Chapter 1479: Chapter 1477 Embryo
Under the traction state.
Han Dong’s consciousness was enveloped in a mass of grey fluid, drifting toward an unknown domain.
During this time, his consciousness was in a semi-comatose state, unable to perform any actions, and even his perception of the flow of time was not entirely accurate.
When his consciousness gradually cleared.
Han Dong found himself drifting deeper into the universe along with the grey fluid.
There, a peculiar neutron star floated alone in the void.
Upon closer inspection, the entire neutron star had been modified into a gravity prison (now abandoned).
Guided by the traction of the grey fluid, Han Dong’s consciousness entered the neutron star’s interior, bypassing layer upon layer of prison structures. The deeper he went, the stronger the gravitational pressures exerted by the prison.
In the deepest depths, he vaguely caught sight of something resembling a miniature black hole structure.
Whatever entity had once been imprisoned at the deepest level, needing a black hole for containment, must have been unimaginably powerful.
Within the enveloping grey fluid, Han Dong remained unaffected. Eventually, he arrived at a dilapidated monitoring room. The surveillance equipment had long been abandoned, leaving this place akin to a sealed, pitch-black chamber.
The Gray Walker, dressed in a small waistcoat and with features obscured, had been sitting here all along.
With a gentle motion of his hand, he absorbed the grey fluid surrounding Han Dong.
“Senior, could this be the prison where the demons incarcerated their criminals? Is this the predecessor to the Detention Plane you created?”
“That’s correct… This neutron star prison was once under my direct administration, specifically used to detain entities detrimental to world development.
Here, what constitutes ‘detrimental’ differs from the judgment standards of you humans.
We do not assess whether an individual should be imprisoned based on their *actions*.
Perhaps a demon might seem extremely wicked to you, initiating wars that lead to the deaths of countless individuals.
But from a cosmic perspective, the wars they wage propel the elite refinement of the world—such actions might even draw the attention of certain Old Kings or sophisticated organizations like Mi University.
We evaluate whether an individual warrants imprisonment based on their *essence*.
For instance, the Ninth Element—Kite—an entity inherently destructive to the world. Their very existence acts like poison, parasites, or tumors to the cosmos.
Such beings must be incarcerated to restrict their activities.”
『Out of Control…』
Han Dong immediately thought of this term. The Black Tower’s incarceration system operated similarly—once it detected the emergence of an entity harmful to world development within a given realm, it would mark them as an “Uncontrolled.”
The Gray Walker continued:
“Prisoners held within this neutron star prison were all entities of exceptional potential and immense power… even those at the lowest levels, despite not being granted kinghood, had reached King Level strength.
Of course, some humans were also confined here, and they were among the prisoners I found most fascinating.
Later, a ‘world catastrophe’ occurred, bringing a great impact to our world. Old Kings perished or were gravely wounded, and the world was torn apart, creating irreparable rifts—many of the Upper Rank entities could no longer sit idly by.
At the post-war conference, the idea of constructing a World Sanctuary was proposed.
Many Old Kings, myself included, undertook the task of building prototype sanctuaries. The finest prototype would eventually be selected for comprehensive construction, serving as a refuge during times of global crisis.
My perspective, however, differed from the others.
In my view, if the Main World was to face an apocalyptic disaster, even if core forces and direct-line races were to escape to the sanctuary, the adversaries would inevitably pursue them come what may.
Rather than that, why not craft a specialized space capable of turning the tide, where the enemy’s primary forces could be drawn in when warfare first commenced?
Thus, I attempted to design a Detention Plane that fused the traits of incarcerators, using the prison as its foundation… regrettably, the prototype I submitted was deemed ‘too unstable.’
As the Detention Plane advanced, there was a chance it could harm the Main World, or even inversely devour it.
Subsequently, my design for the prototype plane was rejected.
It must be admitted that the Dreamlands’ design was flawless—serving as an ideal sanctuary, a stable auxiliary world, and ensuring complete severance from the Main World during times of crisis.
I was later ordered to destroy the prototype for the Detention Plane.
Of course, you know how it turned out… that ‘prototype’ now resides within your mind.
I would never allow a prison onto which I devoted immense effort to simply be dismantled.
In my view, the prison world that could eventually evolve from the prototype will far surpass the Dreamlands in significance.
The ‘instability’ they feared requires merely finding a suitable Warden for control.
And you are that chosen one.”
Hearing this, Han Dong raised a somewhat uneasy question:
“Could the previous incarcerators be in my mind as well?”
“Relax, they’ve already been relocated to other zones—whether containment facilities, prisons, or experimental bases.
They merely served as the prototype’s ‘constructors’ and ‘testers’… after all, I needed to ensure the prison’s incarceration ability reached a sufficiently high level, so that once inside, there’s no way out.”
“I see…” Han Dong had long experienced the potency of his mind’s incarceration capabilities.
Once a target met the containment standard, their imprisonment severed all ties to their pre-mortem world, leaving them entirely subservient to Han Dong.
Han Dong continued asking:
“Senior, are you suggesting that as the Faceless Skull develops, it will eventually generate a world?
But this head neither possesses a Land Deed nor nodes within Fate Space—how could it form a world?”
“Land Deed… didn’t I modify it for you already?”
At these words, Han Dong’s eyes widened in sudden realization.
“Senior, are you saying that my skull’s upgrade this time will fuse with the Movable Deed?”
“Correct. This is the true ‘London reward’ I wish to bestow upon you.”
As he spoke.
A Myth-rich Land Deed, bearing Han Dong’s name in the lower right corner, floated mid-air.
“Once successful, your manor will perfectly merge with the prison, initiating the prototype state of the Prison World.
The creatures residing in the manor will remain unaffected, only your title will change from ‘Lord’ to ‘Warden.’
Prisoners confined into your skull from Fate Space will gain greater freedom and growth potential.”
“Let’s do it!”
By this point, Han Dong couldn’t contain his anticipation.
“No rush… first, sit down in this chair.
The process involves spatial expansion within your brain—it will be extremely painful and may even render you ‘Out of Control’ for a period.
Your consciousness has been drawn to this prison’s ruins to impose some restraints on it.
Sally will also assist in suppressing your body from within the Brain Integration Room at Mi University.”
Following the Gray Walker’s instructions, Han Dong sat down in the full-restriction chair within the monitoring room. His brain was firmly bound by over ten steel rings and hundreds of spikes.
When Han Dong lightly tapped the armrest with his finger, signaling that he was ready.
Shh~
A grey tentacle carrying the Movable Deed pierced directly into the rear of Han Dong’s skull.
Instantly, Han Dong’s eyeballs turned bloodshot, and it felt as though they might pop out of their sockets.
The dental restrainer began creaking. Without restraints on his mouth, Han Dong would have bitten off his own tongue or shattered all his teeth in the blink of an eye.
Disguises removed.
Han Dong’s true form became apparent as he violently struggled in the chair!
Clang clang! The deafening sound of steel colliding and his excruciating screams echoed through the prison ruins.
