Chapter 1 Entering the Fortress

Entering the chariot, Li Chenzhou turned on the communicator and said into it, "Hongli, it's ready. You can come down now!"

He was there to notify Hongli, because the War Fortress was in the clouds above them, ten thousand meters above the ground. The communication signal from a single-soldier auxiliary device couldn't reach that far. They could only use the communication equipment on the chariot.

"Understood!"

Hongli had been waiting for Li Chenzhou's order. He responded immediately upon hearing his voice and then piloted the War Fortress to descend.

After contacting Hongli, Li Chenzhou turned around, got out of the chariot, and returned to Ding Ning and the others. Then, he looked up at the sky.
