Chapter 1733: Chapter 1764: I Won’t Let You Be Born
The shadow was shrouded in black mist, but from the outline, it wasn’t hard to tell this was a little lolita.
A very petite figure walked towards Baihe Boy in mid-air.
“Lord, we have brought shame upon the Netherworld.”
Five large men bore expressions full of shame. They had vowed earlier to capture Baihe Boy, but in the end, they couldn’t even touch a single finger of his.
Although they had heard of his great name, the fact that there was such a vast gap between them as fellow Netherworld experts left them completely baffled about what had occurred.
“A bunch of good-for-nothings.”
“Keeping you around is just to bully the weak.”
The little lolita’s voice was chilling and cold. From within the dark mist, she extended a small hand, grabbed the men, and tossed them away.
“Baihe, this matter is unrelated to you. If you retreat now, I can act as if I didn’t see you.”
The little lolita looked at Baihe Boy, lifted a delicate orchid finger, and spoke softly with a sinister tone.
Baihe Boy turned a deaf ear, focusing intently on advancing towards the attic.
Li Xiaobai watched from afar, his heart filled with trepidation. The worst had come to pass; the King of Underworld had indeed arrived, only it was unexpected that the Netherworld King was indeed a little lolita.
With a petite figure, flat front and back, long hair reaching the waist, and a pair of sapphire eyes radiating an icy chill.
If placed in a typical household, she might just seem like a doll; however, if deceived by her appearance, one could end up dying miserably.
The King of Underworld’s involvement with the Liu family’s daughter-in-law in illicit affairs proved beyond doubt that he was a real man, a macho man. Dressing like this at present was likely due to some peculiar special taste.
This is a damned transvestite!
And a dead transvestite standing a mere 1.5 meters tall.
“Are you really going to oppose me? The King’s power is not something you can contend with.”
“You and I are old acquaintances. Why have you come here today? You might as well speak plainly. I know you’re not one to meddle in such trivial matters.”
The King of Underworld’s voice was laced with rage. Being ignored by Baihe Boy left him quite displeased.
Baihe Boy stood before the attic, stopping for the first time silently with his back towards everyone.
“When I was young, because of my father, I spent some time near the Boundary Sea.”
The King of Underworld paused upon hearing this, “And what of it?”
“There’s a saying there, man shouldn’t eat too full, or you’ll have nothing to do.”
“And so?”
“Watching you become idle, cooking up these frivolous things. I’ll take a stroll with you.”
Baihe Boy’s voice is unusually gentle, in stark contrast to the fierce and terrifying mask that he wore.
“Everything I do is for the Netherworld. You and the other outside members usually just watch, as always. If you meddle rashly, aren’t you afraid of drawing causality?”
The King of Underworld clenched his orchid finger, pointed sinisterly at Baihe, and remarked.
“Destroying demons is a duty. To behave like this at Ghost Gate, aren’t you afraid of being punished?”
“Since you interfere, who will know? As long as the King presents results, who dares to criticize!”
Baihe’s body trembled, once again taking steps of battle: “No matter, I will take action!”
“The Liu Family Mansion has been listed as a forbidden area within Ghost Gate. Baihe Boy trespassed, acted recklessly, and injured hundreds of my Netherworld Messengers. Today the King shall slay him here to warn the world!”
The King of Underworld shouted harshly, his voice sharp and piercing.
Li Xiaobai covered his ears, complaining inwardly; only a government official would offer an excuse, fabricating a claim to justify his actions beforehand.
Everyone present was your subordinate; who are you spinning this official line for?
“Erased from the Book of Life and Death, not to be reborn for nine generations.”
The King of Underworld took out a small booklet, with three large characters ‘Book of Life and Death’ written on its cover.
This Book of Life and Death was much larger than the one in Black Impermanence’s hand, and the scope it involved was vastly different.
With a casual flip or two, the King found Baihe Boy’s name.
“I gave you a chance,” The King of Underworld’s mouth curled slightly upwards, ink brush in hand, directly striking through Baihe Boy’s name.
The King of Underworld presided over life and death cycles. Among the Ten Kings of Hell, though his cultivation level wasn’t the highest, his authority was definitely the greatest. As long as one’s name is erased from the Book of Life and Death, no matter how great your skills, you must perish.
Yet, after a few breaths, nothing happened; the Liu Family Mansion remained quiet, Baihe Boy methodically stepped into the attic, forcing a great amount of ghostly aura out, scattering wildly.
“What’s going on? Why hasn’t he died despite his name being blotted out?”
The King of Underworld was slightly stunned, again removing the Book of Life and Death to rapidly leaf through—indeed, it was Baihe Boy’s name, but he was perfectly intact, which could only mean one thing.
“Who erased your name from the Book of Life and Death!”
“Who is currently in control of your life and death?”
Baihe didn’t respond, instead, inside the attic, Granny Liu uttered a piercing wail, “Lord, please save me, the fetus inside my daughter-in-law cannot survive!”
“No matter, I will take action!”
The King of Underworld charged into the attic; thunder rumbled, and in the blink of an eye, the attic was draped in webs, shattered into fragments of dust collapsing below.
The room where Granny Liu was also turned to dust, with a great amount of ruins around, a figure clutching a wooden bed rolled out.
The bed was struck so hard that upon hitting the ground it shattered instantly, with a black figure sliding across the surface.
It happened to slide right to Li Xiaobai’s feet.
This was a young woman whose beauty was breathtaking, though her pale face drenched in sweat couldn’t conceal her allure. Yet what deserved attention was not these but the black stripes covering her entire body.
Upon closer inspection, these black stripes were formed by the veins bulging from the body, filled with black substances inside Liu’s daughter’s-in-law’s blood vessels.
A significant amount of black fluid seeped from within.
Especially around the belly, Li Xiaobai felt his scalp tingle. That belly was exceedingly large, taller than when he stood up; could this really be a fetus a human could harbor?
The black veins twisted like they were alive, forming a baby’s face on that belly, a pair of dark pupils fixedly stared at Li Xiaobai.
“What are you looking at, be careful when you’re born, I’ll stuff you back in!”
Li Xiaobai made a scary face to frighten the baby face.
Upon hearing this, the fetus promptly dispersed the human face and reverted back to a web of black veins.
This threat was quite effective.
In the dust, Baihe Boy and the King of Underworld hadn’t emerged yet, while Granny Liu upon noticing the woman missing frantically searched around.
Li Xiaobai mulled over, grabbing the pregnant woman’s legs, gently dragging them to change direction, and slightly spread them to support a huge rock.
“Kid, dare to glare at me, this is your fate.”
“Your family’s deity isn’t someone to be trifled with.”
Li Xiaobai chuckled sinisterly, while the massive rock perfectly blocked the ghost fetus’s birth path.
You strong, all you want, I won’t let you be born, no matter how great your abilities, they won’t manifest.
The black veins twisted once more, forming that baby’s face, which was furious, with a malicious shriek echoing by Li Xiaobai’s ear: “Who are you, why are you opposing me!”
“Oh, you’re arranging for future vendetta?”
“Grandpa isn’t afraid of such things!”
“Remember, my name is Yang Chen, Baihe Boy’s right hand!”
