with a tactical backpack around his waist, a walkie-talkie hanging above his right chest, and wearing a yellowish uniform, turned his head and saw the truck.
"Hey, that truck, stop!" The black officer waved his hand and shouted as soon as he saw the truck approaching the controlled area, and immediately drew his gun.
After all, this was the City of Freedom, and police officers could draw their guns and fire entirely based on their own judgment.
The truck did not slow down and continued forward.
"Hey, stop the car!"
The shouts alerted the surrounding police officers, and seven or eight of them ran over, also drawing their guns.
Inside the car, the driver slowed down to about fifteen miles per hour and pulled up a steel plate with his right hand to shield himself.
"Don't move, put your hands up where I can see them...!"
"Da da da...!"
Before the black officer could finish shouting, the remaining four people in the car all leaned out of the windows and, without a word, opened fire at maximum power!
A volley of bullets swept down, and two of the officers fell. The remaining officers scattered and ran, firing at the truck intermittently along the way.
The truck continued to drive forward, traveling about six or seven meters before crashing into a police car.
"Get out of the car!"
The driver shouted and, with the other five, pushed open the doors and jumped out of the truck, throwing grenades in all directions with extremely coordinated movements!
"Boom, boom...!"
Violent and dense explosions rang out, and four or five police cars nearby caught fire. By this time, the police officers had already run at least twenty or thirty meters away, standing at street corner alleys and store entrances, firing randomly in this direction!
After the five people got out of the car and ran away, the driver directly pressed the detonator, and the 9.5-meter truck instantly turned into a large fireball, exploding at the entrance of the community. Four or five police cars nearby were instantly melted and destroyed!
This wave of explosions directly blew open the blockade at the community entrance, and the five people, armed with guns, charged inside, sweeping everything before them.
At the alley entrance, a police chief shouted into the walkie-talkie, "Kessler Street is under attack by bandits! We need support! We need support!"
A white fat man reminded him from the side, "Chief Charlie, the prisoners are still in the community, we need to protect them!"
"Those damn anti-terrorism team in Washington don't even protect children, are we going to protect those scum criminals? You are as stupid as they are!" Chief Charlie said, crouching behind a cement wall that provided a sense of security. "We need to wait for the opportunity to attack, wait for support!"
"You're right, Chief Charlie!"
And so, the thirty-odd police officers on the periphery, with only five bandits against them, began to wait for the opportunity to attack!
Thirty seconds later, sounds rang out on the other side as well. Eight more masked armed men rushed into the community from the side.
The community was in chaos. The prisoners had already scattered and fled. The few police officers who resisted sporadically, after realizing that there was no hope of turning the tide, did not foolishly run into the line of fire. They only fired symbolically from a distance.
Soon, Su Tiannan found an opportunity. With the staff collectively running away, he knocked out a man, changed into his work clothes, and hurried towards the masked men.
"Who are you with?"
"A friend of Mr. Wang!" Su Tiannan replied as he ran.
"Let's go!" the leading driver called out to his companions, handed Su Tiannan a gun, and the group quickly fled from the second evacuation point.
Three minutes later, a group of a dozen people left the community street and got into a van, speeding away.
Outside the community street, more than thirty police officers were still waiting for the best opportunity to attack, as well as support from nearby police units.
Half an hour later.
Inside the van, the driver handed a set of clothes, as well as 100,000 in cash, a cell phone, and thirty phone cards, all to Su Tiannan.
"Memorize the phone number," the driver said.
"Okay, tell me!" Su Tiannan responded.
Five minutes later, Su Tiannan got out of the car alone, changed into new clothes, and fled separately.
...
Hanoi time, around 11:30 PM.
A Lai, the marketing manager of the Guijia Trading Group, met a dozen or so old *laoleizi* (local thugs) who worked for him on a street near the Dongsheng Express Company.
The group gathered around A Lai, waiting for him to speak.
A Lai directly opened the trunk of his business car and pointed to a whole sack of cash inside, saying, "Let's keep things simple! Take the money and get to work! Don't be afraid of anything. I can tell you clearly, Gui Mengjun has been controlled by the Military Intelligence Bureau. He can't even protect himself now. Many of you should have heard that the Military Intelligence Department has set up countless observation points outside the Gui family's residence. In no more than two days, his whole family will be inside."
The crowd nodded slowly.
"Times have changed! The landscape has changed! From today onwards, at least one-third of the Gui family's wealth will be ours! If you follow me, A Lai, I won't mistreat you."
"Yes, Mr. A Lai!"
A Lai's words made the dozen or so old *laoleizi* excited. They respectfully bowed to their leader.
"Go!" A Lai waved his hand.
At 11:40, more than two hundred idlers in Hanoi who ran maritime trade gathered directly, holding weapons and firearms, and slowly surrounded Dongsheng Express!
A dozen or so of A Lai's good brothers, with their blood boiling, repeated their boss's words and prepared to start.
On the other side.
After meeting his good brothers, A Lai immediately rushed to the Hanoi coast, taking his wife, children, and father, and boarded a fishing boat to flee the country as soon as possible!
"Brothers, get ready to go!" A Lai's fiercest *laoleizi* shouted, raising his gun.
...
Inside Dongsheng Express Company, Jiang Zhou looked at the dense crowd below and cursed loudly, "I don't believe they really dare to touch Chinese-funded enterprises!"
"Bang!"
As soon as he finished speaking, someone kicked open the iron gate and rushed in first.
Jiang Zhou was stunned for a moment, then immediately waved his hand and shouted, "Let's go, let's go first!"
