Lord of Illusions City

Chapter 320 Humans More Terrifying Than Zombies

“Brothers, Wu Zhiqun is dead, Wang Tiejian is also dead, and Regiment Commander Liu has been released. Are you… still going to follow those below and continue to protect them?”

Before Li Chenzhou could speak, the soldier at the front looked at the soldier and asked. His name was Feng Chao, and he used to be a squad leader. After Wang Tiejian took power, he remained a squad leader.

“What?”

The soldier was stunned, then looked at Li Chenzhou and the others, and then turned to look at his brothers. They were all soldiers who had been incorporated by Wang Tiejian and were responsible for guarding the villa.

The other soldiers were also stunned. Two of them looked happy and rushed forward to ask:

“Squad Leader Feng, is what you said true? Regiment Commander Liu is out?”

“Yes! He’s in front of the Number One Hotel, along with the brothers who were imprisoned with him!”

Feng Chao nodded.

“Haha! Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!”

The two soldiers were overjoyed and immediately rushed outside. Li Chenzhou and the others naturally wouldn’t stop them. The remaining three soldiers looked at each other and finally put down their weapons and made way.

When they first entered the villa, the sound wasn’t very loud, but as soon as Li Chenzhou and the others opened the door to the villa’s basement, the noisy music instantly became louder. As they went down, the sound grew louder and louder. When they reached the carnival venue on the second basement level, they could only hear each other clearly by speaking close to their ears.

The entire second basement level of the villa was just one huge space, about a hundred square meters. Around the perimeter were sofas and coffee tables, and the center was used as a dance floor. With the constantly flashing laser lights, it was completely like a small nightclub.

There were forty or fifty people here, mostly women. There were only about a dozen men, but as many as thirty or so women. They were completely engaged in an uninhibited orgy. All of them were naked. Some of the men were currently embracing girls and engaging in intense activity, while others were cheering and applauding.

Seeing this, Gray Bear was furious. He rushed over and kicked out the power supply to the amplifier, then pulled out his pistol and pointed it at a girl’s head:

“Turn on the lights!”

The girl with the gun pointed at her forehead didn’t show any fear on her face. She just looked at Gray Bear blankly, nodded mechanically, and then walked over and pressed a switch on the nearby wall…

*Pa!*

Instantly, the lights on the second basement level blazed, illuminating the entire carnival venue as if it were daytime. The sudden light made everyone inside feel uncomfortable, and they all squinted their eyes.

“Damn it! Who turned on the lights? Are you looking for death?”

“Why did the music stop? What are you trying to do?”

“What’s going on? What the hell is happening?”

Those men with bloated faces and potbellies all squinted and shouted, their voices full of dissatisfaction.

“Humph! Bastards!”

Gray Bear’s face was gloomy. When he saw the situation on the commercial street, he already had a surge of anger in his heart. But after killing Wu Zhiqun and Wang Tiejian, that anger had dissipated somewhat.

But seeing the situation here, his anger was even greater than before, and the urge to kill was simply uncontrollable. The pistol he had just used to threaten the girl was immediately pointed at the forehead of a fat man who was shouting loudly.

“Want to know what’s going on? Go ask Yama!” (King of Hell)

Gray Bear said with a ferocious expression, and then pulled the trigger without hesitation.

*Bang!*

The fat man didn’t even have a chance to react. A bloody hole appeared between his eyebrows, and he fell down with a look of shock on his face.

“Damn it! Where are the guards? Where did they all go? Come in and kill these guys for me!”

Finally, the men who had somewhat adapted to the light were shocked when they saw their companion being shot. One of them shouted loudly, hoping that the guards guarding the villa would immediately rush in and kill these unwelcome guests.

Unfortunately, his summons was destined to be in vain. Although there were still three guards outside who hadn’t left, it was clear that these guards would no longer listen to their commands!

“Kill us? In your next life!”

Gray Bear fired again. With the sound of the gunshot, the man who had been yelling for the guards followed in his companion’s footsteps. The other men finally realized that the situation was bad and immediately wanted to escape.

Unfortunately, this was the second basement level of the villa, and there was only one exit, but Li Chenzhou and the others were all standing at the door, so they had no way to escape.

So, some of the men began to hide everywhere, behind sofas, in piles of women. In their panic, they couldn’t think of any good hiding places and could only desperately squeeze their fat bodies into concealed spots.

*Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang…*

Gray Bear had a ferocious expression on his face, and the pistol in his hand continued to roar. The men fell one after another. Whether they were fleeing, hiding, or even begging on their knees, the outcome was exactly the same.

After seeing the scene here, Gray Bear had already sentenced all the men involved to death, without intending to let a single one go, and without even bothering to distinguish whether any of them had been forced!

Watching the men turn into corpses one after another, the girls remained stunned in place. They didn’t have panicked expressions, nor did they hide, they just watched blankly.

But as the men continued to die, the blank eyes of the girls gradually lit up, as if their consciousness was returning. Then, they began to cry, and even a dozen of them pounced directly on the corpses on the ground, opening their mouths and tearing at them fiercely, just like zombies.

Li Chenzhou and the others watched from the side. No one spoke, and no one stopped them, allowing the girls to vent their emotions…

Gray Bear walked around the second basement level again, confirming that not a single man had escaped, before returning to Li Chenzhou’s side and looking at the girls.

The girls present were all quite young, probably none older than 23. Although the entire second basement level was as bright as day, they didn’t care about their exposed bodies, they were just venting their emotions on the corpses on the ground.

“For them, perhaps the scariest thing about this apocalypse isn’t the zombies, but these guys!”

Gray Bear murmured.

“Yeah!”

Li Chenzhou nodded:

“Humans who truly release the demons in their hearts will always be more terrifying than zombies!”

Gray Bear nodded in agreement and was about to say something when he suddenly heard a burst of rapid footsteps coming from behind him, as if many people were rushing down the stairs…
