353: Chapter 342: What Should I Say?
“Cough cough, fuck, you little bastard still dare to smoke in here?”
The ugly had just pushed open the door to the interrogation room when he was greeted by a thick cloud of smoke.
He waved his hand to disperse the unpleasant odor and glared at Song Yun, who had placed his feet on the table, yelling, “I think if I don’t loosen your skin today, you won’t realize how many eyes Lord Ma has.”
“Fuck off, as if giving you face by coming in here isn’t enough, you think you can beat me up?”
Song Yun said dismissively.
The only reason he followed the ugly in was to send a signal to the outside world that the Li Family remained unyielding, even without holding the reins of power.
This was a mission personally entrusted to him by Mr.
Li.
Song Yun had been considering how to make a scene and pay a visit to the police station.
He didn’t expect to get caught today, but this was a good thing; it saved him a lot of trouble.
If these people knew he was just a pawn used to establish authority, would they cry their eyes out?
“Fuck, let’s see you talk tough now.” The ugly pulled out a rubber baton from the compartment under the table and aimed a blow at Song Yun’s face.
If the hit had landed, Song Yun’s face would surely have been disfigured.
“No need to curse so much.
Do you think that as a little cop you’re that tough?” Song Yun dodged the attack and grabbed a wooden stool next to him, slamming it down on the ugly’s body.
The stool was made of wood, and when it hit him, it made a noise like bones breaking.
The ugly hadn’t expected this guy to dare assault a police officer.
As he clutched what seemed like a broken leg, he cried out for help, “Someone come quick, there’s an assault on an officer here, someone is assaulting an officer!”
“What are you screaming for, got no manners at all,” scolded a middle-aged man as he walked in.
“Chief, this kid is not playing nice, he even fought back.
He’s the man of that group of girls, if we don’t break him, those girls will be difficult to handle,” the ugly said, gasping for air.
“Fuck’s sake, what ‘girls,’ what ‘beating people up,’ are you a cop or a thug?” The middle-aged man kicked the ugly hard several times.
While getting kicked, the ugly was confused.
The boss had just fucking praised him moments ago, and now he was kicking him.
Had he really messed with someone you shouldn’t?
“Chief, please stop kicking me, I know I was wrong.
I’ll never do it again,” the ugly implored tragically as he clung to the middle-aged man’s legs.
“Good that you know,” the middle-aged man glared at the ugly.
When he turned back, his demeanor was sunny and mild, “Comrade, I apologize for today’s incident.
It’s indeed our fault, a lack of strict oversight from me that led to you receiving such unfair treatment.
As the deputy chief of the police station, I would like to offer my apologies.”
“No need for apologies, it’s not like your police station setting up its own court and using brute force is anything new,” Song Yun glanced at the man.
“What, now that you know who you have brought in, you want to apologize quickly?”
“I really didn’t know about this, this little bastard acted on his own,” the middle-aged man said obsequiously.
“Nice job pulling a Golden Cicada’s shell,” Song Yun clapped his hands.
“But I wonder, did you take any advantage of those girls just now?”
The middle-aged man involuntarily stepped back at the cold glint in Song Yun’s eyes, unsure of what this young man did for a living, but his presence was so commanding.
“Of course, I wouldn’t do that kind of thing.
Miss Li and the others have confirmed there’s no issue.
They’re currently enjoying tea and snacks,” the middle-aged man said with a forced smile.
“Oh, so you recognized Li Shishi as the Li Family’s young lady, huh?
Sharp eyes,” Song Yun sneered.
“A public servant of this country with not a bit of role-model integrity, conspiring with criminals.
I’ve heard your nickname on the streets is quite formidable, Mr.
Jiu, tsk tsk, to be addressed as ‘Lord.'”
“Where did you hear that from?” The middle-aged man was visibly nervous, his carefully prepared excuses forgotten.
He hadn’t felt this tense since college when he failed to answer a question in front of the girl he liked.
“From this Fatty’s mouth.
He specifically named you, saying my boss is known on the streets as Mr.
Jiu, ha-ha.
I wonder which path you’re walking on?” Song Yun ridiculed.
Despite his own considerable status, others would still call him Brother Song, with only those of a higher rank being referred to as lords.
“This is all nonsense, surely this little bastard is talking nonsense,” the middle-aged man swallowed nervously, but inside he had already blacklisted the ugly, thinking damn it, this asshole really didn’t have enough problems.
“Comrade, your suspicion has now been cleared, you can reunite with your friends.”
“Oh, so that’s it?
Nothing else?
What about this little guy who hit me?” Song Yun kicked the ugly, who lay on the ground like a dead dog.
“This little shit just said he was going to give me a good lesson and went straight for my face with a rubber baton.
Lucky for me, I have quick reflexes, otherwise, at the very least I would have suffered a concussion.”
“I will take serious action regarding this matter,” the middle-aged man said weakly, finding the young man difficult to please.
If it wasn’t for the connection with Li Shishi, he would have dismissed him already.
“Fine, let’s go see then,” Song Yun sneezed as he left the room, giving the ugly a kick as he went.
Fucking traitor, thinking of taking advantage of my woman, killing you wouldn’t even be too much.
“Please, this way,” the middle-aged man led the way.
After a short walk, they arrived at the chief’s office on the top floor.
Just as he opened the door, he saw Li Shishi and a few others casually chatting on the sofa.
“Got out?” Li Shishi glanced at Song Yun.
“Are you hurt?”
“Some Xiao Pang wanted to hit me, even had such a long stick,” Song Yun exaggerated the size of the stick.
“If he had hit me with it, you wouldn’t see the handsome and suave me anymore.”
“That’s not quite fair to say, right?” The middle-aged man interjected uncomfortably.
“Well, how should I put it then?
Say I’m totally fine or say that I’ve had a good time without being threatened?
Did I come to your police station for a tour?
There are so many places in the world to go, why would I come here and jinx myself,” Song Yun said with an expression of having terribly bad luck that day.
“Today’s events have brought to light a major flaw, which is the low quality of your personnel.
It’s outrageous who you dare hire,” Li Shishi chimed in from the side.
